Purpose: Know the duties of your leaders and submit and share your good things with them

Introduction The Priests and the Levites shared with the rest of the tribes (Numbers 18:8-22) The Levites give their tithes to the High Priest. (No land for the Levites etc)

1st Point
SHARE WITH YOUR LEADERS
1. 1 Timothy 5:17,18 Leaders deserve double honour
2. 1Thess 5:12-13 highest regard respect
3. Leaders deserve respect
4. 1 Corinthians 9:7-14 Leaders are asked to eat from their service.
5. A worker deserves his pay
6. Don’t muzzle an ox while treading out grain.

2nd Point
PURPOSE OF SHARING
1. Hebrews 13:17 Leaders watch over you.
2. They will give account of you
3. To make their work joyful
4. The Leader’s performance is based on his earning

3rd Point
SHARING RESULT BLESSINGS
1. Acts 20:35
2. Proverbs 11:24,25 A righteous man prospers
3. God blesses the cheerful giver
4. Malachi. Test God and see, the floodgates of Heaven

HAS THE MIRACULOUS GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ENDED?
Today I am engaging with some controversial topic. It is about the miraculous gifts of the Spirit.
I am quoting the scriptures from the Bible direct without any dilution. I want you to read them carefully and then suggest your opinions.

In the initial stages of our Christianity, we were taught that, the miraculous gift of the Holy Spirit have ceased. I used to believe that the African worship was worldly and entreated our Church members to use only the Western hymns. I went into extreme to tell our Church members NOT to clap their hands at Church. I want to apologize for what I have taught for many years. I want to say that, that doctrine was false.

First of all I want us to read from the Scriptures.
The following Passages deal with the gifts of the Holy Spirit:
1 Cor. 12:4-11. “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines”.

1 Peter 4:8-11 “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. THIS IS GOING TO BE A SERIES OF TEACHINGS, ABOUT HOW WE CAN USE OUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS TO GROW GOD'S CHURCH.

Introduction
God has given to each one of us special gifts and abilities that can be used to build his Kingdom. It is important that we recognize and understand these gifts, then we discover where God wants us to use them. The purpose of this lesson is to help us recognize or discover all the gifts that God has given to us and then to know which one is your primary gift. When we talk of primary gift, it means that we may possess different gifts, but we may be doing extremely well with one of the gifts we have. The one we do best is the primary gift and the other gifts become our auxiliary or helping gifts.

One of the most controversial Christian topics is the work of the Holy Spirit, and the spiritual gifts. What is the difference between the Gift of God and Spiritual gifts? Many Christians cannot identify their Spiritual gifts. In the first place, God created us with different abilities, talents and Gifts. Another controversy is how we can differentiate the differences between talents, and Gifts.
Who is talented to do certain things and who is spiritually gifted to do certain things? Besides the gifts mentioned in the Bible, do we have other gifts?
Talents or gifts are given by God and they are given responsibilities to be used to accomplish Gods purpose in our lives.

Let us look at the definition of talent and spiritual gift.

Definitions
The distinction between talents and spiritual gifts is that, talents are given to every person by birth. It is natural. Spiritual gift are given to us when we repent from our sin and accept Jesus and receive baptism. Talents are given to both Christians and non-Christians. Talents could be used by non-Christians to do either good or evil. They are given to believers to do only good; but spiritual gifts are used for the growth of the Lords Kingdom and to bring peace and relief to people.

The Acts 20:28
"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood".

Apostle Paul is still calling the leaders of the Church to first of all, take care of themselves. This includes taking good care of ourselves Spiritually and physically. They are to take care of their families, especially their immediate family. We are called to oversee the members of the Church and to shepherd them.

Overseeing the flock of God is so tedious. There are misunderstandings and disheartening experiences.

We are to exercise patience and accommodative to all. We should not meet problems with emotions, but with maturity.

"Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph".

Judges 2:10
"And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel"

There is always a new generation. There came a new Egyptian King, who knew not what God used Joseph to do for the Egyptians.
The new generation of Israel did not witnessed the miraculous means by which God used to deliver them from Egypt.

The new generation of Europe and America are rejecting Christianity. Now we are witnessing evil practices such as lgbtiq+. What are we doing to purge our generation and the unborn generation.

We have to counsel, teach and direct our new generation.
