This past Saturday was a beautiful reminder of what it means to serve as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Members from all eight wards of the Tema Ghana Stake came together at the Stake Center for the All-Africa Service Project. Some came to donate blood and help save lives, while others worked together to clean the Stake Center and the surrounding community.

But beyond the work itself, there was something special about the day.

There were smiles everywhere. People serving alongside friends, families, leaders, youth, and members from other wards. There was laughter, kindness, and a genuine feeling of love and unity.

It was more than just a service project. It was a day of coming together as one family in Christ.

We are grateful to everyone who gave their time, strength, blood, and hearts in service to others. The success of the day was made possible because so many people were willing to simply **show up and serve.**

What a joy it is to see the Gospel lived through service. ❤️

Eight Wards. One Stake. One Family. One Purpose — to serve as the Savior served.

🌸 Empowering Women Through Skills, Faith & Self-Reliance 🌸

Last Saturday, 8 August 2026, the Tema Stake Relief Society & Young Women Program brought together sisters and young women from all eight wards for an exciting and inspiring day of learning, connection, and growth. 💜

The program went beyond practical skills. The sisters and young women were taught important and essential topics for everyday life, including banking and personal finance, financial responsibility, self-reliance, and skills that can help strengthen individuals and families.

The skills workshops brought even more excitement, with sessions on cupcake decoration, floral arrangement, tie & dye, and body butter making. 🌺🧁💐 It was a wonderful opportunity for participants to discover new talents, share their knowledge, and learn from one another.

The Tema Stake Presidency took an active part in the program, showing their support and commitment to the sisters and young women. The Relief Society Presidency also played an important role in supporting and encouraging members throughout the program, helping create an atmosphere where everyone felt welcomed, valued, and empowered.

With sisters coming together from all eight wards, the event was also a beautiful celebration of unity and sisterhood. It provided an opportunity to build connections, strengthen faith, develop useful skills, and encourage one another toward greater self-reliance.

It was truly a day filled with learning, laughter, creativity, faith, support, and sisterhood. ❤️

Day 2 of 12 | Someone Else Will Do It

Today marks Day 2 of our 12-Day Blood Donation Campaign by the Tema Ghana Stake as we prepare for our upcoming community blood donation drive.

"I'm sure someone else will sign up." 🤔

When many eligible people think this way, hospital blood supplies run critically low. Every unit of blood comes from someone who chose to step forward—and that someone can be you.

🔥🍲 Who says Men can't cook? 👨🏾‍🍳

The men of Tema Batsona Ward 1 traded their ties for aprons and brought the heat to the kitchen during our Men's Cooking Activity! 😄 From chopping and stirring to tasting (a little too often 😉), there was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and delicious food to go around.

It was an opportunity to strengthen friendships, learn new skills, and create lasting memories together. The results? Happy hearts, full plates, and a few brothers who may have discovered their hidden culinary talents! 🍛👏

A big thank you to everyone who participated and made the day such a wonderful success. We can't wait for the next activity!

Business Expo & PEF Awareness Fair 2026

The Tema Ghana Stake successfully hosted its Business Expo & PEF Awareness Fair 2026, bringing together a diverse range of businesses to showcase their products and services while creating valuable networking opportunities for members and visitors.

Attendees also learned about the Perpetual Education Fund (PEF) and other educational and self-reliance opportunities available through the Church and the Stake. Members of the Stake Presidency encouraged everyone to take initiative, pursue education and personal development, and take full advantage of the many resources the Church provides to help individuals and families become more self-reliant.

Throughout the event, visitors explored the exhibition booths, interacted with business owners, made inquiries, and discovered where they could purchase products and access various services.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a wonderful success. Together, we continue to build faith, education, and self-reliance in our community.

Inspiring Visit from BYU Marriott Leadership to the Tema Stake Center

The Tema Stake Center was privileged to welcome Dean Brigitte C. Madrian, Dean of the BYU Marriott School of Business, for a special visit with BYU–Pathway Worldwide students and local priesthood leadership. Dean Madrian has served as the dean of BYU Marriott since 2019 and is widely recognized for her leadership in business education and behavioral economics.

During her visit, Dean Madrian held an engaging discussion with BYU–Pathway students and the Stake Presidency, sharing valuable insights into the educational and professional opportunities available through BYU–Pathway and the BYU Marriott School of Business. She spoke about BYU's commitment to helping students develop spiritually, academically, and professionally as they prepare to make a meaningful impact in their families, communities, and careers.

Students were encouraged by her message, asked thoughtful questions, and gained a clearer understanding of the exciting opportunities that await them as they continue their educational journey. The interaction also strengthened the shared vision between Church leaders and BYU Pathway in supporting students to achieve their goals.

The visit left students feeling inspired, motivated, and grateful for the opportunity to learn directly from one of BYU's distinguished leaders. We sincerely thank Dean Brigitte C. Madrian for taking the time to visit the Tema Stake and for investing in the future of our students.
