SATAN HAS FALLEN
LUKE 10:18&19
"I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy."
These are the words of Jesus Christ to his disciples. The power to overcome all the works of the devil has been given to the children of God. We are no less capable of destroying the strongholds of darkness than the disciples of Jesus were about 2,000 years ago.
Satan's fall was not the fall of man. His fall was a demotion from God's dwelling place to a lower place, this is why we must know who we are and what God has told us to do, standing firm in Christ so that we will not be defeated by the many weapons and devices of the devil.
In the Bible, we know of the story of Job and in that we story I have learnt something about Satan. Lucifer has the ability to roam the whole universe because of his make as an archangel so that spiritual attribute comes easily.
He possesses greater qualities than the other angels.
Job 1:6&7 says "One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the Lord, from roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it. Isn't that interesting. Satan has access to every place and every home for that matter. He had ample information on Job's life and gave an accurate report about Job when asked about him by God. He still has those qualities today.
Praying consistently, absolute faith in the word of God and being practical about your Bible studies should give you an advantage over the devil and his cohorts on a daily basis considering the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
1 Peter 5:8&9 says, "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaming lion looking for whom to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same sufferings. THANK YOU!

THE YOUNGEST KING IN HISTORY
Josiah became King when he was just eight years old. He knew what it was to shun evil and do good. He did better than almost all the kings of Israel, even better than Solomon in doing what God commanded as a statute to Moses.

He fought vehemently against the pagan practices that had been added to Jewish culture and destroyed all the altars, asherah poles and shrines where smaller gods were worshipped.

He had great respect for God's laws and is known to be the only King to place a high value on the national obedience to the laws of Israel.

As a King, Josiah respected the High Priest and Prophetess of his time and sought counsel from them anytime he took an action.

Josiah is a model for how Preteens and Teens are valuable before the eyes of God. It had to take Josiah who ascended the throne as a child to do what God couldn't do through several older Kings.

Josiah accomplished great things for God in his teens and is known to be the only King that did what was right in the sight of God, according to the Book of the Covenant.

This is how God sees young people today. Remember God's Son Jesus Christ was only twelve years when he was having discussions with the Elders and Priests in the temple.

Once you have the word of God available, make sure you read and apply it in your daily endeavors and you will be successful in life. The story of Josiah is found in 2 Kings 22-23.

I write to you, dear children, because
your sins have been forgiven on account of His name.
I write to you, fathers,
because you have known him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men because you have overcome the evil one.
I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father
I write you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men, because you are strong and the Word of God lives in you and you have overcome the evil one.

CHRIST HAS A VIEW ON ABORTION
The Bible is clear about murder and it's related atrocities. "Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death" Numbers 35:30a, perhaps you are thinking if abortion is murder.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy or the induced removal of a human fetus. A human fetus is a human and in essence a living being. When a pregnancy is terminated the human fetus dies and the death occured is not su***de, it is murder. For an abortion to take place, there must be some anger or hatred for the human fetus about to be destroyed and as a result, the intention for abortion is clearly out of malice. The whole world is at the behest of Satan, who hates all living beings. It is obvious that such a destructive mechanism emanates from his evil thoughts and plans.
According to the WHO pregnancy and childbirth complications are the leading cause of deaths among girls aged 15-19 years globally. An estimated three million unsafe abortions occur globally among girls within that age bracket. These facts show us that abortion in and of itself is a tool for not only destroying a human fetus but the mother as well. Research has shown that abortion continues to have crippling effects on the future of numerous young girls around the world. Jesus Christ said, "You have heard it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder and anyone who murders will be subject to judgement.' Matthew 5:21
The viewpoint of God on taking another person's life is clear here.
We are appealing to government authorities to implement policies that will address the issues of limited educational, career and employment opportunities for adolescent girls.
In conclusion, even though abortion may not be considered a crime to some people we at Teens of Christ see it as a sin against God and strongly oppose it. "You shall not murder" Exodus 20:13.
Thank you. God bless you for reading.

THE NOBLE YOUNG WOMAN
At a time when there was a famine in her world, God looked at the nobility of this young woman called Ruth and changed her destiny.
At a very difficult period when she had lost her husband and was left with her Mother-in-law, Naomi, what more was left for her to do. Let's see how she got through such a stressful time in her life.
1. Ruth was loyal; Although she was urged by Naomi to return to her people and to her gods, she still clung to Naomi. Ruth 1:16
2. Ruth was industrious; It was a time of food shortage and she worked harder. Ruth 2:2, 7
3. Ruth had faith; Notwithstanding the fact that she was a foreigner, she believed her efforts would pay off. Ruth 2:2
4. Ruth showed gratitude; She understood how difficult it was to find favor in difficult times and she didn't treat it lightly. Ruth 2:10
5. Ruth was helpful; Ruth served her Mother-in-law wholeheartedly as though she was her own mother. Ruth 2:11
6. Ruth was truthful; When she got home with the barley she had earned from her work, she told Naomi the whole truth. Ruth 2:19
7. Ruth was obedient; She was faithful to all the advice of Naomi. Ruth 2:22 - 3:6
8. Ruth shunned promiscuity; At the difficult period like this, she stuck with her morals.
Ruth 3:10-11
9. Ruth was better than seven sons; After careful observation of her character the women said that about her. Ruth 4:15
10. Ruth was the Great-Grandmother of Israel's greatest King; It was only right for David to come out from such nobility.
Ruth 4:17

THE YOUTH THAT SAVED HER COUNTRY
Esther was appointed Queen over 127 provinces at a time when the incumbent Queen Vashti was caught up in pride. The leaders of the nation thought it wise to remove the latter from office after she had refused a summon from the King. It is important that we look at the character of Esther and how she rose to fill up such a great position like this.
1. Esther was good-looking; It takes love and care for yourself to be a beautiful virgin. As a young woman she took good care of herself. Esther 2:2
2. Esther was respectful; It takes a lot to please a Eu**ch and since Esther was put in the care of one, she displayed respect well enough to win his favor. Esther 2:9
3. Esther was submissive; Despite the favor she had from Hegai the Eu**ch, she still submitted herself to the orders of her uncle Mordecai. Esther 2:11
4. Esther was determined; Esther was required to undergo one year of beauty therapy and she was successful. Esther 2:12
5. Esther was wise; Although at some point she was in the care of two Eu**chs at different times, she was able to choose whose advise was better and it inured to her benefit. Esther 2:13-15
6. Esther had a winner's mentality; When it was time to meet the King, she recollected and applied all she had learnt over the period and won the king's favor and approval. Esther 2:17-18
7. Esther was just; After Esther became queen, her uncle reported an assassination conspiracy to her. She then reported to the King, after further investigation, two officials were found guilty and killed. Esther 2:21-23
8. Esther was prayerful; Knowing through her uncle that there was a plan to kill the entire Jewish nation, she fasted. Esther 4:15-17
9. Esther had faith; Even though her life was at stake, she took the step of faith to approach the King and seek his favor and it was granted to her. Esther 5:2-5
10. Esther was considerate; Esther did not care about herself only but she cared about the entire Jewish nation. Esther 8:3-8

THE YOUTH THAT SAVED HIS NATION.
Samuel anointed David at a time when the leadership of King Saul was going haywire so God had to look to this youth, as the next leader. It is important for us to look at the character of David:
1. David had a passion for the military (1 Samuel 16:18) As a teen it's important that you find your passion. Without passion you can't kick start your aspiration.
2. David was hardworking. (1 Samuel 17:15) David worked as a shepherd for his father and also played the harp for king Saul intermittently. He had to go back and forth with these two jobs and was perfect at both.
3. David was obedient to his parents. (1 Samuel 17:20) David was obedient to the instructions given him by people in authority. If he had refused his father's command to deliver food to his brothers with an excuse, he will have missed this great opportunity.
4. David was ambitious. (1 Samuel 17:26)David knew what the reward for bravery and competence was and he persued the cause.
5. David was focused. (1 Samuel 17:28, 32) Despite some opposition he faced by certain soldiers in the army, he was not discouraged and still stayed focus on his ambition.
6. David was humble. (1 Samuel 17:36)
He referred to himself as a servant of the king, when he was telling the king of his exploits.
7. David was unique. (1 Samuel 17: 34-35) David had a resume that was not the regular resume that should employ a person to represent Israel in battle.
8. David was honest. (1Samuel 17: 38-39) David told the King plainly that his armor won't help him in the battle. He stuck with his guns and that helped his victory.
9. David was keen on the work that God was doing with him (1 Samuel 17:45)
Even though Goliath imposed threats on the mind of David, He still trusted in the Lord and was not afraid of the giant before him.
10. David wanted to glorify God. (1 Samuel 17:46-47) David submitted all his abilities to the Lord. He stated clearly that the deliverance of his nation was coming from God.
