THE KEYS TO YOUR DESTINY
(Dealing with Adversaries)


“For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”
I Corinthians‬ ‭16:9‬‬

Apostle Paul was writing to the church in Corinth, informing them of his Apostolic missions. Here, he was writing about a great evangelical opportunity that was before him, yet many enemies were working against its fruition.

The key of David opens great and powerful doors that bring you mighty elevations and blessings. These breakthroughs however attract many enemies who are opposed to your progress. The greater your destiny, the harder the devil attempts to fight you.

You must take these adversaries into battle. Matthew 17:21 teaches us that “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting”. Intercede against any adversary fighting your destiny, just as Daniel interceded when the Prince of Persia fought him for 21 days.

I pray and come against any enemy that is preventing you from taking control of your destiny. May every principality fighting your blessing fall in Jesus’ name. Amen!

DIVINE ENCOUNTER
(Change of Perception)


"All who heard him were amazed and asked, “Isn't he the one who in Jerusalem was killing those who worship that man Jesus? And didn't he come here for the very purpose of arresting those people and taking them back to the chief priests?”
Acts 9:21 (GNT)

A divine encounter changes our view on life.

Before encountering the risen Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus, Paul (Saul, as he then was), in Acts 8, persecuted the church with impunity.

On the road to Damascus, Paul had an encounter which caused a shift in his perception. Everything about the way he saw life changed. Paul went from a misguided unredeemed religious fanatic to one who lived by faith in Jesus Christ. He went from being a man mired in hatred to one who loved God and served His purposes.

Like Paul, a divine encounter changes your perception and you begin to see yourself in the light of who God has called you to be.

Having a divine perception:

1. Builds your confidence and self esteem
2. Prevents worry and anxiety
3. Prevents unnecessary mistakes

I pray that you will have an encounter with Jesus this week, that will change your perception for the better and sustain you under the will of God, in Jesus' name. Amen!

I AM UNTOUCHABLE
(Prophetic Declarations)


“Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”
I Chronicles 16:22 (NKJV)

Praise the LORD!

As a believer, you are marked with the blood of Jesus, and the name of the LORD (Yahweh) is upon you for preservation and covering. The second key thing (after the Anointing) that ensures this covering is perpetually experienced is PROPHETIC DECLARATION upon your life.

Prophetic Declarations involve the making of pronouncements that impact your life positively according to the Word and promises of God.

In the scripture above, the LORD declares that you shall encounter no harm. It is therefore your duty as a believer to continually invoke this word and God's promises into your life, family, children, business and career, ministry and everything you do.

In all situations, declare and prophesy God's Word. That puts you in the realm of being untouchable.
The LORD in Joel 2:28a promises to pour His Spirit that will put prophetic words into your mouth -- “Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy."

Declare with me:
According to your Word, O Lord, I am a son / daughter filled with your Spirit. I declare increase and fruitfulness into my life. I invoke your divine covering over my blessings and declare no evil or harm will come near my dwelling, in Jesus' name. Amen!

GRACE TO OVERCOME TRIALS


“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The life of the believer will not always be smooth sailing. There are times you will go through difficult trials and tribulation. Your expectations may delay, your prayers may seem unanswered and your faith tested.

Above all, the world will often bring trials and tribulations your way to test your salvation and faith in God. Through all these, you need God’s grace to overcome.

Your ability to overcome trials of any kind lies in your complete trust in Christ. In Him is perfect peace and power to overcome.

Remember, the world's systems and authorities of the day came against Jesus, but He prevailed. This same grace is what He prayed over His disciples and all believers.

I pray:
May you not fall under the weight of any trial. May your faith be strengthened in the LORD through His grace upon you. Remain victorious in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God’s favour locate you this week in Jesus name

MY SEASON OF UNCOMMON FAVOUR
(Favour That Changes Identity)


"And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people”
Exodus 11:3 (KJV)

FAVOUR is a powerful force of attraction that is capable of changing your status at any given opportunity. It is capable of shifting every negative identity associated with you into a positive one. That was the story of the Israelites.

For more than four hundred years they were enslaved in Egypt. Despite their covenant with God, they were identified as servants and subjected to torture and harsh treatment.
It took the favour of God to deliver them and change their status as slaves to a people liberated.

You may be going through a situation that has placed an identity on you. This identity may have been imposed over a period of time and thus created a negative aura around you.

Mark 10 speaks of a man called Bartimaeus who had the name “blind” associated with him because of his predicament. When he cried to Christ and received the favour of God, his status as a bling man changed completely. He could now see.

I declare into your life: may the power of God’s favour locate you in this new month; positively transform your current state of life and cause you to attract blessings, in Jesus'name. Amen!

THE POWER OF FAVOUR
(Who is your God?)


“But Ruth answered, “Don't ask me to leave you! Let me go with you. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.” Ruth‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭GNT‬‬

Glory to our living God for granting us another successful week. This week, we took a journey through the book of Ruth. A young woman who lost her husband left her homeland and clung to Naomi. She found herself in a foreign land but it was in this place that God visited her.

It is important to note Ruth's profound statement in the preceding scripture; "YOUR GOD WILL BE MY GOD." It is evident Ruth found God in the house of Naomi. She had a personal encounter with His love, power, favour, and faithfulness. No wonder this decision led her down the path of being recorded in Christ Jesus' lineage. She was completely restored to her former glory and wealth.

“So Boaz took Ruth home as his wife. The Lord blessed her, and she became pregnant and had a son.” Ruth‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭GNT‬‬

Today I call upon you to accept the Lord as your God and join a bible believing church. You can do this by inviting Christ Jesus into your life as your Lord and Saviour. This is your first step to experiencing His power for miracles, countless testimonies, perpetual covenant blessings and most importantly eternal life.

Pray with me:
Heavenly Father, I renounce my sins and old ways. Cleanse me with Your precious blood from my sins. I believe Your son Christ Jesus died to restore me to Your love. I accept Him today as my Lord and Saviour. May He dwell in me now and forever. I receive the Holy Spirit to guide me in your will in Jesus’ name.

THE POWER OF FAVOUR
(Sacrifice invokes favour)


“...And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before...” - Ruth‬ ‭2:10-12 NKJV‬‬

Ruth a Moabite, sacrificed all that she had in her land of birth to follow Naomi to a strange land. She left behind that which was valuable. She sacrificed her comfort and resources. Today, you have the opportunity to offer your sacrifice to God, the Church, your society and your place of work. The outcome as seen in the Bible verses above is favour.

Sacrifices catch God’s attention for His intervention. Be encouraged by this testimony:

During Convention of Saints in 2010, one of our members, a retired teacher, was impressed upon by the Holy Spirit to bless the church with her two plots of land. She struggled to obey because it was the only inheritance she was leaving for her daughters. On the Friday of the Convention, she finally gave in and released the property to God.

The very next day, Saturday, she was summoned by the chief of the area. Beyond her expectations, the chief and elders had decided to give her two plots of land for free and 50 acres of land to sell on behalf of the stool, with liberty to make and keep the profits. She was also given a sack of corn and other provisions to take home. Her gift of two plots of land brought her manifold blessings which exceeded her expectations. This miracle took place within 24 hours of her sacrifice. This can only be God.

May your act of sacrifice open doors for you in Jesus' name.

THE POWER OF FAVOUR
(Show Kindness)


“Again they started crying. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-bye and went back home, but Ruth held on to her.” Ruth‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭GNT‬‬

Ruth and Naomi's story is very remarkable. Despite Naomi's depth of poverty, Ruth maintained her relationship with her. This kindness is a virtue worth emulating.

Kindness has been a character trait for my wife and I in my 30 years of ministry. One of the paybacks of kindness is favour. Favour from God and from men.

The Kindness of Ruth led her to meet Boaz, who then became her husband. Today I charge you to show somebody kindness.

Here is a testimony from one of my spiritual daughters-

"I had the opportunity to travel to the UK because you recommended me and wrote a letter to the British High Commission. From there, I also travelled to the USA, again because of your recommendation.
When I came back to Ghana, you bought me a car to enhance the efficiency of my work. Even when I displeased you, you still supported me. You opened your doors to anyone who was connected to me in ways that surprised me.
When I lost my first pregnancy after marriage, you and mummy prayed, asking God to give me double and in exactly a year, I had a set of twins. During those times you continued to support me with prayers and monetary gifts. You have replaced the father I lost at age 13. My children and I will forever be grateful."
