THE YOUTH FOR WORK PROGRAMME

We're thrilled to introduce to our Facebook family the Youth for Work Programme, a youth development Programme that is seeks to reduce unemployment and provide economic empowerment for Presbyterian Youth in the Northern and Upper presbyteries by equipping them with vocational skills and entrepreneurship training.
The program is under Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, one of the major programme areas run by the centre and is funded by Kerk In Actie.
Since it's inception in 2019, the programme has trained several young people the in vocations such as hairdressing, carpentery, fashion design, piggery, weaving etc.
The programme also offers entrepreneurship training, businesses guidance, mentorship and other support to it's beneficiaries to put up their own business after training. Below are a few pictures

The Presbyterian Lay Training Centre-Tamale has for many years served Presbyterians and other Christians in the Northern Ghana and beyond in the fields of ministry, hospitality, social interventions, etc
But..........
How much do we know about about how this noble institution came to being and who founded it?
For answers to questions and more, PLTC-TAMALE cordially invites you all to its first ever Memorial Lecture in honour of Rev. Fritz Rosingh, the founder and first director of PLTC-Tamale.
