Your Victory Is What Matters.
One day, I had a very scary dream. I saw a man fight me. This man was huge and taller than I am. He was very skillful in his fight that I feared for my life.Surprisingly, I began to fight back. At a point I shouted “in the name of Jesus put your hand down”. This huge man couldn’t raise his hand and it was shaking.
I shouted again “in the name of Jesus OUT”, he became afraid.Then I began to beat him. I beat him excessively until he was afraid and fled.
When I tried talking to him to know why he was attacking me he couldn’t look into my face and he began to shake until he ran away.
When I woke up I began to pray. For a long time I kept asking God to show me who in my life is attacking/working against me. I prayed and prayed yet God didn’t show me anything.
Then one day after bothering God to show me who this person was, I heard the Lord say, “your victory is what matters, and not who is behind it”.I’d like to share the lesson I learnt from that encounter with you. Sometimes we focus so much on the battle and forget the victory. I forgot that the Lord had already given me victory in the dream, and I kept
asking Him of something that had already been won.
Sometimes we all dwell on what has been won and settled, but because we want to know all the details of the victory we forget that there’s already victory.Knowing who was attacking me won’t solve anything,
especially when I had already won the victory. As you step out today, seek for victory and don’t bother about who is behind the problem. In whatever you do, ask God to grant you victory over anything and anyone. In the end we will all win.
