*OFFENDED SCOFFERS*

*October 27, 2025*

READ: *Proverbs 9:7-9*

_He who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself._ - *Proverbs 9:7* _(NASB 1995)_

I have been dishonoured many times by people I rebuked and corrected. In the course of raising up thousands of pastors and being a spiritual father to many, you would expect there would be some corrections and some rebukes.

Most of the people I have corrected have taken it well. But indeed some of them rose up strongly to insult me and to dishonour me. I was called “Satan” by someone when I corrected him. *When pride fills a person, he is easily offended*. A swollen toad is more easily pricked or stepped on than a small one. A puffed up balloon is easier to burst and be destroyed. _When people are proud and swollen the slightest prick causes an explosion._

Inflated pastors have an illusion and a delusion of how big they really are. Sometimes they have had opportunities that have swelled up their minds. *Many successful people are actually the products of many other people’s input*. _Pride blinds you to the things that others have done to make you what you are._

*Many successful people are actually the products of a set of circumstances that have come together in perfect timing to make you look successful.* _This is what someone would call grace or luck._

*Your greatness is merely an act of grace, mercy and love from God.* Rising up, in great confidence about who you are and what you can do, is a sign that you are deceived about who you really are. Such proud people are easy to offend.

When a man can rebuke, insult and degrade his own father, he is indeed proud and too big to remain under his father. *A father’s rebuke can cause a proud person to insult him and to break God’s eternal and sacred commandments of honouring fathers.*

*KEEP THE GIFT ACTIVE*

*October 25, 2025*

READ: *2 Timothy 1:13-14*

_Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands._ - *2 Timothy 1:6*

*You must stir up the anointing that is in you.* _You must stir up the gift that is in you._ *Without stirring up the gift of God, the manifestations will not happen.* All through the ministry of Jesus you will see how He stirred up the gift and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ performed the greatest miracles ever seen by mankind. Jesus operated and manifested the greatest anointing ever seen by human beings.

*How did He do it? How did He stir up the anointing that had been given to Him by God?* Remember that Jesus put aside His divinity and took on the form of a man. He therefore needed to be anointed and empowered just like every other human being needs to be.

After being anointed, Jesus needed to stir up the anointing. The anointing on Him could be likened to a sleeping lion that needed to be stirred up into action. _“He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up?”_ *(Numbers 24:9).*

The anointing on Jesus could also be likened to an eagle that could be stirred up to fly at the highest altitudes. _“As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings...”_ *(Deuteronomy 32:11).*

_You must see how the anointing is stirred up in the ministry of Jesus and stir up the anointing in you._ You must understand what stirs up the anointing by looking at the ministry of Jesus. A closer look at the miracles of Jesus will reveal what stirred up the anointing in every single power encounter.

*October 6, 2025*

READ: *Song of Solomon 3:1-4*

_Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity._ - *Ecclesiastes 12:8*

As Solomon grew older, he became more philosophical. He reflected more on the realities of life and that is when he wrote the book of Ecclesiastes. He almost sounds hopeless about the situations in the world. Solomon notes how vain and futile life on earth is. He calls life on earth *“life under the sun”*. You must have heard the phrase *“vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”*

Indeed, after the age of fifty, you will be saying, *“All is vanity.”* You will notice the futilities more than you notice the possibilities. You will see the tinge of sadness and hopelessness in people’s eyes.

*It is not easy to build great things for God when your mind is working in the Ecclesiastes mode*. You cannot work for God and say it is vanity of vanities. _You need to be in the Song of Solomon mode if you want to build great things for God._ You need to be full of love and passion to serve God. _You must really love God with youthfulness and strength to serve Him beautifully._

*To be a good wife, you need to be youthful and strong so that you can serve your husband with comforts, softness and delights that will make him miss you when you are not with him.* When you are tired and retired, you will not be able to serve him with comforts, softness and delights.

*You need to have a fresh anointing!* _You need to have zeal!_ *You need a drive!* _You need to be sacrificial!_ *You need to be relentless!* _You need to pursue and overtake what lies ahead!_ *You need to be hopeful!* All these beautiful qualities will surface naturally when you are between twenty-five and fifty.

*EIGHT GOOD TRAITS*

*September 26, 2025*

READ: *James 3:2-17*

_But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy._ - *James 3:17*

_Always remember this verse when you fall into a crisis situation and you will come out shining._ Use this scripture to guide every decision in the time of crisis and trouble. This verse will give you the wisdom to know how to navigate out of the troubles that seek to drown you.

The wisdom of God is very well described in this scripture. _The wisdom of God is characterized by_ *purity, peacefulness, gentleness, malleability, mercy, good fruits, fairness and the absence of pretence*. Every decision taken should be characterized by these eight traits.

What is the wise thing to do? What is the right thing to do? Use this scripture to help you take proper decisions that will eject you from the crisis. Do not use our own mind! Use the wisdom of God! Stop using little quips and sayings as your guidepost.

People say things like, _“What goes around comes around.”_

They say, _“If you do good, you do it for yourself.”_

They say, _“Every little crocodile becomes a big crocodile.”_

These apparently wise sayings are nice and wise-sounding but Christians have the word of God as our great source of wisdom.

You have the word of God and you know what the wisdom of God is. *Use the wisdom of God as your guidepost.* Let the scripture tell you what the best thing to do is.

READ: *Psalm 95:1-6*

_Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms._ - *Psalm 95:2*

*Thanksgiving is the master key to experiencing the presence of God.* You will notice how many churches experience the presence of God by singing praises. _Use thanksgiving as your key to getting near God’s presence._

Saying, *“Thank you”, praising God, worshipping Him truly, is a master key to the presence of God*. _Do you know why demons have filled the atmosphere around you?_ *It is because of your continual discontentedness.*

_Do you know why demons and evil spirits fill people?_ *It is because they are continually grumbling and complaining. They are angry at everything. They are unhappy with everything.* This continual attitude of unthankfulness opens the door for evil spirits.

As the children of Israel walked through the wilderness, they were filled with discontentment and grumbling. This opened the door for evil spirits to come into their lives. All the children of Israel who were twenty years and above were killed because of evil spirits.

Death is an evil thing and all the agents of death were sent to consume the complaining children of Israel in the desert. *Make sure you do not fall to evil spirits through your unthankfulness.* God wants to change your life. God wants to bless you. God wants to help you but you must be thankful.

_Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name._ - *Psalm 100:4*

*WHAT IS YOUR LIFE?*

*September 21, 2025*

READ: *Ecclesiastes 6:1-4*

_If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable._ - *1 Corinthians 15:19*

*If there were no eternity that is destined and determined for us, we would be the most miserable of all.* It cannot be that our existence on this earth is all that there is to life. If that is the case then even the life of a chicken may be better because when a chicken dies, it is still useful, in that it can be eaten.

*Predestination helps you to overcome the futility, pointlessness and senselessness that characterizes life in this world*. _If you do not find your destiny, expect two words to describe your life:_ *futility and vanity.*

_Knowing you are predestined to an eternity with Jesus gives meaning to your life._ Acquiring more things is therefore useless and pointless. There is vanity and futility of never having enough money because the more you acquire the more expenses and bills you have. Thank God for eternity! Heaven is your destiny. You are predestined to walk on the streets of gold and be content in the presence of God.

_Knowing you are predestined to an eternity with Jesus gives meaning to your life_ *and takes away the vanity and futility of working but not being able to enjoy the fruit of your labour, and a few good things.*

_A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is VANITY, and it is an evil disease._ - *Ecclesiastes 6:2*

Many millionaires own mansions on islands they may visit every two years, but they have security men enjoying the mansions all year round.

*Thank God that you are predestined to live in glory and in a mansion prepared by Jesus himself.*

*September 11, 2025*

READ: *Leviticus 8:33*

_Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men._ - *Matthew 5:13*

*There are many things that need to be in sufficient quantities if they are to be useful.* Salt is one of them. There may be salt in food but if the salt is not enough, it is as though there is no salt in the food. _You may work hard but if you do not work hard enough, your work may prove futile._

*There needs to be enough waiting on God.* _Waiting on God involves spending quality time with God._ The Levites were expected to spend seven days with God. There are many ministers who do not make enough time to wait on God. Can you spend three days with God alone? Can you spend a whole day with God?

*There should be enough prayer.* Saying three-minute prayers is not enough. *Jesus prayed for three hours!* Jesus prayed all night! _Jesus waited on God for forty days and forty nights!_ Three-minute prayers cannot make an impact on your life and ministry.

A pastor said to me, “I am not able to pray for more than twenty minutes.” He continued, “I always marvel when you say that you pray for an hour.”

*There should be enough money.* There must be enough money to do the work of God. If you do not have enough money, you cannot accomplish much! You may have some money but not enough to do the work of God. *You will need to learn how to raise enough money to do the work of God!*

*There should be enough books*. _The reason why the Bible has such a great impact in the world is because it is the most published and printed book in the world._ *The more a book is published and the more it is printed, the more it is read!*

*LEARNING BY REHEARSAL*

*September 10, 2025*

READ: *Matthew 10:5-17*

_And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing._ - *Luke 22:35*

Jesus allowed His disciples to rehearse what it meant to have faith in God for provision. *You will need to rehearse living by faith.* _Jesus taught His disciples to go out and trust God for finances._ Jesus sent them without purse and without money.

_And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them._ - *Luke 9:3-5*

When the disciples came back, He asked them, *“Did you lack anything?”* Jesus had just given them a great lesson in surviving by faith. You may be in Bible school. God will give you a lesson on faith and on how to overcome financial problems.

*Finances will always be a challenge for the ministry.* Never think that churches anywhere have all the money that they need. Many churches are actually in debt, scrounging for scraps from day to day. *We will always have to trust God to provide our needs.*

_When you are young in ministry, God gives you a chance to rehearse a life of trusting Him._ To live off a salary takes a lot of faith! To live without a salary involves a high level of faith! To prosper without earning a regular salary also involves a lot of faith.

All these levels of ministry involve rehearsals. *Learn to trust God and He will take care of all your needs!*

*THE ART OF MEDITATION*

*September 9, 2025*

READ: *Joshua 1:1-8*

_This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success._ - *Joshua 1:8*

*Enlargement will come through meditation.* Most people do not think about the word of God enough! *By thinking about the word of God you will begin to have revelation*. _Revelation is a spirit._ The Bible speaks of the spirit of revelation.

_You need the spirit of revelation if you are to achieve anything for God._ Teachers, pastors, prophets all need a spirit of revelation! Revelation will come through meditation.

Joshua’s mission was to enlarge into The Promised Land. He was to occupy more land, more territories and more space. He was to enlarge until he displaced the enemies of God. He needed a master key to become successful. *God gave him the master key of meditation.*

*Meditation is the art of becoming successful.* Joshua was told to meditate on the Word and become a success. _Meditation was the master key given to Joshua so that he could be successful._ *Has it ever occurred to you that successful people are deep thinkers?* You do need to think a little deeply if you want to experience salvation. _You do need to reflect a little more deeply on the word of God if you want to be successful._ When I meditated on the scripture, *“Give thyself wholly to these things”* I received revelation and jumped out of practicing medicine into full-time ministry.

_Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all._ - *1 Timothy 4:15*

*Meditation is the art of extracting wisdom!* Meditation is the art of becoming successful by extracting the fearful instructions out of God’s word. It is the art of becoming successful by developing a fear of God. Meditation is the art of becoming successful by extracting the details of things you have been told to do. *Meditate upon the word of God!*

*LEARN TO LOVE*

*September 6, 2025*

READ: *1 John 4: 7-21*

_The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed._ - *Titus 2:3-5*

*When you dwell in God, you dwell in love!* _Loving the Lord is the evidence of God’s presence._ *Loving the Lord is a sign that God is in you. Loving the Lord is a sign that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is in you.*

If you do not have the love of God, you have not found God. If you have found God, He will be in you and with you. The love of God will fill you and dominate your life when you find God.

_If you love the Lord, it is probably because you have learnt to love Him._ You can learn to love Him more! *Love can be learnt!* _Love can be taught!_ Loving the Lord is the proof that love can be taught. God is invisible! No one really knows how to love someone we cannot see. We are feeble and weak creatures. We do not even know how to love our fellow human beings. However, we can embark on a project to learn how to love one another and also to learn how to love God.

The scriptures tell us exactly what to do if we want to love God. Many things can be learnt. Spiritual things can be taught. Even obedience can be learnt as a subject *(Hebrews 5:8).* Just as obedience can be learnt, love can also be learnt. There is a notion that some things just come to us naturally.

When people get married, they are taught how to love one another. A man who does not actively learn how to love his wife will not be a good husband. A woman who does not actively learn how to love her husband will fail in marriage.

*It is important to believe that you have to actually learn how to love.*

*JOYFUL RESPONSES*

*September 4, 2025*

READ: *Deuteronomy 28:45-48*

_Because thou servedst not the lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;_ - *Deuteronomy 28:47*

People say, *“Thank you”* by not being happy. _Not being happy, not being joyful and not being glad are things that God takes note of._ When you give something to someone, you look at his face to see his reaction. Are they happy? Are they excited? Are they genuinely joyful? Are they impressed? Were they easily impressed?

All these thoughts go through the giver’s mind. As you know, some people are more reflective and perspicacious and they will notice little flickers in your attitude towards your gift.

*God is equally looking at your responses to His goodness*. Since you did not feel so happy about serving Him with joy, He is going to transfer you so that you serve the enemy in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness and in the want of all things. Curses pursue and overtake you until you are destroyed because you did not serve the Lord with joyfulness and with gladness.

*Your attitude matters!* Do not think that it is just your words that matter. *God is equally interested in your attitude.* _Don’t be flat! Don’t be unsmiling! Don’t be plain-faced!_ *We need to see that you are excited and joyful.* _God needs to see that you are excited and joyful_.

He is watching your face very closely. That faint smile on your face is not good enough. _God wants to see your teeth and wants to feel that you are excited about what He has done for you._ *God wants to see you jumping happily and excitedly.*
