78 years of grace, 78 years of God’s faithfulness!

Today, we celebrate our shepherd, Your Grace, Most Rev. Philip Naameh, Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale. We thank God for your life, your ministry, and the years you have given in service to Christ and His people.
May God continue to guide your steps, renew your strength, and bless your ministry with many more years of service.
Ad multos annos!
From the youth, your children and grandchildren of the Tamale Archdiocese, we say Happy Birthday!

AGCM 2026 IS IN FULL SWING!

Day One kicked off with arrivals, warm welcomes, socialisation and plenty of time to connect before we got into the PYC report readings and discussions.

The reports continued this morning as more PYCs shared their experiences and activities from their various parishes.

Now, it’s time to sharpen our leadership skills.

We’re currently having a Leadership Skills Training for Parish and Archdiocesan Officers, facilitated by Br. Kenneth Kunditani, Mr. George Neegu Fuglu and Mrs. Gloria Vem-Odette Der-Kuunyigr, which has started very well with engaging discussions, practical insights and lots of learning.

The energy is high, the learning is real, and AGCM 2026 is only getting better.

On Monday at the Saint Charles Minor Seminary, we came together in faith.

The chaplain, Fr. Gerald led us in the veneration of the Cross and the Image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, where we prayed, and laid our burdens before Christ.

A talk was given on the significance of WAYD symbols in a student’s life.

The Cross, he taught us, gives strength and the image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help reminds us we’re never alone..

It was more than a program. It was an encounter that renewed our hearts and strengthened our faith.

We thank you and every student who showed up. May the WAYD symbols keep guiding us through every step with Christ.

See you today at the Saints Peter and Paul Parish.

On Saturday, we gathered at Jubilee Park as one family in Christ to receive the West African Youth Day Cross and the Image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a powerful symbol of love, sacrifice, and hope at the Jubilee Park.

From there, we journeyed together in a spirit of prayer and reflection, processing to the OLA Cathedral, where we celebrated Holy Mass and poured out our intentions to Christ.

This was more than just an event, it was a deep spiritual encounter. Our hearts were renewed, our faith strengthened, and our unity as a Church made even stronger.

Saturday was not only for the youth, it was a beautiful gathering of young people, parents, and the religious all coming together as one body in Christ.

We are truly grateful to everyone who participated and made this moment meaningful. Your presence brought life and purpose to this sacred journey.

May the Cross continue to remind us of Christ’s love and inspire us to live out our faith boldly every day.
