Being regular in church attendance does not automatically mean that we are living a Christ-like life. True Christianity is reflected in our character and daily walk with God.

WHAT IS CHARACTER?
Character is maintaining a right standing with God.
● One of the most important relationships that should remain open, healthy, and transparent is our relationship with God _ 1 KINGS.17:1

● Just as people can be identified by their culture, Christians should be identified by their godly character and lifestyle.

HOW TO BUILD A GODLY CHARACTER.
1. Consistently Build Your Fellowship Altar.
Develop a strong and consistent prayer life. Relate with God intentionally, just as you would nurture a relationship with someone you deeply love.

2. Study the Word Daily.
Be intentional about reading and meditating on God's Word every day. Many people fail to appreciate the importance of having a strong relationship with God until they face difficult times.

3. Live with the Consciousness of God.
Let the awareness of God's presence guide your thoughts, decisions, and actions at all times (Acts 23:1; Acts 24:16).

HOW IS CHARACTER BUILT?
1. Through Godly Associations.
▪︎ The people we associate with have a significant impact on our lives and character.

▪︎ No one falls without first giving place to wrong influences.

▪︎ One of the major tools the enemy uses against believers is ungodly association.

▪︎ Therefore, be intentional about surrounding yourself with people who encourage and strengthen your walk with God.

Dear Beloved, character is not built overnight. It is developed through consistent fellowship with God, daily study of His Word, living with a clear conscience before Him, and maintaining godly relationships. A strong character is the foundation of a fruitful and enduring Christian life. Remain Enlightened.

Living consciously with eternity and the future in mind is the foundation for building strong character and a meaningful life.

■ Being aware that life is finite makes you intentional, avoid wastefulness, and seek wisdom.

■ Without eternity in mind, people live carelessly and assume they have time to correct mistakes later.

■ Integrity and character are the principal factors behind success in marriage, academics, finance, and future legacy.

■ Our actions now determine where we will spend eternity and what we will pass to future generations.

■ Death and judgment are inevitable _ Hebrews 9:27_How you live now decides your eternal outcome. This should drive decisions and choices on a daily basis.

■ Gaining the whole world while losing your soul profits nothing. The scripture warns us against compromising character for money, status, or pleasure, with examples of people destroying themselves for material gain.

■ True character is built by God’s word, prayer, vision, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

■ The Holy Spirit empowers you to overcome fleshly desires and live godly because, a pure conscience and departing from wrongdoing are essential.

■ Life isn’t just about today therefore im our decisions, we should consider long-term consequences for our financial, marital, career, and spiritual future, as well as the legacy for our children. Endure hardship now for future reward, like Jesus and Moses did.

■ Godly character secures divine protection, opens doors to honor, and keeps you from destruction. It also requires guarding your focus and associations, since people around you influence your character.

Dear Beloved, Live with eternity and the future in view. Work on your character now through God, integrity, and intentional choices, because it determines your success, your eternity, and your legacy.

The perspective of character must be properly understood. Many people are unable to enjoy certain blessings from God and even from the people they work with because of the kind of mindset and character they possess.

One of the most neglected aspects of life is destiny. Many believers today are only trusting God for breakthroughs, but they are not willing to work on themselves. Yet, destiny is preserved and sustained by character.

The Apostle Paul admonished Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12 to become an example in word, conduct, love, spirit, faith, and purity. The way a person speaks reveals who they truly are.

As believers, we must be examples in words, in charity, and in conduct. We must become intentional about our character because every action has consequences. The Scripture says, “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

1. CHARACTER IS HAVING INTEGRITY OF HEART.
● God loves people who are conscious of their integrity because integrity is what Heaven recognizes.

● Integrity preserves everything we are building in life and destiny.
In Job 2:3, God Himself boasted about the integrity of Job before Satan.

● We live in a generation where many people cannot be trusted with valuable things because integrity is lacking.

● A person who has nothing to hide will always walk boldly. As written in Acts 24:16, Paul exercised himself to always maintain a conscience void of offence before God and men.

● It is important to possess moral soundness and to choose truth over lies.

● No one is destroyed without their own involvement. Many destinies collapse because of compromised character.

2. CHARACTER IS LIVING ACCORDING TO THE STANDARDS OF THE WORD OF GOD AND NOT THE WORLD.
● Character is the ability to live according to God’s Word regardless of the standards of society.

● A believer can live a blameless life when they choose to follow the Word of God_1 THESSALONIANS.2:10 declares how holily, justly, and blamelessly believers ought to live.

● Your character must not change because of pressure, trends, or convenience.

● The Word of God must become the standard for our decisions, relationships, conversations, and daily lifestyle.

Dear Beloved, Character is not built in public; it is formed in secret. Gifts may open doors, but only character can keep those doors open. God is more interested in who we are becoming than merely what we are praying for.
A man without character may gain opportunities, but he will eventually lose them. Therefore, every believer must intentionally build godly character, integrity, honesty, humility, and obedience to the Word of God.
