The history of the prophetic movement starting from Azusa street .
The Azusa Street Movement that began in Los Angeles, California, in 1906 brought the gift of speaking in tongues back into prominent usage in America and around the world. The Charismatic Movement of the early 1960s to late 1970s awakened this gift across historic mainstream congregations. It seemed like there were no longer small pockets of revival, but that truly His Spirit was being poured out on all people.
