The Key to Walking in Divine Knowledge!
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)

The beginning of everything we do in our lives has a correlation with its end. In other words, the way we begin will determine how it ends. When we begin it well, the tendency for it to end well is high. Jesus Christ began very well and ended excellently. The same can be said of Joseph; he began well and ended very well even in the midst of opposition. The remarkable thing that can be identified in the lives of the children of God who begin well and end very well is the fear of God within them. The fear of God within them gives them the divine knowledge to order their steps in every endeavor. Remember that the fear of God also produces divine wisdom in us, and the knowledge of God is understanding (Proverbs 9:10). Dear beloved, the key to walking in divine knowledge, understanding, and wisdom is the fear of God. We need divine knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to worship God, serve Him, please Him, and fulfill the purpose for which He created us. Those who despise His wisdom and instruction in the Holy Scriptures became fools, living frustrated and unfulfilled lives. Beloved, the fear of God is to hate and depart from all appearances of evil and to walk in righteousness (Proverbs 8:13). Fear God and your life will be wonderful. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for teaching me how to fear you in your Word. I pledge my life to fear you and to live a life that is pleasing to you to draw many people to Jesus Christ. Amen!

Can You Do Without Love?
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16 (KJV)

The subject of love is one that everybody likes to discuss. Being products of love, human beings cannot stop talking about love neither can we do without it. Love shows up in our utterances, songs, dances, symbols, culture, etc. Sometimes lust is interchanged with love, but the two are not the same. Lust is born out of the senses, but true love proceeds from God. Love goes beyond human senses; it is of God and is expressed through a regenerated heart. For God to really demonstrate His love for humanity, He had to sacrifice Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, on the cross of Calvary for our sin (Mark 15:24–37). By the sacrifice of His dearest Son, we know and believe that God loves us (1 John 4:16). Thus any born again Christian who abides in love dwells in God and God in him. Dear beloved, can you do without love? Anyone who can do without love is either not a human being or a person not living in their right frame of mind. Beloved, for your act of love to be acceptable to God, it must be done in Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Please go ahead with your charity or act of kindness, but do it in the name of Jesus Christ so that many people can be drawn to Jesus Christ and be saved. Hallelujah! Be loveable!

Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, thank you for loving me and making me the product of your love. Please help me to be conscientious to live a lifestyle of love to show the sacrificial love of Christ Jesus to everyone who comes my way. Amen!

He Deserves Our Worship!
“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Psalm 100:5 (KJV)

No one can ever know the Most High God except He makes Himself known. Being infinite in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, He has a way of manifesting Himself in knowledge to those in the world and His own children in His Kingdom. He uses creation to reveal Himself in every language of the world (Psalm 19:1–3). When it comes to His children, not only does He use creation but He uses the Holy Scriptures and His Spirit, called the Holy Spirit, to reveal Himself to us. We must remember that He sent His only begotten Son to also reveal the knowledge of His person to us (Hebrews 1:1–4). The opening scripture is one of the scriptures that reveals to us the true nature of God. Indeed, He is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth, or faithfulness, endures to all generations. Dear beloved, have you ever tasted the goodness of God? It is His goodness that has given you life so you can be able to testify that He is good. We all enjoy His mercy, especially when we sin and need His forgiveness; He forgives us fully but sometimes disciplines us for our waywardness so we can learn our lessons and return to Him. Furthermore, He has simplified His truth, called the Holy Bible, and made it portable to reach all generations. What a mighty God we serve! Truly He deserves our worship. He is the object of our worship and faith; let us reciprocate His love and goodness by worshipping Him, serving Him, and exhibiting His nature for the world to know that we are truly His children. Hallelujah! Be like God!

Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, thank you for revealing the knowledge of your goodness, mercy, and truth to me. Please lead me to always exhibit your true nature on Earth to draw people to you, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Do You Trust in God?
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

It is unlikely that we will choose untrustworthy people to work with or choose as friends. Trustworthy people are good to work with because they are truthful and faithful in their relationships and seek to please their bosses or master. If some people can be trustworthy, how much more God, the Creator of the universe? The Most High is the most trustworthy person in the universe (2 Timothy 2:13). No wonder the opening scripture admonishes us to trust Him with all our heart and to not depend on our own understanding. Why should we trust Him with all our heart? He wants all our attention focused on Him because a divided attention produces doubt, which destroys faith. Dear beloved, without faith, it is impossible to please God or get anything from Him (Hebrews 11:6). Any child of God who trusts God will never complain, murmur, or doubt the Word of God but believe, put confidence in the Word of God, and place all their cares on God in prayer. It is when we acknowledge Him that He directs our paths and brings us to a place of fulfilment, success, peace, rest, joy, and prosperity in Him. Hallelujah!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for your Word today. I put all my trust in you. Please lead me to enjoy fulfillment, success, peace, rest, joy, and every good thing in life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Can I Do Without Faith?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

The Most High God is the source of faith. In fact, no one can have faith bigger or greater than God. His demonstration of faith began by creating heaven and the earth and everything therein. It is worth knowing that everything He created on the earth was first done spiritually by an act of faith before it eventually manifested physically (Genesis 2:4–6). Thus mankind was created spiritually first before their physical manifestation. Dear beloved, no child of God can do without faith, because without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). We became children of God by faith, and this continues throughout eternity (Romans 10:8–10). Faith is taking God at His word and living it out through our utterances, actions, and reactions. Beloved, the basis of your faith should always be the Holy Scriptures because God is always looking to see that His Word is fulfilled in your life (Jeremiah 1:12). Thus it is vital to use the Holy Scriptures to pray and keep believing them and walking in them till they are fulfilled in your life. Most of the people Jesus Christ healed in His ministry on Earth were commended for their faith; He always said, “Your faith has made you whole” (Mark 5:34; Luke 17:19). Beloved, any time you study the Word of God, meditate on it by saying it boldly to yourself so that you can generate faith in your heart because faith comes by hearing the Word of God—and you will have enough faith to get all the results you need in your life (Romans 10:17). Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word about faith. I’m highly inspired. Please lead me always in exercising my faith daily without any fear or doubt in order to always get good results, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Today: When we “sleep”, the enemy slaps!

Passage: Eph 6

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph 6, NIV)-emphasis added

Unless one wants to be a true friend of Jesus, satan has no problem!

That is why many don’t want to be too close to Jesus.

For those who are closer to Jesus, there is an ongoing fight with satan

Struggle is the highest level of a fight. The result could be life/death

The first step in spiritual warfare is getting stronger in the Lord

Spiritual battles are best fought in physical weakness!

Don’t get me wrong. I will explain

When we fast and pray, we are very strong in the spirit to fight the devil

The principles of God’s kingdom are just opposite to that of world’s kingdom

Paul admits that in 2 Cor 12. “When I am weak (in the flesh) I am strong (in the Spirit). If we are not willing to go that far, we cannot win the fight

To be a victorious in our life, prayer and fasting are a must, not an option.

I am not speaking about extended fasts. It could be a meal that you fast

Avoiding the things you like the most is also a type of fast. Daniel and friends fasted from all non-veg, and lived on just water and vegetables

The second step in spiritual warfare is putting on the whole armor of God

While strength in the Lord helps us in the offence, putting on the whole armor of God helps us in our defence. When a person is physically healthy, he/she won’t become easily sick. Their body has a good defence mechanism/system

To resist the attacks of the devil, we need a good spiritual pattern: good food (word of God), exercise (prayer, faith) and the like. Above all, we need discipline. Separate time and do it every day

May God help us to defend the devil’s attack and also to go in the offence, to destroy the works
of the devil (1 Jn 3:8) and to build (Jer 1:10, Mt. 16:18-20)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I need your help to overcome the various attacks and tricks of the enemy. I cannot know everything, but you know. Give me the prophetic vision so that I can know in advance and be prepared. Amen

Today: Resisting the devil or his enemy?

Passage: Eph 6

When we are spiritually blind, we will be unable to see God as He is; also, we will under-estimate the devil. Many in church assume there is no devil!

The Bible makes it very clear:There is one God, and there is one devil

You can either be a friend of God or devil, not both!

Satan was no accident. Light is evident only in the midst of darknes.

Many people want to live and shine for God inside the church or in the middle of so much light; but the best place for light to shine is in the midst of darkness

So, if you have been complaining about darkness, start thanking God for that

It was not a mistake that God put us in a world that is hostile to God

God put us where we are needed the most. People need prayer so much than ever before. Satan is working with his full power knowing his time is up

Three things we need to know about satan: Satan is got power, he is wicked and is cunning. He is the master of deception

Unfortunately, wickedness and cunningness finds its place right within churches and organizations that bears God’s name!

We may see people who seem to be so much after God, but as we get closer, we may see thay are not what they profess to be. That is why many are drawn away from Christ. Jesus told us to be wise like serepnts and innocent like doves, not to be cunning or crooked!

Christ was wise, but was never cunning or decepetive; He was innocent!

Without God’s mighty power, we can’t overcome the power of the rulers and authorities of the satanic world. Many families as well as churches were destroyed because people identified the devil’s work much too late!

8 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout
the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (1 Peter 5, NIV)-emphasis added

The right step to get rid of the devil’s attack is to get closer to God

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for being with me and helping me to resist the devil. Without your help, I can’t do it. Help me to discern that which is of the devil and to stay away from it, even if it comes through a “friend”. Amen
