*Theme: _BE PREPARED FOR THE “FIRST FLIGHT”._*

_*For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).*_

Make no mistakes about it, the time left before the Master’s return is shorter than many realize. What we’re expecting right now is the Rapture of the Church, the “catching away” of all those who are born again and walking in the light of God. Suddenly, we’ll disappear from this world to meet the Lord in the air.

Someone may ask, “How is that going to be possible? Imagine that the driver of a commuter bus or pilot of an airplane filled with people is born again, but the passengers aren’t; are you saying the driver or pilot will be raptured while the vehicle or airplane crashes?”

First, people who ask such questions haven’t understood what’s about to befall the world. The Rapture itself is judgement for the world. In Luke 17, Jesus said the day Noah entered into the ark, the floods came. Also, the same day that Lot went out of S***m, fire came from Heaven and burnt up the city; judgement began immediately.

At the Rapture, cars and planes crashing with people onboard is all part of the judgement for the rejection of Christ. At that point, the hour of His grace would have been over. If any Christian is left behind, it’s because he or she wasn’t living the life of a Christian. They’ll be amongst the ones who’ll go through the Great Tribulation that’s to take place after the Rapture. And among them, a multitude of people will eventually be saved.

DON'T SELL THE KINGDOM OF GOD SO CHEAP

There was one day I was walking on the street and I saw a young boy not walking properly, it appears as if he had some problems with his legs, and within me I felt like "I can just go and pray for this boy and he would be healed" but the Spirit of God said "Don't sell God's Kingdom so cheap". I couldn't understand what that meant at first but then He explained to me that God doesn't do miracles because He has the power to do miracles, He does miracles because He want souls in His Kingdom

This implies that we present the Kingdom of God to people with power in order to save their souls, it's not to show people that we are anointed or gifted, it's not because of the money or material gifts the people have to give.

God's business on earth is to gain souls. Just as you sell products to earn money, God gives out a lot of blessings to people for free in order to win their souls into His Kingdom. Therefore, any ministry or minister of God who is only concerned about miracles, healings and blessings without making serious efforts to save souls, disciple souls and train them to fulfill their callings and destinies is not of God, such ministry or minister has failed God and heaven

In the sight of God, a soul is too precious than the highest amount of riches and wealth we have here on earth. There was a man in the Scripture named Cornelius, this man was a great selfless philanthropist, he was so generous that he gave out so much to help the poor and needy but when God was going to reward this man, God sent an angel to him to tell him to call for Peter who will lead him to salvation. Though this man was wealthy and nice and good in character but God wasn't satisfied with that, God needed his soul and that of his entire household saved.

Question: Will you be forgiven for a Sin you committed that you knew was wrong before committing the sin?

Answer: First we must acknowledge that we are all imperfect and we all commit sin.

1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin…

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

We learn more from 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Acknowledgment… confession… cleansing… light…

It is so wonderful to know that God has provided a means by which we can have forgiveness and be washed clean from our sins, and dwell in light, if we but follow these steps.

We know that sin is not a onetime event and so we read in 1 John 1:7 that the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin. And to “walk in the light” doesn't mean that we don't ever sin, rather it means that we are doing our best not to, while we fully trust in the blood of Christ to cover our imperfect behavior, our shortcomings and failings. When we “confess our sins” it is like shining a big spotlight on the shadowy areas of our life and that acts like a disinfectant and demonstrates to God our humble recognition of our failings. By these steps Christ cleanses us from sin, if realizing our imperfections we continually make application for forgiveness.

Clearly we all continue to sin after we accept Jesus as our Savior and actually there is no more serious condition for the Lord's people to fall into than to imagine that they are perfect in the flesh, for that is pride, which thing “the Lord hates.” (Proverbs 8:13) It implies blindness to one’s own failings.
