The University of Education, Winneba, yesterday received two LED screens - each 8 x 6 ft - from the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Ghana in fulfilment of a pledge made by the National Overseer, Pastor Dr E. K. Tumsiah, during the university's first Interdenominational and Thanksgiving Service of the second semester held on 31st May 2026, where he was guest speaker.

The vice-chancellor, Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, who received the donation on behalf of the university in the company of the management team, expressed heartfelt appreciation, describing it as the first gesture of its kind since he assumed office.

He noted that at a time when many people questioned how churches utilised the resources entrusted to them, the donation demonstrated the practical impact of Christian service and reflected the example set by Christ during His earthly ministry.

Presenting the screens on behalf of the National Overseer, Pastor Yaw Osei Owusu, Zonal Coordinating Overseer for Western-Central, said the donation was intended to enhance worship, learning and communication at the Jophus Anamoah-Mensah Conference Centre. He added that the gesture symbolised the importance of collaboration between faith-based institutions and academia, stressing that society benefited greatly whenever the Church and educational institutions worked together towards a common goal.

In addition, 600 copies of DAILY MANNA, the instructive devotional authored by renowned Christian leader PASTOR W F KUMUYI were also given to the management to be shared with staff.
