Every blessed day, try to spend at least one hour with the Lord.
Now, within the one hour, use twenty minutes each for the following three things...
A. PRAISES AND ADORATIONS
From the scripture, according to 2Chronicles 20:1-30, a war was declared with surrounding Nations namely; Moabites, Amonites and Meunites against the King, Jehosaphat and his people. This war got the King terrified but mastered courage and had faith in the Lord Almighty. Reading from verse 21 downwards, the King appointed singers amongst his people to walk ahead if their army in other to fight against their enemies (opponents) without any weapons; singing to the Lord and praising Him for His Holy splendor.
With God being so good at their side, as soon as they began to sing and give praise, the Lord caused the armies of the Moab, Amon and Mount Seir to start fighting against themselves and King Jehosaphat and his people became victorious in all. Just imagine what singing praises and adoring the Lord can do. This is the reason why you must lead everything you do with praises and adorations to the Lord.
B. SCRIPTURE READING
According to John 15:7, It says.. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want and it shall be granted unto you.
Beloved, each one of us have something expecting from God to do for us. But how often do we read the Bible or listen to his word in other for it to remain in us so that what you and I is expecting from the Lord, would be done.
This also goes to the reason why you and I need to read the Scripture (Bible) and not just reading but for it to abides in us. You can read Matthew 6:33 too. And finally..
C. PRAY
According to Acts 12:1-17, for the sake of ( the Gospel) Christ's name being proclaimed by Peter, He (Peter) was arrested. Reading from verse 5 downwards, while Peter was in prison, the church ( congregation) prayed very earnestly for him and as result of that, the Lord sent His Angel to Peter's rescue. When he got back to his people at where they meet for prayers, they became so amazed and joyous.
REMEMBER! Prayer is one of the weapons which every true believer ( Christian) can use to refute any work of the devil upon your Life. Besides, it's also a way of communicating with the Lord Almighty. That's why 1Thessalonians 5:17 says, pray without ceasing.
This also goes to be one of the reasons we need to pray and wait upon the Lord for his favorable responses (results). You may read Ephesians 4:6 as well.
THESE ARE THE THERE THINGS YOU ARE EXPECTED TO DO EACH DAY WITHIN AN HOUR
