Are You Still Afraid?
Evangelist Akwasi Sarfo Shares:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalms 27:1 (KJV)
Fear has been defined by some schools of thought as false evidence appearing real. In other words, what you fear will ultimately come to pass in your life if you don’t overcome that fear (Job 3:25). The psalmist overcame his fears by doing something—he made the LORD his light and salvation. He went further to make the LORD the strength of his life. When God is your light, you will fear no darkness in life. Darkness has torments and represents that which is negative in all manner of wickedness and sin.
Beloved, when God is your light and salvation, He will light up your darkness with His light and save you from all acts of sin and wickedness. Furthermore, if God is the strength of your life, you will live in divine health (3 John 2). You cannot live a normal life and go about your daily routines if you are not in good health; hence, to ensure you live in divine health, make God your strength. Dear beloved, believe in the opening scripture, meditate upon it, and declare it continually over your life to ensure that it becomes a reality in your life. Praise the LORD! You are an overcomer!
Prayer Point: My faithful and loving Father, thank You for enlightening me today. Indeed, if I make You my light, salvation, and strength, then fear will have no place in my life. I make You my light, salvation, and strength today, in order to enjoy freedom from fear and walk in boldness, divine health, and peace in Jesus’ name. Amen!
