*“SUFFERINGS & GLORY”*

READ: *2 Timothy 1:1-18*

_But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy._ - *1 Peter 4:13*

*Suffering is always followed by glory*. When people run away from the suffering, they are also inadvertently running away from the glory of God. The reasons why many people avoid full-time ministry is because they do not want to suffer any loss for Jesus Christ. If you lose your life for Jesus, you will gain it. *If you suffer for Christ, you will receive glory.*

_By running away from any form of suffering whatsoever, you are fleeing from your greatest blessings in Christ._ Remember that Jesus Christ is worthy to receive glory and honour and power and riches and blessing because He endured the cross and suffered the shame for us. _How will you ever be worthy to receive glory and honour and power and riches and blessing if you are not prepared to endure your cross?_

Onesiphorus was not ashamed of Paul’s chains but identified with Paul’s shame and disgrace. It is important to identify with the shame and disgrace that is associated with ministry.

*God has a plan for you. Immerse yourself into His will*. _Do not stand on the fringes and taste of the ministry without partaking in the sufferings._

You are promised glory after you have been a partaker of the sufferings. _“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;”_ - *(2 Corinthians 4:17).*

God is going to bless you mightily with His glory as you serve Him and fully accept to be immersed into whatever sufferings, shame, calumny, slander, defamation, horror or pain inflicted on you. *God is great! At the end of the day, you will enjoy His glory.*

*IDOLS, SACRIFICES…*

*January 31, 2026*

READ: *2 Kings 2:18-28*

_But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice,_ *THEY SACRIFICE TO DEVILS*, _and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils._ - *1 Corinthians 10:20*

Jehu called as many people as possible to come and make a big sacrifice to the idol, Baal. *This big sacrifice to Baal caused the end of that congregation*. _An entire congregation perished because they worshipped idols._

*The love of security, the love of money, the desire for wealth will wipe out your church*. _The new idols are a love for security, a love for family, a love for happiness, a love for a good life, a love for good children, a love for grandchildren, a love for a happy home and a love for peace_. *Your idol is what you give up everything for.*

Today, many Christians worship the idol of money, peace, security and good living. This idol is presented to the church as that which must be sought after and that which must be attained. _Your god is the one who can make you wake up early in the morning to work very hard._ *Your god is the one you sacrifice to.*

Idolatry has brought an end to real evangelism and worldwide missions. This trust in the idols of security and peace has brought about the end of evangelism in the world today.

The end of the church comes when these idols of safety, success and wealth are glorified by pastors. Christians, under the guidance and inspiration of their pastors, will give up everything for money, peace, security and successful living.

*The end has come to many parts of the church because of the curse of yielding to idols*. As the church fails to sacrifice to God, it gradually diminishes.

_Instead of sacrificing to God, the modern church is sacrificing to demons._ The sacrifices which people make are actually being made to devils. *Are you sacrificing to devils or are you sacrificing to God?*

*FRUIT-BEARING…*

*December 27, 2025*

READ: *Judges 13:1-25*

_There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren (Aqar), in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil._ - *Exodus 23:26*

_Several Hebrew words are translated into the word_ *“barren” or “barrenness.”* Each of these words has a special meaning and throws the light of revelation on the subject of barrenness.

_The word Aqar means_ *“the destruction or removal of generative organs”.* It also means: *“to have non-functioning organs”, “to be barren or sterile”*. It is used in reference to people like Sarah, Rachel, Hannah, the mother of Samson, and Rebecca.

Ministers suffering from Aqar barrenness are deficient in the generative aspect of ministry. *This means they are deficient in the outreach and fruit-bearing aspects of ministry*. _They are unable to give birth to anything in the ministry._ Such pastors may have many activities but these programmes do not bring much fruit for the ministry.

*One way of fighting barrenness is to consider the outreach aspect of your ministry.* _Do you have crusades? Do you plant new churches?_ The absence of crusades, breakfast meetings, witnessing campaigns and real ministry work, shows a deficiency in the generative aspect of your ministry.

Barren people who are members of the church receive the Word and probably have the messages. They may even be involved in other activities of the church. They are seen at prayer meetings and become “fat” spiritually. However, such people will not be involved in ministry, evangelism or soul winning. This proves that they have a deficiency in their spiritual generative organs.

*FRUITFUL FIELDS*

*November 30, 2025*

READ: *2 Kings 2:1-15*

_Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest._ - *Isaiah 32:15*

*The Holy Spirit will turn the wilderness into a fruitful field!* The Holy Spirit made Elisha a fruitful field. Elisha was an unknown shepherd following cows across the fields of the Middle East. When the mantle of the Holy Spirit came on him *(1 Kings 19:19)*, he turned into a mighty prophet who bore much fruit and did wonders for God. Everyone in the world knows about Elisha today.

Elisha bore twice as much fruit as Elijah. What brought about the great change in Elisha? What made Elisha fruitful? *It was the mantle of the Holy Spirit that came upon him.*

_The Holy Spirit will turn the wilderness into a fruitful field_. The Holy Spirit made Saul into a fruitful field. Saul was an unknown young man in Israel. There was nothing unusual about him till Samuel anointed him *(1 Samuel 10:1, 6, 10-11).* Samuel declared that he was now anointed to be a king. Today, we all know about Saul because the Holy Spirit came upon Him. _The Holy Spirit constantly turns wildernesses into fruitful fields._

*The Holy Spirit turned Isaiah into a fruitful field*. Isaiah declared that the Spirit of the Lord had come upon him and had turned him into a preacher of good news *(Isaiah 6:1)*. Isaiah was enabled to bind up the broken-hearted and proclaim liberty to the captives. Isaiah was able to set captives free because the Holy Spirit was upon him. _Isaiah had suddenly turned into a fruitful field because the Holy Spirit was upon him._

*GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS*

*November 29, 2025*

READ: *2 Chronicles 26:1-15*

Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the cornergate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them. Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. - *2 Chronicles 26:9-10*

King Uzziah was sixteen years old when he ascended the throne of 0Israel. He accomplished great things and he was famous for many great things that he accomplished. Uzziah did not feel that he needed to wait till he was twenty years old.

*Look at the amazing things that Uzziah did.* Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem. Uzziah dug many wells and built many towers in the desert. Imagine that! He was producing water in the desert. Uzziah was into farming and he had lots of farmers under him. King Uzziah had large hosts of fighting men and a large army. King Uzziah invented engines in Jerusalem, long before the Industrial Revolution started.

*Napoleon also became an army officer just after his sixteenth birthday.* He went to military school in Paris when he was fifteen years old. He was forced to complete the two-year course in just one year, after his father died of stomach cancer. As a teenager, Napoleon became his family’s chief source of income. He became a commissioned officer just after his sixteenth birthday. Even at the age of sixteen you can become the main breadwinner for your family.

*Napoleon became famous because he started his career at the age of sixteen*. Just like King Uzziah, who also started his career at the age of sixteen, *Napoleon accomplished great things!*

*TIME FOR FRUITS*

*November 13, 2025*

READ: *1 Chronicles 13: 7-14*

_And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down._ - *Luke 13:8-9*

*There is a time when you are expected to bring forth fruits*. _We cannot wait endlessly for you to bear the fruits that God expects._ There is a time for fruitfulness. The timing of your fruitfulness is very important.

*There are certain things we must see within a year*. _If we do not see a certain change within a year, then there will be no change in the future._ No one can wait endlessly for lunch; there is a time to eat.

Many restaurants close by 3.00pm for lunch. If you are not there, you lose your chance for lunch. In the same way, God cannot wait endlessly for you to produce fruit for Him to enjoy. Within a year, there must be some fruit! Certain changes must take place within a year. When there is no change in a year’s time, it is time to take decisions. Hard decisions must be taken to cut down certain fruitless trees after one year.

There are certain changes we must see within three months. If we do not see a certain change within three months, then we know for sure that there will be no change in the future. When the Ark of the Covenant visited Obededom’s house, there was a drastic change within three months *(1 Chronicles 13:13-14)*. Within three months everybody knew that something unusual was happening.

There are certain fruits that must be borne within three months. In most relationships, if there is no change in three months there is not likely to be any change ever. After a counselling session, you expect changes to take place. We cannot wait endlessly for a change that never comes. You may safely conclude that there will never be a change if certain changes do not take place within three months.

*PEACE TO BUILD*

*November 1, 2025*

READ: *1 Kings 5:1-12*

_And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace._ - *James 3:18*

*Satan seeks to take away the peace from your life through conflicts.* _Once the peace has been taken away, the environment in which you can bear much fruit is destroyed._

*You need peace if you want to bear fruit.* The fruit of righteousness is always created in an environment of peace.

David could not build a house for the Lord because of the conflict that was in his life - wars on every side. When you have conflict on every side of your life, you cannot build much. It is important to dry out and quench all forms of disloyalty and treachery in your life.

When you have quenched the insurgencies and rebellions against your leadership, you will have rest on every side. When you have rest on every side, you will become like Solomon and be able to build great things for God. Solomon was commissioned by the Lord to build the temple because he had the necessary peace.

When I began to teach on loyalty and disloyalty, I was actually destroying the enemies of the church and creating a peaceful environment in the house of God.

*Those who leave you,* _those who pretend,_ *those who are disloyal,* _those who forget_ and *those who accuse you* are the ones who destroy the peace in your life. You must learn to deal with all forms of disloyalty so that you can have an environment of peace! Dangerous sons and ignorant people are destroyers of peace. The influence and power of such people to destroy peace must be broken so that you can have peace to build and to bear much fruit.

*Receive the peace of God!* _Receive the blessing of loyalty, harmony and faithfulness!_

*Through calmness, peace and tranquillity, you will achieve great fruitfulness!*

*FATHER’S BUSINESS*

*October 30, 2025*

READ: *Matthew 16:13-20*

_And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?”_ - *Luke 2:49*

*Our Father’s business is the business that has to do with God.* _God is happy and impressed when some people want to be about His business, rather than their own business._ Building a mega church means taking God’s business to the highest height possible.

The gates of hell are mentioned only once in the entire Bible *(Matthew 16:18).* _The gates of hell are associated with the building of the church._ Anyone who involves himself in the building of the church will be working next to the gates of hell itself.

*At the gates of hell, there will be evil powers, evils spirits and wicked entities going in and out, looking at what you are doing.*

Whenever you start building the church, you are defeating satan and his cohorts right in front of their front gate. Defeating satan at the gates of hell means that you have gone into his territory and put him on the defensive. *Satan is constantly on the defensive whenever you are building a church.*

_Your enemy is always weaker when you are fighting in front of his gate._ No one wants a fight in front of his gate. It is always much better to fight in front of your enemy’s gate. When the fight is in front of your enemy’s gate, he has only one chance to make a mistake. Do not be worried about counter attacks. Most of satan’s attacks against church buildings are helpless gasps and death gargles of a loser. *Those who attack church builders are clutching at straws, trying to find something to weaken their enemy who is overwhelming them.*

*SELF EXALTATION*

*October 29, 2025*

READ: *Daniel 7:9-14, 22*

_Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil._ - *1 Timothy 3:6*

*Being a novice means being new.* It means you are a beginner. Lucifer was the first novice who fell into pride. Lucifer was a novice who was condemned because of his pride! _Lucifer fell into_ *“The condemnation of the devil”.* It is the pride of a novice that causes someone to lift himself up against authorities that have been established for years.

As far as dealing with Almighty God, Lucifer was a beginner. Almighty God is from everlasting to everlasting. Jehovah is the Ancient of days. Lucifer, on the other hand, was created and appointed. The mountains were created by God! The mountain of fire was created by God. Lucifer was also a created angel!

_Lucifer vaunted himself against our great eternal Father!_ *It is only a novice who would think of attacking Almighty God.*

_Most novices are deceived and think more highly of themselves than they should_. *Most novices have a problem of presumption*. They do not know who they are in relation to the older and more experienced person. _People who attack their superiors often underestimate their experience, wisdom and knowledge._

Lucifer should have had a proper estimate of himself in relation to God. That was the great mistake of Lucifer! How great is our God! How great is His name! Lucifer was new to the world and yet he did not appreciate the greatness of our God who created him and ordained him. He did not appreciate the greatness of God who had existed from everlasting to everlasting.

The Almighty God, the Ancient of Days, has existed for all time. *He is the Lord God Almighty, the everlasting Lord.* God is not someone newly appointed or newly created. We are the ones who are making new discoveries every day.

*MORE THANKS*

*October 28, 2025*

READ: *2 Corinthians 4:13-18*

_O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever._ - *Psalm 107:1*

*It is important to give thanks to the Lord, because we only say “thanks” to a good person*. _Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His mercies endure forever._

Perhaps the most important reason for giving thanks is that you send a clear message to God that you think He is good. *Thinking that someone is good shows love and appreciation.*

God is actually good. Satan is the one who tries to make God out to be an evil person. Satan wants to tarnish the image of God and accuse God of doing bad things. This is why large sections of the human race have turned against God saying that there is no God, and if God were alive, why would He allow certain things to happen. Giving thanks to God is to say that God is actually good!

_From today, you will be saying,_ *“Thank you”* _all the time_. From today, you will be saying to God: *“You are good”. I believe in you. “You are my good God”. “I like you” “I want to be near you”*. When you show appreciation to God, you are revealing a beautiful spirit of appreciation, adoration and love.

_For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?_ - *Psalm 6:5*

*A master key to staying alive is giving thanks!* Why is this? The psalmist reminds God that if he were in the grave, he would not be able to give Him thanks. God will keep you alive so that you can keep giving thanks to Him. *God will delay your funeral and delay your burial so that thanksgiving will abound to God.* _God does many things to allow thanksgiving to abound to Him._

*OFFENDED SCOFFERS*

*October 27, 2025*

READ: *Proverbs 9:7-9*

_He who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself._ - *Proverbs 9:7* _(NASB 1995)_

I have been dishonoured many times by people I rebuked and corrected. In the course of raising up thousands of pastors and being a spiritual father to many, you would expect there would be some corrections and some rebukes.

Most of the people I have corrected have taken it well. But indeed some of them rose up strongly to insult me and to dishonour me. I was called “Satan” by someone when I corrected him. *When pride fills a person, he is easily offended*. A swollen toad is more easily pricked or stepped on than a small one. A puffed up balloon is easier to burst and be destroyed. _When people are proud and swollen the slightest prick causes an explosion._

Inflated pastors have an illusion and a delusion of how big they really are. Sometimes they have had opportunities that have swelled up their minds. *Many successful people are actually the products of many other people’s input*. _Pride blinds you to the things that others have done to make you what you are._

*Many successful people are actually the products of a set of circumstances that have come together in perfect timing to make you look successful.* _This is what someone would call grace or luck._

*Your greatness is merely an act of grace, mercy and love from God.* Rising up, in great confidence about who you are and what you can do, is a sign that you are deceived about who you really are. Such proud people are easy to offend.

When a man can rebuke, insult and degrade his own father, he is indeed proud and too big to remain under his father. *A father’s rebuke can cause a proud person to insult him and to break God’s eternal and sacred commandments of honouring fathers.*
