On Sunday 26July 2026 the Odorkor Ward Bishopric organized a special meeting with the youth to discuss important issues affecting their spiritual, emotional, and personal development. The purpose of the meeting was to provide a platform for the youth to openly express their concerns, ask questions, and receive gospel-centered counsel from the Bishopric.
During the interactive session, the youth raised several questions and challenges they face in everyday life. Topics discussed included handling embarrassment and public name-calling, dealing with comparisons from parents, overcoming bullying, addiction, criticism, and stress, staying motivated to attend church, understanding the purpose of the sacrament, developing talents within the Church, and strengthening their relationship with God.
The Bishopric carefully listened to every concern and provided thoughtful, scripture-based guidance and practical advice. The youth were encouraged to rely on Jesus Christ, pray consistently, study the scriptures, and seek support from their families and Church leaders whenever they face difficulties.
The meeting was uplifting and impactful, strengthening the testimonies of the youth and reassuring them that they are valued members of the Church. It also reinforced the Bishopric's commitment to supporting and mentoring the youth as they navigate the challenges of today's world.
The meeting concluded with expressions of gratitude from both the Bishopric and the youth for the opportunity to learn, share, and grow together in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
