نصيحة إلى إخوتي
أ رأيت من قبل طفلا يبكي إذا ما أخذته أمه جالسة حتى تقوم فإذا ما قامت يكف عن البكاء لمدة ثم يستمر بالبكاء؟ حينئذ تكون الأم محيرة لا تدري كيف تعامل ولدها لتجعله سعيدا حتى تكاد تغضب من كل شيء حولها إلا ابنها مع أنه هو السبب من تحيرها. هل تكذب من أخبرك بأنك عاملت أمك هكذا؟ أجل عاملتها هكذا من الطفولة والآن ها أنت غاضب منها لأنها قالت لك شيئا وبعد قليل نسيت وقالت لم تقل. أ نسيت قول الله عز وجل "ومن نعمره ننكسه في الخلق أفلا يعقلون". فإذا ما بلغت الكبر نكست في الخلق فتصير كطفلة لا تدري بالضبط ما يدور حولها إلا بالاستشارة فلا ينبغي لك الغضب منها حينئذ حتى لو أخطأت في أمر. كلمها بأحسن الطريق وادع لها ربك ليغفر لها ويرحمها كما ربتك صغيرا.

ADVICE TO THE YOUTH
Have you ever seen a child crying if his mother takes him whilst sitting until she gets up, and if she gets up, he stops crying for a while and then continues crying? At that time, the mother will be confused, not knowing how to treat her baby in order to make him happy, until she is almost angry at everything around her except at her child, even though he is the cause of her confusion. Would you deny who tells you that you treated your mother like that? Yes, you treated her like this out of childishness, and now you are mad at her because she said something to you, and after a while she forgot and said she did not say. Have you forgotten the saying of God Almighty, “And whomever we give long live, We shall reverse him in creation. Do they not then understand?” If she reaches old age, her creation will degenerate, and she will become like a child who does not know exactly what is going on around her except with consultation, so you should not be angry with her at that time, even if she made a mistake in something. Speak to her in the best way and pray to your Lord to forgive her and have mercy on her as she raised you when you were little.
