*Putting on a New Dawn*

Date: Sunday, January 21, 2026

Speaker: *Apostle J.K. Ampeaw-Addo*

📖 Scripture References
Isaiah 43:18-19: Forgetting the former things; God doing a new thing.

2 Corinthians 5:17: Being a new creation in Christ.

Revelation 21:5: God making all things new.

Ezekiel 36:26: receiving a new heart and a new spirit.

*1. The Call to a New Dawn*
At the start of every year, we naturally assume and declare, "It shall be well with us." However, mere declaration is not enough. God desires us to actively "put on a new dawn."
This requires a shift in behavior from previous years:
Prayer: Where we failed to pray last year, this year we must pray.
Work: Where we were not hardworking, this year we need to work hard.

*Total Change:* There must be a visible difference in our lives, not just physically, but spiritually.
2. *Casting Off the Old* (Isaiah 43:18)
Just as we remove old, filthy clothes when we want to look good, we must strip away the habits of the past to embrace the new. You cannot put on the new dawn while wearing the "rags" of the old life.

We are called to leave behind:
Fornication
Drunkenness
Backbiting
Bad behavior
And all bad vices

*Key Truth*: You must let go of the past acts and the thoughts that accompany them.

3.*The Conscience as Judge*
Our conscience serves as the chief judge of our lives. If we do not let go of the past, our conscience will condemn us.
A sinner cannot effectively fast, pray, or do good works if they are weighed down by a guilty conscience.

*The Solution:* Forgive yourself, seek God’s forgiveness, and move on. Do not let the past discourage you from the goal ahead

4.*Stop Hiding*, Start Aligning
When Adam and Eve sinned, their instinct was to hide themselves.
Sin causes us to hide from God.
When we hide, we miss out when God is bringing His blessings.

To access God's abundant and limitless blessings, you must stop hiding and align your life with the newness of Christ. God is in the process of beginning new things with you
5. *Practical Application:*

Write the Vision
To truly walk in this "New Dawn," you must take action:
Write down all the new things you expect to come your way.

Pray over them everyday.
Use the list as a reminder that you have entered a new season.

🕊️ Benediction

May your eyes see the goodness and glory of God. Your time will surely come. Live an upright life, love others, and behold—He is doing a new thing!

SERMON: REMEMBER YOUR CREATOR IN YOUR YOUTH

By Apostle J.K. Ampeaw-Addo

Sunday, December 28, 2025

Scripture Readings
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Genesis 39:2
1 Samuel 1:6–18

Message

The Bible admonishes us in Ecclesiastes 12:1 to remember our Creator in the days of our youth, before the evil days come. This means that youth is not a time to waste, but a season to build a solid foundation in God.
When we commit our lives into the hands of God, we are not lost. Anyone who truly trusts God cannot be misplaced in life. God gives direction, purpose, and preservation to those who submit to Him early.
As young people, when we trust and commit our lives to God, we gain the strength to flee from fornication and all forms of lust. A life surrendered to God is empowered to overcome temptation.
The Bible tells us that Samuel spent his youthful years in the house of the Lord, and because of this, God elevated him. Samuel grew in wisdom, favor, and spiritual authority. This teaches us that when youth learn to wait on God and remain under His shadow, their future is secured.
Everything that troubles you—your fears, struggles, dreams, and questions—must be taken before God. When you place your burdens at His feet,
He gives you peace and direction.

If you have God, you have everything. God will reveal Himself to you in due time. Your struggles are not in vain; they are part of the process God uses to shape you.
God is committed to meeting the needs of the youth. Our responsibility is to depend on God and stand on His Word.

When God is with you, like He was with Joseph in Genesis 39:2, even difficult situations will work for your good.

Conclusion
As youth, choose God early. Stay in His presence. Trust His process. Your life will speak, your future will shine, and your labor will not be wasted.
Have a wonderful and blessed year, youth.
May God establish you, guide you, and elevate you in Jesus’ name. 🙏✨

Sermon Message

In life, no one becomes successful without first submitting to a master. Every great skill requires apprenticeship. In carpentry, plumbing, tailoring, hair styling, engineering, and many other professions, people must first sit under a master to learn the skills, techniques, and discipline of the craft. Without guidance from a master, no one becomes a master of themselves.

There is always a process—and that process produces what we call the master’s touch.

In the same way, there is also a spiritual master’s touch. When God places His hand upon a person, it does not matter where you come from, the family you were born into, or the name you carry. Even a negative name can be changed by God.

Remember Jabez. His name meant pain, and it affected his life. But the day he cried out to God for a change, the God of heaven touched him, and his story changed forever. That is the power of the Master’s touch.

According to 1 Corinthians 1:26–27, God, in His wisdom, does not always choose the strong, the rich, or the respected. He calls the rejected, the ignored, the overlooked, and the ones society considers irrelevant—so that His glory may be revealed through them.

It is the Lord who builds people into glory. He picks those the world has discarded and makes them relevant.

So if you feel worthless, jobless, childless, unhealthy, unmarried, rejected, in pain, or left behind in life—hear this: you need the Lord as your Master. He is the One who carries people and gives them the touch that changes destinies.

You may think you are cheap, but God says you are priceless.
You may feel hopeless, but God restores hope.
Your talents may be hidden, dormant, or untapped—but when God, the Master Himself, touches you, your oil will overflow.

You may look weak, dusty, and rusted, but with the Master’s touch, you will become highly valued. People may overlook you today, but when the Master’s hand rests upon you, they will begin to notice you.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” If He is your light and your guide, you will never walk in darkness again. God will turn what looks impossible into something very possible.

When God touches you, there will be a new and bright life—change will come, health will be restored, finances will improve, and lives under God’s touch will flourish.

John 14:10–11 reveals the unity of the Trinity. Believing in Jesus the Master and submitting under His guidance brings you into alignment with that divine touch.

Let me close with this truth:
If you remain in Christ, everything in you will come alive. You will not be destroyed. You will be well. You will receive answers to your prayers.

This morning, I declare that the disappointments of the past are over. The addictions, setbacks, yokes, afflictions, and confusions are broken by the touch of Jesus. You are worthy in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Points

1. Touch me, Lord, and prepare me for success in every area of my life.

2. Let Your Master’s touch come upon my life, my business, my career, and my ministry.

3. Let there be total transformation in my spirit, soul, and body.

4. Every hidden gift and dormant talent in me—come alive by the Master’s touch.

5. Father, turn my weaknesses into strength and my impossibilities into testimonies.

6. By Your touch, restore my health, finances, and purpose.

7. I receive divine direction, clarity, and alignment under the lordship of Jesus.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Until you align with God’s will, you will keep chasing shadows.”
