Before the unexpected event, Mama Boatemaa served as a catechist with charge at PCG Emmanuel Congregation, Bawjiase

She concurrently served as the PCG Kwanyako District Lay Rep to the Central Presbytery Session and AHRM of the Kwanyako District.
