Assemblies of God Ghana at their 30th Biennial General Council Meeting 2022 on 5th August elected Rev. Dr. Stephen Yenusom Wengam as the new General Superintendent. He will take over from Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso who will end his two terms in office during handing over.

HELP THE POOR IN THE SOCIETY

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
[1Timothy 6:17-19].

We are to follow Christ's example by showing a passionate concern for others and use it to bless others. Humility and service are also expressions of generosity.

"If a man shut his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered" (Proverbs 21:13).

"If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth" (1 John 3:16-18).

God made money to come and go. It is never really yours to keep, so share it with others. Your life will go places when you give. May we continue to be humble and be generous to others in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.

TAKING EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE
James 4:6-8

6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Not every thought which pops in your head is yours. Strange thoughts may indeed pop into your mind. It could be thoughts of lust, greed, hatred, or any other ungodly thing. A thought is not yours until you accept it. Every thought is an offer, but you do not have to receive every offer given. Satan knows your weaknesses, and he will continue to feed you with what you respond to.

Let us analyze our anchor passage. The passage says, “Submit to God,” and then “Resist the devil.” Without submission, there is no power of resistance. The resistance is you resisting the devil’s luring of your desires. If you are in the Spirit, the devil attempts to draw you into the flesh. But you must resist and continue to abide with the Lord. You resist by looking to the cross where your deliverance was purchased. On the cross we find the power of Christ to strengthen us, and we also find the place of crucifixion, where our flesh is put to death. We look to Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith.When you take heed to God’s call to draw near to Him, He has promised to draw near to you. May His abiding presence remain with you now and forever more Amen.
PRAYER : I submit myself to you and resist every Satanic alluring. I reject ungodly thoughts and keep myself in the Spirit in Jesus name AMEN!!!!

God has given us instructions to follow if we want to succeed in life. The Bible is a very Practical and Instructive Book. Dignitaries in the GREEK MEANS, Glories, Authority and Those whom Honor is Due. When you are accompanied by such Spiritual Dignitaries, the Realm of the Spirit opens more and more to you. Every time you despise any spiritual dignity, God becomes angry with you.

Topic: The Word In Your Heart.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
[Deuteronomy 6:6]

If there's anything in this life which you must keep in your heart for posterity I firmly believe it should be nothing apart from the word of GOD. David said in *[Psalms 119:105] NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path*
Elohim admonished His children[Israelites]to keep the words spoken and written to them through Moses in their hearts at the center of everything they do.
If you get control of a man's heart then everything he or she possesse's is yours. In case you care to know, your heart is what pumps blood to the various parts of the body as we are told by scientists. In short your heart is the breeding ground of your actions and inactions. For the Bible says,as a man thinks in his heart, so he is.

Satan knows this secret so will do everything within his power to get hold of your heart. Stay alert my Precious one and prioritise God,s word above everything else and see the transformation it comes with.
May God,s love envelope your heart for deeper walk with him until His appearance in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: IS ANYTHING IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD?
TEXT: LUKE 1:37 (KJV) “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

*Knowing that nothing is impossible with God motivates us in our relationship with Him*.
Coming into contact with the opening scripture should change your mindset about the Most High God. His Authority, Power and Ability to create the entire Universe truly shows that He can do the things we consider to be impossible (Genesis 1:1). Dearly beloved, the situation you find yourself in, looks strange to you, and you may wonder how God is going to get you out of it. It is fine to think that way because that is your limitation, but God is limitless. There is absolutely Nothing that is too hard for the Lord? (Jeremiah 32:17b) Lay your situation before Him in prayer, and trust Him for a change (1 Peter 5:6–7). Sarah’s womb was dead; it was impossible to conceive naturally at the age of ninety, but God made it possible for her to conceive and give birth to Isaac (Genesis 21:2). Beloved, keep trusting in this Word of God, and you will live to share your testimonies with others. You are the next person to be visited by the Almighty God .A lovely mid week and Good morning

Jeremiah 17:5-8 says, “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land which is not inhabited. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Every body has confidence In something in one way or the other. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put our confidence in man. What is the source of your confidence?. Is it your Talent, Skills, Abilities,Educational and Professional Certificates, Wealth, Wisdom, Technical-Know- How, Parents, Family Background, Beauty, Spouse, Job, Financial Status in Society, Experience or Connections and Links? The name of the Lord is Recognized as the Most Powerful Name in the Entire Universe. What ever has a name is Subject to the Name of the Lord (Ephesians 1: 19-22) Angels, Men and Demons bow to this Exalted Name. We have been given Authority to use His Name to cast out demons and heal every Sickness including COVID 19. We Triumph in His Name.We Win in His Name.We Pass our Exams in His Name. We Conquer all our Battles in His Name. We are Protected in His Name.We Succeed in His Name. We Flourish and Prosper in His Name.We Receive Answers to our Prayers in His Name. Beloved, your Protection is not in any of these things:Magical Rings, Chain, Talisman, Beads, Wrist Bands, Leaves,Holy Water, Concortions or Ointiment. Your Protection is in the Name of the Lord. Child of God, your Security is in God for His Name is a Strong Tower (Proverbs 18:10).
