the harvest

READ: Acts 4:23-33..pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Luke 10:2)

There are more than enough souls waiting to be saved. There are not enough buildings to contain the harvest if it were reaped. Unlock the harvest with the key of massive organization. What do I mean by massive organization? Pas- tors must mobilize their church members to have massive organized prayer, massive organized fasting and massive organized outreaches.
How utterly boring it must be if a Christian's life is just listening to a thirty-minute sermon every week. For goodness sake, there must be more to Christianity than being a pew-warmer. Christians will find
satisfaction when they fast and pray for souls. Fasting and prayer is the key that removes scales from a sinner's eyes. When you pray before witnessing, you will have better results. People will be saved! Just like Jesus, you will be anointed when you pray. If you are not prayerful, people will just tell you, "I see your point, but I don't agree with you." All your preaching will be like water dripping off a duck's back!
Do you know why many people do not attend prayer meetings? It is because the pastor himself does not get involved. I'm speaking to pastors now! Mobilize the entire church to pray. Mobilize the entire church to fast. Pray for church growth. Pray for salvation. You will have tremendous results. A pastor's job is not just to preach and teach, but to lead the sheep. You must lead the sheep into outreaches and soul winning. They will be blessed when they have something to do with their spiritual energy.

PERFECT COACH

READ: 2 Peter 1:1-4

Most of us have never asked the Holy Spirit to teach us personally. I constantly pray for God to give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of His Word. I cannot depend solely on sermons I hear. You only retain eleven per cent of what you hear once. If you want to be led into a permanent blessing in this life then you need the Holy Spirit as a teacher. If you want to go far with God and walk into everything that pertains to this life and godliness, then you need the Holy Spirit to be demonstrated as a teacher in your life. Even in the secular world, it is through knowledge that you move into higher positions. Those who are educated rule those who are not educated. The people who know how to make things like aeroplanes, ships and cars, rule the rest of the world. It is a fact of life. At different workplaces, those with a higher education earn much more than those with a lower education. What separates the two? What is the dividing line? It is knowledge. Knowledge sets you apart in this life. The greatest victories that you will ever have will come through knowledge. It is exactly the same with spiritual things. Knowledge puts you in another category. When you know certain things, you will begin to move ahead in life and in ministry. Don't cut yourself off from the teacher. He will be made visible when you apply yourself to the knowledge of God.

DEVOTION

READ: 1 Samuel 26:1-25

(Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? Proverbs 20:6)

One of the cardinal qualifications for a leader is loyalty. You must be loyal to your God, your church, your spouse and your friends. A leader must learn to be loyal to the people who follow him. When it is time to reward your followers, be faithful and do not withhold their blessings. When one of your followers is in trouble, show your loyalty. If you do not betray them in their time of difficulty, they will not betray you in your time of difficulty. Be loyal to your superiors. A leader must be loyal to his superiors. When David had the opportunity to kill Saul, he did not! Many years later, David murdered one of his soldiers called Uriah. Several of his leaders could have revolted and he could have lost his life. However, this did not happen, as his men were loyal to the king's authority. They refused to kill the Lord's anointed because they had learnt it by example. Be loyal to your friends. When David became the king, he realized that his position was a privileged one. He asked for a way to show kindness to an old friend (2 Samuel 9:1). These acts of loyalty to friends demonstrate the true character of a leader. A good character is attractive; people are more inclined to follow someone with a good heart. Be loyal to your spouse. You become a natural leader in society because your domestic affairs are under control. Loyalty to your spouse involves self-control and Christian love. Be a faithful, stable, constant and loyal person.

WHEN YOU PRAY...

Pray that God should deliver you from evil. It is important for you to pray against the evils in this world.

Cover yourself with the blood of Jesus. Apply the blood of Jesus over every part of your home and family.

Place an injunction over every flying witch. Declare that your household is a no-fly-zone for every witch, wizard or evil presence. Cancel every enchantment, spell, charm or lamentation that has been taken up against you.

Declare that you will live and not die. Bind Satan and his agents.

Have faith in God.

Command angelic beings and the forces of Heaven to be on guard around you.

God will keep you as you pray against evil in your life!

during Your Quiet Time
There are times that you will need to have a longer quiet
time. God may minister to you about something. You must be
prepared to study further. This is why it is important to have
a good reference Bible.

Look through the passage again for as many of the following
as possible:
1. What does the passage teach me about the nature of God:
the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit?
2. Is there a promise for me to believe and to claim, taking
careful note of any conditions attached?
3. Is there a command for me to obey, or a good example for
me to follow?
4. Is there a warning for me to heed or a bad example for me
to avoid?
5. Is there a prayer for me to pray or remember?
