THE CHAIRMEN OF THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST
The history of The Church of Pentecost is a history of faith, sacrifice, vision, and committed leadership. Over the years, God has raised different men to lead the Church through different seasons.
From Pastor James McKeown, whose ministry laid a strong foundation, to the present leadership under Apostle Dr. Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, each Chairman has contributed in his own way to the growth and development of the Church.
These leaders did not only occupy an office; they carried a divine responsibility. They led the Church through changing times, faced challenges, made difficult decisions, and continued to keep the mission of spreading the Gospel alive.
Pastor James McKeown represents the foundational years and the pioneering spirit of the Church.
Apostle Fred Stephen Safo served during a period of transition and continued to strengthen the work.
Prophet Martinson K. Yeboah carried the mantle of leadership and contributed to the advancement of the Church.
Apostle Dr. Michael K. Ntumy led with a strong emphasis on spiritual growth, missions, and the expansion of the Church.
Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah brought his own distinctive leadership, with emphasis on discipleship, education, and the development of the Church.
Apostle Dr. Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, the current Chairman, continues to lead the Church with the vision of “Possessing the Nations”, encouraging members to influence society with the Gospel.
Their stories teach us one important lesson:
Leadership is temporary, but the impact of faithful service can live on for generations.
We honour those who have gone before us, appreciate those serving today, and pray that God will continue to raise leaders who will faithfully carry the work forward.
Different Chairmen. Different seasons. One Church. One mission. One Lord.
To God alone be all the glory! 🙏🏽
