4th Sunday of Easter โ Good Shepherd Sunday โจ
On this 4th Sunday of Easter, we are reminded of Christ, the Good Shepherd, who knows His flock, calls each of us by name, and leads us with unwavering love. He does not abandon His sheep in moments of danger but walks with us, protects us, and gently guides us back when we go astray. In Him, we find not only direction but also comfort, assurance, and the promise that we are never alone.
In the homily, Rev. Fr. James, the celebrant, drew our attention to the qualities of a good leader. He emphasized that true leadership is rooted in service, sacrifice, and genuine care for others. A good leader does not seek personal gain but prioritizes the well-being of those entrusted to them. Using Christ as the perfect example, he reminded us that leadership means being present, listening, guiding with humility, and sometimes making sacrifices for the good of others. Christ, our Good Shepherd, leads not by force, but by love and example.
Todayโs Mass was truly uplifting, made even more special by the dedication of the Holy Family NMTC Choir. They didnโt just lead us in song, they animated the entire liturgy. From their powerful and harmonious singing to their active roles in mass serving, proclaiming the Word, and ushering, they brought a unique beauty and unity to the celebration.
Their coordination, passion, and deep sense of commitment were evident in every moment, creating an atmosphere filled with joy, reverence, and spiritual connection.
It was indeed a wonderful and inspiring celebration. ๐๐ฝ๐ซ
