From agriculture to the security of the nation, God can never be left out. Almost everything about the progress of Ghana is linked to the providence of GOD. We cannot therefore, overlook the role of the LORD in the affairs of this land. Overlooking the element of God in this nation can only lead us to a secular nation. But unfortunately a secular nation is mostly plagued with so much uncertainties
, misfortunes, crimes and disasters such as; high crime rates(murder, robbery), drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, diseases, famines, natural disasters among others, which a nation like Ghana would not want to encounter. But from all indications secularism is traced from liberalities in the moral system of any nation and compromises to immoral and sinful attitudes which are supposed to be condemned out rightly. Areas such as the entertainment, advertisement, mass media, and fashion sectors exert negative influences on the moral fabric of any nation. Meanwhile for any nation to become secular is mostly dependent on the negative effects of these sectors. But these same areas of the national system are Left very liberal and unchecked to our liking. The movie, adverts, music video (motion pictures) sector employs blindly copied contents from foreign cultures in their products. Nudity and sexual elements are used as contents of their products which people patronize as means of entertainment. This eventually becomes part of the character of the people through their influences which is seen to be subtle or insignificant. The fashion sector also plays a very major role in the secularization of any nation. The end products of these sectors are the unconscious normalization and acceptance of weird and immoral attitudes such as homosexuality, po*******hy, occultism, abortion, occultism among others in the mental framework of people. These things which are sinful and must be condemned are accepted as normal. Secular states are plagued with these evil attitudes and the noble people in there are fighting to restore their lands back to godliness which is proving very difficult. Fortunately Ghana isn’t there yet though there are glimpses in the system, but if the good people of the land do not stand up, speak and act, things might get out of hands. Therefore, A GOD SEEKING GENERATION a youth based, non denominational, non political organization is aimed at working to prevent and avoid the blessed and Godly nation of Ghana from becoming secularized.
