God Seeking Generation

God Seeking Generation Win Souls and Make Disciples Ghana as a nation is undoubtedly dependent on the providence of God for almost everything.

From agriculture to the security of the nation, God can never be left out. Almost everything about the progress of Ghana is linked to the providence of GOD. We cannot therefore, overlook the role of the LORD in the affairs of this land. Overlooking the element of God in this nation can only lead us to a secular nation. But unfortunately a secular nation is mostly plagued with so much uncertainties

, misfortunes, crimes and disasters such as; high crime rates(murder, robbery), drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, diseases, famines, natural disasters among others, which a nation like Ghana would not want to encounter. But from all indications secularism is traced from liberalities in the moral system of any nation and compromises to immoral and sinful attitudes which are supposed to be condemned out rightly. Areas such as the entertainment, advertisement, mass media, and fashion sectors exert negative influences on the moral fabric of any nation. Meanwhile for any nation to become secular is mostly dependent on the negative effects of these sectors. But these same areas of the national system are Left very liberal and unchecked to our liking. The movie, adverts, music video (motion pictures) sector employs blindly copied contents from foreign cultures in their products. Nudity and sexual elements are used as contents of their products which people patronize as means of entertainment. This eventually becomes part of the character of the people through their influences which is seen to be subtle or insignificant. The fashion sector also plays a very major role in the secularization of any nation. The end products of these sectors are the unconscious normalization and acceptance of weird and immoral attitudes such as homosexuality, po*******hy, occultism, abortion, occultism among others in the mental framework of people. These things which are sinful and must be condemned are accepted as normal. Secular states are plagued with these evil attitudes and the noble people in there are fighting to restore their lands back to godliness which is proving very difficult. Fortunately Ghana isn’t there yet though there are glimpses in the system, but if the good people of the land do not stand up, speak and act, things might get out of hands. Therefore, A GOD SEEKING GENERATION a youth based, non denominational, non political organization is aimed at working to prevent and avoid the blessed and Godly nation of Ghana from becoming secularized. Knowing the Truth

The Son of God, Jesus Christ did not only come by grace, but by truth also. The scripture is clear on this.
‭‭John 1:17 “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” NIV‬‬
We make a big mistake when we embrace the graciousness of Christ and reject the truth He is, and stands for. A coin is valid when it has two sides. The message of Christ is distorted when we only focus on the grace side more. We must emphasize both sides equally because they are both important for our salvation and dominion. Adam fell from all the abundant grace God gave to him because he was deceived from truth to follow falsehood. We will not enjoy grace if we don't know the truth. We will fall away from grace if we don't know the truth.
The truth is the exact reality about God, mankind, salvation, the world, the future etc. Deception is when the truth is tainted to portray a false reality about things.
It takes the truth of God's word to transform a believer into a Son. For this reason we must love, seek, and know the truth.
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‭‭John 8:31-32 NKJV‬‬

Grace Dispensers

Grace is such that it can only be received by the undeserving. Grace is the offer of God's kindness to those who do not qualify for it. It reaches men who are in humble situations and are in dire need of divine help.
The Son of God, Jesus Christ was full of grace when He appeared on earth. His mission statement was a statement of grace. He came to offer grace to the poor, the sinner, the broken hearted, the downtrodden, the captive, the blind and oppressed.
‭‭Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;”
NKJV‬‬
He emphasized that He came to save and not to condemn. As it is written “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” ‭‭John 3:17 NKJV‬‬
This means the sons of God are dispensers of God's grace in the world as Christ was. It is not our duty to accuse and condemn, it is our duty to save, heal, empower, encourage, deliver, liberate, etc.

Grace & Truth

When Jesus' Christ came to the world as the Word who became flesh, the witness and testimony we find in the Bible is that He was full of grace and truth.
‭‭John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”NIV‬‬
When men of discernment looked at the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus, they saw the glory of God shining forth, but the major components of this glory that was beaming out of Him were two major things. Namely, grace and truth. He was full of grace and truth, and out of this fullness all believers have received one gracious blessing to another.
‭‭John 1:16-17 NIV‬‬ “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
He was gracious, loving, kind, very real, sincere and honest in His dealings with men. This is what is expected of us too. We must be full of the grace and truth of Christ. The sons of God should not be cruel and wicked but gracious. We must not be deceptive, dishonest, hypocritical and full of lies. We must speak the truth in love, and offer grace to the downtrodden.

Overcoming the World

The world system is fundamentally not based on the values and principles of God. If it were, Christ would not bring the Kingdom of God to the world. There is a very fierce battle raging between believers and the world's systems. Victory in this area will bring our glory to manifestation. As long as a believer is under the control of the world, he cannot manifest the glory of God. The world's system is akin to God's system. The world's system is centered around lustful pleasures, immorality, greed, vainglory, materialism, flamboyance, money accumulation, selfish ambitions, excesses etc. All these come under the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
As it is written, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.” ‭‭I John 2:15-16 NKJV‬‬
The battle therefore is focused on how the believer would overcome these things on a daily basis. It is a tough battle because these things prey on the weakness of our flesh. The victory of Christ in these areas was why He was such a glorious man. The One sure way of overcoming the world is by loving the Father.

Overcoming the Flesh

The glory of God is deposited inside the the believer. Everything that we need to manifest as the sons of God is found within our innermost being. For these potentials to manifest, we have to deal with the flesh. The flesh can be seen as a scale or a case that is wrapped around these potentials. Until the flesh is dealt with, these potentials will lie dormant inside us. This is why the flesh must be seen as a formidable enemy to our manifestation. The flesh is the old nature that has the propensity to sin. The flesh can only submit to the devil and the dictates of the world. The degree to which we deal with the flesh will determine the degree to which we will manifest glory.
The prescription in the Bible for dealing with the flesh is death and discipline.
‭‭Galatians 5:24 “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” NKJV‬‬
‭‭I Corinthians 9:26-27 “Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. [27] But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” NKJV‬‬
We must see our flesh being crucified on the Cross as Jesus Christ took our place in death. By faith in His death, our flesh also died. From this point of knowledge and faith, we must also live a disciplined Christian live that will keep the flesh dead and buried all the time.

Fighting

It is very clear that warfare surrounds our manifestation as the sons of God. This is the reality that no believer should ignore. We are novices if we have not started seeing the reality of warfare in our lives. True victory in the Christian Life must bring about our transformation and manifestation as the sons of God. This is the ultimate victory of the believer. Any victory that does not cause us to shine forth the great light of the glory of God is an incomplete victory. The ultimate aim of our christian journey is to be like Christ and do His works. It is when we get to this place that we can say that our victory is practically perfect. Since we are not yet there, we must have the mind to fight on until we reach this place.
Meanwhile, one of the most important principles we must apply when fighting is to know who and what we are fighting. We must define the enemies of our manifestation and confront them with diligence, wisdom and power.
“Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.”
‭‭I Corinthians 9:26 NKJV‬‬
We are wasting precious energy when we claim to fight and don't know what we are fighting. The Apostle calls that beating the air. The Bible defines our enemies as the devil (1 Peter 5:8) the world (1 John 2:16) and our flesh (1 Cor. 9:27). These are the targets of our warfare.

False Sons

The Parable of the tares reveals that the good seeds are the sons of the Kingdom. Whiles the tares are the sons of the wicked one.
‭‭Matthew 13:37-38 “‭‭He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.” NKJV‬‬
The wicked one found a way to plant tares among the wheat. The only clear difference between the wheat and the tares is in their fruits. Due to this, trying to remove the bad seeds will cause the removal of the good seeds too. For this reason the LORD insisted that they should not removed the tares immediately, but should wait for the end of the age, when the harvest is fully ripe.
‭‭Matthew 13:41 “The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,”NKJV‬‬
This shows clearly that there are many false sons among the brethren. They look like God's sons but inwardly they are not. These are the hypocrites, deceptive workers, false brethren, false Apostles and Prophets etc. We must make sure that we are genuine sons, and also watch out that we are not deceived by these false brethren.

The Kingdom

When a true son of God enters a place or a territory, he or she will start to influence that environment with the authority, values and culture of the Kingdom of God. This son of God will announce the Kingdom of God at hand in this territory, he will show men how to enter the Kingdom and teach them the ways of the kingdom.
This is exactly what Jesus Christ, the Son of God was doing when he came to the territory of the earth (Matthew 4:17).
He was busy proclaiming the Kingdom, teaching the ways of the Kingdom and demonstrating the power of the kingdom and exemplifying the realities of the kingdom to people.
After working for a few years, He handed this mandate to His disciples to continue.
If a believer calls himself a son of God, and does not bring the influence of the kingdom to people and places then he has lost focus. It was hard for Paul to dwell in a city without bringing the Kingdom of God to some of the people there. The sons of God are supposed to impact every place we find ourselves with Kingdom values and principles. We must not submit to darkness and be distracted from our mandate. We must not compromise on our higher Kingdom standards.

The Dominion of Sons

The earth has been given to the sons of God to rule it and have dominion over all that is in it. This is a realm God has delegated His sons to rule for Him. He expects us to take our place of authority and rule as kings. He will not change His mind on this matter because it is already established by His unchangeable counsel.
‭‭Psalms 115:16 “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.” NKJV‬‬
In most cases God is not responsible when things go bad on this earth. Men (His Sons) have been given the responsibility to make things happen for good on the earth. This is why the creation is eagerly waiting for the manifestation of Sons. If the sons don't rise, there will more choas on this earth.
One reason for the lack of dominion is that we have not fully submitted under the authority of Christ. And because of that, we have not been able to exercise dominion on the earth as we should.
‭‭Hebrews 2:8 “You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”... But now we do not yet see all things put under him.” NKJV‬‬
As we submit fully under the Lordship of Christ, we will be fully equipped to have dominion on the earth.

The Rights of Sons

Being sons of God comes with certain rights and privileges. These Rights and privileges are freedoms, advantages and entitlements that we enjoy because we are citizens of the Kingdom and members of His household.
‭‭Ephesians 2:19 “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” NKJV
One of such privileges is the right to access to God.‬‬
‭‭Ephesians 2:18 “For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.”
We know that not all men can have access to God. Those who are given this advantage are the children of God. Because it is our right, no devil or even Angel can prevent us from coming to God. To have access to God means we can approach Him, abide in Him and enjoy the goodness of His house as captured in ‭‭Psalms 65:4
“Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.” NKJV‬‬.
We must appreciate that these privileges are conferred on us by God's grace through Christ. It is not our own doing but His grace.

A Sharp Arrow

One of the Prophetic writings about the Son of God, described him metaphorically as a sharp arrow hidden in the quiver of God.
‭‭Isaiah 49:2 “He made my words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. I am like a sharp arrow in his quiver.”
As Jesus Christ was being released into ministry on earth, it was just as if a bow had shot an arrow aimed at an enemy target. This is why Jesus was always on point destroying the works of the devil. As a sharp arrow in the quiver and hands of the Father, He was perfectly shot at the targets of darkness on this earth.
This is the same way the sons of God must see ourselves. We must humbly submit ourselves to God to make us into sharp arrows. He does this through the word of God and trials. We are shaped with the sword of the word of God and the knife of trials and afflictions to become sharp arrows that cannot miss the target. We must understand this calling and operate as such. For us to be successful, we must embrace the shaping and sharpening process.

Arrows in God's Hand

The Bible reveals a beautiful picture of how the children of one's youth grow up to become warriors who defend him at old age. Like the arrows in a warrior's hand, so are the children of one's youth.
‭‭Psalms 127:3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.” NKJV‬‬
When a man is surrounded by many children who are warriors, he can have a sound sleep. This is because his children will defend him on the day of battle. The Bible says the children ‘shall speak with their enemies at the gate’. This means the children will take up the fight of their father. They will face the enemy at the gate while their father stays inside the house and issues strategic instructions to them.
This is true with God our Father, He expects His children to grow up and take up His armour and fight the adversary here on earth. We fight by faith, prayer, fasting, Gospel preaching, casting out devils etc.
