Prayers has always been the practice of the ancient people right from the beginning of creation. Almost everyone prays for variety of reasons best known to them. People pray but do not know why they pray, when to pray and how to pray. Some don't even know what prayer is not to talk of the one to whom they should pray to. All these questions will be responded on in this devotions under the topic being discussed.
Prayer, according to the dictionary, Is a practice of communicating with one's God. I will also say, Prayer is a spiritual exercise or practice of conversing with a Supreme Being, a deity, a celestial body or an object of worship. This communication can result into an intimacy between the mortal and the Spirit in question. Humans have spirits in them and therefore has the innate ability to contact every spirit knowingly or unknowingly.
A person can choose to pray to whatever he chooses to serve. Prayer is communicative. Meaning that while the man talks, the Object of worship is supposed to talk back in response to what is asked or said.we shall continue tomorrow on PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT. God bless you.
