THE VALUE OF LISTENING TO AND APPLYING GOD'S WISDOM
Proverbs 25:12
Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold is the rebuke of a wise judge to a listening ear.

REFLECTIONS
Human relations require at least two people. For God’s rare truth and wisdom to remain in the earth, there must be a teacher and a follower.
Are you good at both? Do you obey God’s truth fully? Do you teach it well?

It takes two to make fine jewelry. If a wise reprover corrects and instructs a submissive hearer, a beautiful combination occurs that spreads truth and increases wisdom.
Do you see the beauty? Do you comprehend the power? Are you a good hearer and teacher?

We have opportunities to be obedient hearers, like reading and practicing the read. This is the first half of making beautiful gold jewelry.

We also have opportunities to be wise reprovers, like sharing this and teaching others. This is the second half of making beautiful jewelry.
Do we rejoice at the thought of perpetuating God’s truth and wisdom in the world? What a privilege!

We first must be obedient hearers, so we can acquire the truth and wisdom of God to convey to others. Then we need to apply yourself to be able to teach and defend them from God’s word

A CHEERFUL HEART IS A GOOD MEDICINE

Proverbs 17:22
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

REFLECTIONS
We affect our health by our attitude and spirit. A happy and cheerful spirit will improve our health, but a wounded and negative spirit can ruin it. Do yourself a favor! Consider the wisdom here and choose to be cheerful in the Lord!

They say Recent medical studies confirm this fact taught by Solomon 3000 years ago. Those who laugh and enjoy life will live longer. Now there are sicknesses and body maladies called psychosomatic (psycho = mind; somatic = body) illnesses, where the mind can cause physical health problems in our body.

If we allow envy, bitterness, resentment, or anger in our life, we are begging for the judgment of God and a serious health problems but if we are joyful, loving, thankful, peaceful, forgiving, and full of praise, we will find blessings of God and a therapeutic balm for our body. If we make the Lord the joy of our life, we will have a constant reason to be merry, regardless of circumstances. Our nights will be peaceful and pleasant, because our heart, soul, and mind are relaxed.

The Lord Jesus came to bind up the broken-hearted. What more must He do to bring joy to our heart, a bounce to our step, a glow to our face, and health to our bones? He is a glorious Saviour and Friend, and those who know Him are forever happy. Let us be cheerful!

Blessed Monday Amen!!

Jude 1-2
Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.

REFLECTIONS:
We have been called with a holy calling, a calling not according to our meritorious works, not according to our social status, etc. but according to God's own purpose, grace and mercy.

This call is consistent with God's desire that all men be saved, consistent with God's offer of His Son as a Ransom for all, consistent with the Lord's unwillingness that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance and into to be saved.

For the love of God, for His compassion, we who were sinners, undeserving His mercy, grace and love, He has lavished His love on us.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!...

Mercy, peace and love be ours in abundance as we continue strive to live in accordance with His word.

Blessed Wednesday Amen!!

THE LORD WATCHES OVER THE RIGHTEOUS' WAY

Psalm 1:6
For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

REFLECTIONS
Although the Lord Jesus is truly God, He is also fully Man, Who has walked His own earthly pathway and understands the difficulties and dangers of living on this earth in a body of flesh and blood.

In His earthly walk we see Him weary and worn, He became tired and alone, He was wrongly accused and misunderstood, tempted and tried just as we are.. yet without sin.

We see the Lord Jesus suffering and condemned by evil men. We hear He was betrayed and deserted by His closest friends... yet we are comforted to know He is our Kinsman-Redeemer, Who knows the way we take and is our ever present help in time of trouble.

The Lord Jesus is a fitting companion to accompany and watches each one of us, as we journey through the ups and downs of this fallen world - for He knows and understands all the circumstances that can cast a shadow across our Christian walk or cause us to become weary or distressed.

The Lord is fully aware of the lifestyle of His righteous people as well as the lifestyle of the wicked, so His judgment will be just. The Lord will sentence the wicked to eternal perdition.
Praise God that Jesus knows the way of the righteous and He watches their path. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. He has purposed to draw us ever closer to Himself.

Blessed Monday Amen!!

LET THE WORD OF LIGHT IMPART

Psalm 119:130
The unfolding of your Word into our hearts gives perfect light; Your precious Word gives understanding to the simple.

REFLECTIONS
We all have the same access to the same source of truth. His perfection is not dimmed and His truth is not lacking, unless we choose not to search the scriptures daily!

We are called to walk in the light as He is the light, He is in the light, and in so doing He draws us deeper and deeper into the mysteries of His love. He opens our understanding to the shining truth concerning Himself.

He corrects our awareness of the shocking truth relating to ourselves! When His truth shows us our error, we must accept His Truth. When His light reveals in us our darkness, we must renounce its blackness and walk back into His marvellous Light.

Cleansing Word
When we walk in the light of His Word, we commune with Him, we walk in the light, we fellowship with Him and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

Guiding Word
The light of His truth generally comes from His Word, His Word, which God has magnified above all His name. His Word – which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

The importance of daily, prayerful reading the Scriptures is that the Word is God’s tool for instructing us in His ways and precepts and truth. The Word is God’s instrument for correcting our walk and cleansing our heart. His Word is God guiding our consciences and developing our understanding. His Word is God’s rod for correcting our ways, and guiding our lives.

Blessed Saturday Amen!!

BE STRONG AND WORK
Haggai 2:4
But now be strong, Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD. Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land, declares the LORD, and work. For I am with you, declares the LORD Almighty.

REFLECTIONS:
Haggai and Zechariah urged that the work of rebuilding the temple should be renewed. The ever-recurring plan which they urged on the people was that they should work because the Lord of hosts was with them.

Religion has become a more personal matter. Its sphere has been shifted from temples made with hands to what is called the upright heart and pure. Religion has been shifted from the outward to the inward realm. "The kingdom of God is within us."

Then the work was hard, but it only tired the hand. Now the heart and the mind, rather than the hand, needs to be engaged. The highest things cannot be weighed in scales and set down in columns.

We must be people of Prayer, Bible study, and Worship but eventually, we must get out and do what God has set in mind for us. God has given us a job to do at home, workplace, in the church, community, etc. The Time Has Come For Us To Be Strong and Work Because God is With Us

Blessed Friday Amen!!
