CPCI MORNING DEVOTION
THEME: Revival
TEXT: Haggai 1:14

Haggai 1:14 KJV And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

There is a point when we need to get beyond mere self-examination, a time when we need to stop talking about our problems and take concrete steps to change. We are like the people in Haggai's day who already knew God's will for them, that is they were to re- build God's Temple. They just needed to act on their knowledge. Later on, we see that they finally took concrete steps to complete the task God had given them. As we honestly reflect on our lives, we will become aware of the things we need to change, and we will have a good idea of what we should do. When we reach this point, it is time to take responsibility for what we have done and ask for forgiveness. We need to take concrete, active steps to make real spiritual progress.

Action point: Be a solution to problems around you.

Prayer points:
1. Revival in the church.
2. Grace to do God's will.

Revival always brings the needed change. Have a successful day.

CPCI MORNING DEVOTION
THEME: Be glad in the Lord.
TEXT: Psalms 32:11

Psalms 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

The end product of a righteous life is always gladness. Striving to attain righteousness in this sinful world is sometimes difficult but the truth is that righteous life style always brings one to a place of gladness. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but the upright in heart shall rejoice before the Lord. Living in righteousness will not be easy but that is what can bring us true happiness in this life. Gladness and joy always come from living a righteous life and they are genuine and everlasting. Being upright in heart will always bring you a life that is full of joy. When we are in right standing with Jesus, our life is always a reflection of God's glory; there is joy and gladness in our lives.

Action point: Live with a clean heart and mind.

Prayer points:
1. Holy Spirit should help you to be upright in heart.
2. The oil of gladness upon your life.

Upright in heart is the road to gladness. Have a glorious day.

CPCI MORNING DEVOTION
THEME: Work the works of Him that sent you.
TEXT: John 9:4

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. This is the word of the LORD to Jeremiah. Before we were formed in our mother’s womb God knew us and has fashioned us for His work. This is why it is very important that we work the works of God while we are alive here on this earth. There is no way we can work the works of God when we are dead. Doing the works of God is to live the word of God. We must live our lives according to God's word while we are alive, there is no repentance beyond the grave. We must do the will of God while we are alive, we can't do God's will in our grave. It is God who sent us here on this earth, therefore, we must do everything to live for Him.

Action point: Find something to do in the house of God.

Prayer points:
1. Grace to do God's will.
2. Guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Doing the works of God is our divine mandate. Have a great day.
