HOW SHALL WE STAND?

You are welcome to another edition of a sermon from the word of God. A media ministry which touches on all aspects of human life; spiritual, social, emotional, physical, financial and others.

Brethren, I greet you in the name of Jesus. Offer a word of prayer before you read the sermon.

Today we look at a sermon “HOW SHALL WE STAND?” May God speak to our spirits and minds as we read this sermon. Amen!!!!!!!

How shall we stand if the National Anthem of your country is sung? How shall we stand before the Kings and Princes to defend our faith? How can we stand at the Law Courts to plead how guilty we are of a crime? How can we stand before the world and fight for the right cause? A day is coming when all the people of the world need to stand? How can we stand that very great day? This day would not be a day before Kings, Princes, Judges, Politicians or High Profile people but we will stand before JEHOVAH; our maker and King.

How shall we stand in that great day?How shall we stand in that great day? Shall we be found before Him wanting?
Or with our sins all washed away?
The judgment will be set and the books would be opened. How shall we stand in that great day? When every thought, and word, and action shall be weighed by God, the Righteous Judge.
Every person shall give account of his or her own life. How shall I stand before that very great day? The things I did in secret would be laid bare before me. As light and darkness has no path to cross, so shall all my deeds in darkness would be shown. The world may not know my sins but the books of heaven have recorded them. That day there shall be no lawyer for me.
How shall I stand that day alone?
How shall I stand in that great day?
How shall I stand in that great day?
Shall I be found before Him wanting?
Or with my sins all washed away?

The work is begun with those who are sleeping. Soon will the living here be tried. Out of the books of God’s remembrance, His decision to abide.

As my case is decided so shall yours also be decided? How shall you stand that very great day? No pastor or elder can stand for you. Your families and loved ones have no part to play for you in that day. You shall stand alone that very great day. All concealed sins would be opened. The sins of the mind would also be accounted for. How can you stand that very great day? How shall you stand in that great day? How shall you stand in that great day? Shall you be found before Him wanting?
Or with your sins all washed away?

O, how shall we stand that moment of searching? When all our sins those books reveal? When from that court, each case decided, Shall be granted no appeal?

My friends we can only stand that very great day when we do away with the world. Our world now has nothing to offer us. Let us follow Christ wherever he goes so that we can stand that day.

A PARADIGM SHIFT IN RELATIONSHIP

Our world today is moving very fast. Innovation and technological advancement is the order of the day. Hardly do we recognize that " TECHNOLOGY IS A POTENTIAL THREAT TO RELATIONSHIP".

Social media has changed the face of culture on a worldwide basis. Facebook,Twitter, Whatsapp,Viber,Instagram, and a variety of these gadgets make people to get in contact with people. They are really helping today but there is more to it.
1. Friends who meet at restaurant prefer updating their status rather than spending time with people around them.
2. Old friends who meet after 10 years prefer exchanging contacts so as to chat rather spending time to talk about their past, present and future lives.
3. Spend less time with families, friends and loved ones around us than people we hardly know.
4. Sending pictures to people who care less about us; forgetting to take pictures with families around us.
5. Taking pictures of accident casualties, poor and needy so as to share with friends at the expense of offering helping hands to them.
6. We seldom say good morning to people around us; whereas we say hi to 100s of people away from us.
7. So easy to say "I LOVE U" on social media than face to face
8. Spouses even wish people far away good night forgetting his or her spouse on bed.
9. Personal privacy is shared on social media but we prefer to keep secrets from people around us.
10. Good news are now broken on social media rather than telling people who are around us.

The world now cares so much for people far away than people around us. This has caused the collapse of so many family ties, friendships and even some marriages.

Can you do away with social media for 2 hrs?
How much time do you spend on social media than people around you?
Is it the first and last thing you start and end your day with?

Answer for yourself and try to make some changes. May God help us. Amenn!!!!!!!
