Bible Passage: Psalm 121:1-2

God is a helper to those who comes to seek Him for He is the ever present help in times of need.
▪️If you lean on Him and not on your own understanding, He will always lead you into the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
▪️Let us learn to seek God's help in all our ways for He makes no mistake when He comes to help us in any pursuit.
▪️ Beloved, make it a normal lifestyle to seek God's help in everything and you will not be disappointed.

Do not depend on anything created but rather depend on the Creator of everything.

Lord, grant me the grace to trust in You with all my heart always. AMEN

Bible Passage: Joshua 1:7-8

For Joshua to become great, the first ingredient God told him he needed is courage and the second is to stay connected to His Word.
▪️In order for us to be successful and prosper, we shouldn't neglect the Word of God but to live in the Word always.
▪️God says, "Observe the Word, do it, speak it, keep it, don't turn from it, and you will be successful wherever you go".
▪️Let us not turn away from the Word, holding fast to it, and doing what it says and we will surely have good success to the glory of God.

All things work together for good to those that love the Lord and trust His Word.

Lord, help me not to take Your Word for granted, but to obey it at all times. AMEN

Today's passage which is refer to as the "Golden Rule" summarizes Jesus teaching about how to treat others and it is the foundation of active goodness and mercy towards others.
▪️The Christian life is not just about your personal relationship with God, but about how you relate and treat other people as well.
▪️Thus if you desire to be treated well by others, then you are to do same to others.
▪️We are not here to live for ourselves, but to bless others in the name of Jesus.
▪️Let us think of good and merciful actions we can do for others always.

Don't think only about your own affairs, but be concerned about the welfare of others.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, help me to take delight in doing good to others.

Bible Passage: Psalm 56:3-4

When fear arises, the devil wants you to coil back and stop moving forward.
▪️ God wants us to focus on Him and put our trust in Him. He is our "shield and strong tower, the righteous run into Him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10).
▪️We face situations in life that try to put us down but remember it is only our trust in God that can cause us to stand and move forward.
▪️ Stop reacting negatively to fear, rather let faith and trust arise and know that God will always be with you and uphold you into victory.

Knock out fear with a trust in God.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, strengthen my confidence and trust in you at all times when I become afraid.

Bible Passage: Ephesians 5:1-2

God is pleased when we try to become like Him rather than becoming like what we think we should be.
▪️If we are the children of God, then we are also called to walk in love since "God is love" (1 John 4:8)
▪️ When the world sees us, they ought to see the love of God being demonstrated in us.
▪️ True love will compel us to be kind, forgiving, tolerant, temperate, peaceful etc.
▪️Let us imitate God in all His ways and so win many people for Jesus.

Just as children imitate their parents, the child of God is to follow God's example by walking in love.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, help me to show love to all people that comes into contact with me.

Bible Passage: Proverbs 23:24-26

It is of utmost importance for all parents especially fathers to be mindful of the kind of training we give to our children so that they become a delight.
▪️ We need to walk in righteousness to be able to have the right mindset to impart into our offspring.
▪️ The seed of godly parenting will always have its resultant effect in children and bring joy to fathers.
▪️It is always a pleasure to see your biological children as well as spiritual children walk in righteous ways and cause joy in the family.
▪️May the Lord cause children with godly parents to walk in the fear of the Lord.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, help our children to remain in Christ Jesus all the days of their life.

Bible Passage: Romans 3:23-24

Man fell short of the glory of God ever since the first man, Adam sinned in the garden of Eden.
▪️ However, through our faith in Christ Jesus, God has declared us not guilty.
▪️ When a judge in a court of law declares an accused person not guilty, all the charges are removed from his/her record. Legally, it is as if the person had never been accused.
▪️ When God forgives us our sins, our record of sin is wiped clean. It is as though we had never sinned.
▪️ Since we have been justified freely by God's grace, we are to walk in newness of life and righteousness before our Lord God.
▶️ WORDS OF WISDOM
Christ set sinners free from the bo***ge of sin expecting them not to live in sin anymore.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord God, grant me the grace not to live a sinful lifestyle. Amen!

Bible Passage: Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

We are on this earth not to enjoy ourselves, please ourselves or to amass riches but we are here to know God, fear Him and keep His commandments.
▪️If we are not fearing God and keeping His commands, we are missing the whole point of our existence.
▪️To fear God means we must honor and respect Him by putting Him first in our lives and submitting to His authority.
▪️We are to be mindful of the fact that all people will have to stand before God and be judged for what we have done in this life.
▪️Are you ready to stand before God in judgment? Let us fear God by hating what is evil (Proverbs 8:13), obey Him and do the things that pleases Him.
▶️ WORDS OF WISDOM
Fearing God and obeying Him attracts blessings.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, help me to live a life that is worthy of my calling as Your child.

Bible Passage: Romans 8:5-8

The apostle Paul divides people into two categories: those who let themselves to be controlled by their sinful nature and those who follow after the Holy Spirit.
▪️ Those without Christ are in the first category and their end is death.
▪️ Once we placed our faith in Christ we become spiritually minded and we want to continue to follow Him because His way brings life and peace.
▪️ Let us allow the Holy Spirit to control our minds so as to produce life and peace and become a blessing to ourselves and all those around us.
▶️ WORDS OF WISDOM
The spiritual minded person directs their minds to feed on God's Word and things that pleases Him.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, help me to always walk with You by faith, never by sight.

Bible Passage: Exodus 14:15

Trapped against the sea, the Israelites cried to the Lord when they saw the Egyptian army chasing them.
▪️ But when Moses went to God, He told them to move on.
▪️ Anytime, we are faced with troubles, the usual thing is to cry out and seek for help to come to us.
▪️ Though, there is nothing wrong with crying out for help, God does not want us to sit idle and cry helplessly.
▪️ God requires us to take a step of faith and move forward in spite of all our troubles because He is always with us.
▪️In any helpless situation we may encounter, don't give up, move on for God has promised to be with us in difficult situations (Isaiah 43:2).

Our faith in God must always move us into action.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Lord, thank You that You are with me in all my troubles; help me to move ahead in faith during difficult situations.

The Bible encourages us to be anxious for nothing but in everything with prayer and supplication, we bring our requests unto God.
▪️We must desire to hear the encouraging words of God because they are life to our souls and will build us up into stronger Christians.
▪️ Focusing on a good word from the Lord will keep you away from depression.
▪️Let us always look to the brighter side of life and align with what God says about us than what the world and our circumstances says.

The antidote to anxiety and depression is a good Word of God.
▶️ PRAYER POINT
Pray that you will live to glorify God at all times.
