True knowledge is when your ideas are consistent with the ideas of God. Therefore, if one's knowledge is not consistent with the ideas of God, that cannot be said to be knowledge.

Ask yourself if what you call acquired knowledge is consistent with that of God.

Tuesday Devotional Message

Topic: Miracles Are For Repentance
Text: Acts 9:32-43

It is so sad that people think miracles are showmanship. Some even brag about them. Throughout the entire Bible, genuine men and women of God never bragged about the miracles God performed through them. Elijah and the prophets of Baal and the fire from heaven was not showmanship but was to determine the true God and turn the people of Israel to repentance. What do we see today, people brag about the miracles or the fake miracles they have performed taking away the most important aspect of the miracle. How many people have they repented from their so called miracles.

Let us ponder on these points:

1. All miracles are from Jesus Christ- Peter told Aeneas that Jesus Christ heals you, meaning, he knew where the miracle was going to come from. Today, some claim to be the most powerful calling people to come for miracles. Hmmm

2. Miracles are not showmanship - Peter sent all the people out before he prayed for Dorcas to come back to life. What is this performance we see today in some places?

3. Our act of goodness is also a key for God's favour - Dorcas was doing good by helping the needy and the poor. Let us do good by reaching out to those in need and people who come to seek assistance from us.

Let us not run after miracles, miracles will chase after us if remain in God. Stay blessed and remain focused

*Thursday Devotional Message*

Topic: THE END OF AGE - PART 3
Text: Matthew 24:23-31

Beginnings are not as important as the end. A lot of people started well but along the line, their end was worse. In Christianity or the Christiandom, your beginning is important but your completion or the conclusion of your life is the vital and the most important.
Let's reflect on these:

1. We are warn ahead of time so not to be deceived - False prophets are abound performing signs and wonders to deceive many and their main target is to deceive the elect.

2. Christians need to be observant concerning the cosmic - The sun, moon are obvious elements to denote Christ's return.

3. The appearance of Christ will be visible for all to see - Christ's return is not a secret event that one must be told He is here or there.

4. People will mourn seeing Christ's appearance - They didn't belief the message preached to them like the days of Noah.

5. The elect will be gathered - Those who waited on the LORD will be saved. These things will culminate with the appearance of Christ
(A) God's conquest of the wicked one, the anti-Christ, Satan
(B) The separation and judgement of people alive on earth when Christ returns.
(C) The gathering of God's people from all time, including those in heaven and on earth.
(D) Christ's thousand year reign on earth.

There are a lot of unfoldings going to take place. Christians must be abreast with the changing times.

*Today's Devotional* *Tuesday*
*TOPIC*: THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED
*TEXT*: PSALM 1:1-6

There are always two kinds of people living in this world. There are two spiritual forces in operation. There are two and cannot be three. In this passage we shall ponder on two kinds of characters or behaviours that either brings blessings or judgement.

1. The man that is blessed
(A) Those who love God will do what His Word says is right and disassociate themselves from beliefs and behaviours that may be common in the world but offensive to God (vv 1-2)

(B) The righteous man loves the Word of God and keeps them in his heart. They love meditating and living according to God's Word.

(C) Those who faithfully pursue a deeper relationship with and a better understanding of His Word will find guidance from the Holy Spirit. They will receive spiritual refreshment and life empowerment from the Spirit of God. They will know God's purpose, receive His peace, experience His presence and accomplish God's purpose and plan for their lives.

2. The way of the wicked
(A) They follow and celebrate beliefs, behaviour and lifestyles that defy God and reject God's Word

(B) They are like "chaff" blown away by forces they cannot see

(C) They will be condemned on the judgement day

(D) They will perish for eternity

Wickedness goes with destruction and evokes the wrath of God. The righteous rather are blessed and enjoy the wonderful experience of God's presence and divine providence.

*Today's Devotion*
1 Timothy 1:12-20

The following are some observation to ponder on
1. The Lord Jesus Christ has considered us as worthy and has given us strength. For He has appointed us as faithful in His service.
Remember God is not counting on you your sins again when you received Christ Jesus into your life.
2. God showed His mercy on us because we acted in ignorance. Some of the things we did, we did because we were ignorant of those acts.
3. For we can confidently believe and trust in this - Jesus Christ came to save sinners. Jesus said, I came to save sinners not the righteous.
4. We are to fight the good fight of faith. That which we believe and have received, we are to remain steadfast in it.
5. When we reject Christ, we are like shipwreck. It's either we are beyond repairs or God shows us mercy again.

Let's not take for granted the grace of God.

Message

TO SEE GOD'S GLORY, BELIEVE
John 11:40
Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?"

Many people are not seeing God's glory due to the fact that they do not believe. The problem or what they are going through to them seems beyond God. They see the situation as a hopeless one.
Martha the sister to the dead Lazarus said to Jesus, Lazarus had been in the tomb for four (4) days and that the odour coming from the tomb might be powerful to prevent Jesus from entering. Her limitations to believe blocked her from seeing the Resurrection and the Life before her very eyes.
Our problems and the troubles we face sometimes gives us reasons that all hope is lost. But when we look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we see the possibilities of coming out from our predicament.
Believe and see God's glory.

1 Chronicles 11:1-25

David the king had men that were devoted and committed to him. Some risked their lives to bring him what he desired.

How determined are you in risking your life for Jesus Christ. If men would sacrifice their lives to please a human king. How willing are we for the divine King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Jesus said if anyone wants to be my disciple, the fellow must deny himself and pick up his cross and follow me. Denial is disliking what you like and liking what you dislike for the course of Christ.

I could have been dead, sleeping in my grave but God blessed me to see another day. Even when I go wrong, He was still there. God hears a sinners prayer.
We have come to a point that we need to bring up, encourage, lift up a brother or sister from sins than rather looking at them with disdain and disguised look. When we do this instead of encouraging and lifting them, they rather fall deep into their sins and they become worse. We all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. It took the grace of God to rescue us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.
We never did it on our own, but God did it. If a brother or sister is weak, let's help him or her to maturity. We are all in the body of Christ to help each other that is why we have different parts but of the same body. God bless you as you try lifting a brother up in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We each other in this journey. God bless you for helping a brother or a sister. Amen.
