CONGRATULATIONS REV. WE ARE MORE THAN PROUD OF YOU
Joseph Stephen Sarpong has over 5 years’ worth of experience in the Agricultural industry. Currently, Joseph is an Extension Officer at the GHANA COCOBOD, focusing on climate-smart cocoa production. He is committed to sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and strives to impact and transform the lives of the farmers he works with. Joseph over the years has also championed youth in leadership programs, and mentorship and is an advocate for women's empowerment, child and forced labour in rural farming communities.
He is an old student of Opoku Ware School and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds a bachelor of science degree in Agricultural Engineering, MPhil Soil and Water Engineering, and MSc Environmental Resource Management.
Beyond the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Joseph hopes to return home to champion community development, advocacy, and volunteerism.
