*Develop Skill and Interest in Soul Winning*
Soul winning is the fruit and natural response of a soul that has become one with God. To be gainfully engaged in soul winning there are certain skills that must be learnt by the Christian. He must make intentional moves to acquire these skills because the methods in soul winning differ from place to place and person to person. The skills needed to win a young person or an elderly person might not be the same. In the same way winning a Muslim and a non-Muslim will not be the same. You need different skills and methodology. Some skills are one on one or personal evangelism, and mass evangelism. Apart from learning or developing the skills the Christian must have the interest to win souls. When the interest is not there in the individual there would be no urge to embark on this very business. Based on the mandate from Christ Jesus it could be said that this interest is not optional but obligatory.

*Discover the Need*
Jesus is not the Savior of just a certain nation or race, nor of a certain group predetermined unconditionally before the world began. Rather, He offers salvation to everyone in the world, because everyone needs it. All people eventually commit sin (Rom. 3:23) because sin is the result of the absence of the presence and power of God. Sin actually is a separation from the life of God and sets people into eternal punishment. This is the reason why people need to receive salvation which has been made available in Christ Jesus. Heb. 7:25 provides that "Jesus is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him". Once we know that Christ Jesus gave the Christian community the mandate to make this known in all nations we have then discovered the need to win souls.
