Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not God of the dead, but the living " Matthew 22:29, 31-32.
Yes, you and I shall live again after this life. The only question and the all-important one is whether that existence will be a happy one, or God forbid, will it be a consciousness of lost opportunity we had during our lifetime on earth?

IS THERE LIFE AFTER DEATH?
"If a man die shall he live again?" mankind has questioned: Where did we come from? Where are we going? what's is a man's destination? if man does live again, what will life be like?
There is something within the human heart -- an instinctive longing for immortality. There is something within him that says that death and the grave are not the end. Indeed there is scarcely a people in the world that do not have some kind of belief in life after death.
Man is the highest order of all the creatures that live on the face of the earth, although even the lowly animal kingdom possesses instincts that are remarkable. For example, place a carrier pigeon in a sealed box and transport it to a point miles away where it has never been before. As soon as the pigeon is released, what happens? The bird will rise in the air , circle a few times to get it's bearings, and then takeoff on a direct line for home. Soon it will be back at it's very starting place.
Now is it possible that the instinct within the carrier pigeon leads it safely to it's home, while the instinct within man that would lead him to God and his heavenly home plays him false? How much more is a man worth than a bird? That was what Jesus said when He spoke of the sparrows.
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." (Matthew 10:29-31)NIV.
Nature teaches that there's life after death. A grain of wheat falls to the ground, seemingly only to perish . But no, nature has reserved a miracle. Out of death comes life! The grain of wheat that died not only receives life, but reproduces itself many times. Surely man is worth more than a grain of wheat!
Jesus plainly taught there's life after death. When the Sadducees denied that there was a resurrection He said, " Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of

*Steps to Salvation - Acknowledge that :*

1. All (including you) have sinnlned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23).

2. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life (Romans 6:23).

3. God gave His son, Jesus Christ to be crucified for our sins. He resurrected to give us new life (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 17).

4. Whoever shall confess and accept Jesus into their heart and call upon Him (Jesus Christ) shall be saved (Romans 10:9-10).

5. There is therefore no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Beloved, Jesus Christ is the giver of Life. He is the only one to give you rest.Forget about your problems and come to Him and your life will never be the same.....✅

When Jesus was descending, he urged us to go into the world and make them disciples of him. How can we do what Jesus commissioned us to do, *by praying, fasting and meditating the word of God* we are supposed to win more souls for Jesus and he will bless us... My dear brother or sister please preach the salvation message to the lost. Amen

JESUS encourages us to pray because God , like a father, is overjoyed to meet the needs and request of a loving child . we should know that no prayer or request made in Jesus name, no praise rendered in Jesus name is lost. It is all heard by God and we have to have faith that God ll answer it in his own time....

A BRIEF HISTORY OF COP

As we celebrate this year's Missions Week, it will be appropriate to remember the sacrificial work of the McKeowns in brief.

Exactly 80 years now since Reverend James McKeown (12 September 1900 – 4 May 1989), an Irish missionary who spent considerable time in the Gold Coast, now Ghana. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Church of Pentecost, the church with the biggest denomination in Ghana and which has 91 branches all over the world.

Personal Life

James McKeown was born at Ballymena in Northern Ireland to Irish parents, William John Mckeown and Elizabeth Thompson. He left school at the age of 11. He helped his father on the farm and later became a tram driver. He got converted to Pentecostalism in 1919 through the work of Rev. Robert Mercer and Rev. George Jeffreys of the Elim Foursquare Gospel Alliance. In 1927, James McKeown got married to Sophia Kennock. Sophia later said she got attracted to James because of his praying habit. Noting that she never saw anyone who prayed like James. James and Sophia McKeown did not have any children

James McKeown arrived in the Gold Coast on March 4, 1937[2] to begin missionary work as the resident missionary of the Apostolic Church of Bradford after having left the United Kingdom for the then Gold Coast on a boat in February 1937. He had delayed the decision to become a missionary for 15 months after a prophecy had been made that he would go to West Africa on Missionary duty. He had initially refused to become a missionary owing chiefly to his inadequate formal training. He settled in Asamankese and begun his missionary work there. His wife Sophia joined him in the Gold Coast in September 1937. After he had been able to establish the Apostolic Church in the Gold Coast, James McKeown fell out with the Church for having been taken to the Ridge Hospital in Accra for medical attention. In 1953 another crisis arose which saw a large section of the Christ Apostolic Church following Pastor James McKeown to form the Gold Coast Apostolic Church. This eventually culminated in the founding of the Church of Pentecost after Ghana's first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah advised for a change of name so as to settle disputes that arose as a result of its break away.

In early 1982, James McKeown handed over leadership of the Church to a Ghanaian, Rev. F. S. Safo, and inducted him into office in October 1982 after which left Ghana. He paid his last visit to the West African country in 1984.

His wife Sophia died on January 27, 1983. James died on May 4, 1989, at his home in Ballymena, Northern Ireland.
