FOR A LITTLE WHILE
1 Peter 5:10
In 2 Corinthians 11:23–28, Paul endured imprisonment, beatings, danger, hunger, and many trials for Christ.

In 1 Peter 4:14, Peter reminds us that even when we suffer for Christ, we are blessed.

But the suffering is only “for a little while.”
God Himself will restore, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Your suffering is temporary, but His glory is eternal.

WHO AM I LISTENING TO?
Matthew 26:20–25, Matthew 26:31–35, Matthew 26:45–46.

Listening brings strength, stability, and security.

In Matthew 26:20–25, we see that Jesus spoke the truth about what would happen.
In Matthew 26:31–35, Jesus again spoke the truth, but Peter trusted what he thought he could do.
Then in Matthew 26:45–46, Jesus knew the truth of what was before Him, and He was ready.

There is a Spirit to listen to for the truth, because it is the Spirit of Truth.
There is a Spirit to listen to, to be taught the truth.
There is a Spirit to listen to, to trust the truth.

In these passages, Jesus spoke the truth, taught the truth, and prepared His disciples for what was ahead. The question is not only whether we are listening, but who we are listening to.

Because what we listen to will determine what we believe, what we trust, and how we stand.

LET US BE GOING — Matthew 26:36–46
Jesus is calling us that it is time not to be indifferent. It is time to move away from the enclosed area and from our weak and vulnerable state.

As we go, we have a God to Please, a God to Love, and a God to Glorify.
Therefore, we have a Rule to fulfill, a Righteousness to maintain, and a Reign to honour.

Jesus’ prayer in Luke 22:39–46 shows that transformation is manifested through four key areas:

-Connection – Prayer: keeps us focused, dependent, and keeps our hearts for people.
-Confidence – His Spirit: gives us assurance, ability, and strength to abide.
-Conviction – God’s Will: calls us to openness, obedience, and oneness with God.
-Commitment – Faithfulness: leads to favour, fruitfulness, and fulfilment.

Prayer connects us to God, strengthens us to obey His will, and enables us to rise and fulfil His purpose.

True transformation is not merely something we experience inwardly; it becomes evident in how we pray, depend on God, obey His will, and remain faithful to His purpose. Jesus rose from prayer strengthened to fulfil His assignment, showing us that prayer prepares and empowers us to manifest God’s will in our lives.

God Is Enlarging, Equipping & Expanding Us Through Praise and Worship.
“I will declare Your name to My brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will praise You.” Psalm 22:22

“ For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying: 'I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.” Hebrews 2:11–12

There is something powerful that happens when we lift our voices in praise and worship. God uses our worship to enlarge our capacity, equip us for His purpose, and expand our influence for His Kingdom.

Our worship is not just a response to what God has done, it is also preparation for what He is about to do.
