in our desperation to know God as youth, one core motive for making our relationship with God effective, is to abstain s*x before marriage.

know that, it’s a decision starting from the mind, whether to abstain or not.

nonetheless, the Bible instructs us to flee fornication/s*xual immorality [1 Corinthians 6:18]. in whatsoever decision you’re making, it has to be in-line with what’s in His Word.

not forgetting this, our bodies are God’s Temple [Romans 12:1]. we must keep it clean just by staying chaste, substituting s*xual pleasures with the Word of God and prayer, and fleeing fornication as we perceive greatness, holiness and a better relationship with God.

it’s my prayer and wish, that we stay chaste and flee fornication for the Lord even as we wait until marriage.
