If it had not been God on our side let Isreal say; indeed if it had not been God on our side, let Hype Jesus say. Never can we lay aside the grace and mercy of the Lord - He began actively with us in 2016, as He worked His ways with us at the Opoku Ware School and led us on to the SOS Children's Home. To all of you who have been part of this family, thank you and God bless you for your labour of love; in prayer, financial support, advice, encouragement, with your strength, etc. For he that waters will himself be watered. May you in 2017 be a blessed one. May you always count the goodness of God day in and day out. It's another year (2017) of impaction even as the world awaits our manifestation. We are doing it bigger, better and greater to the glory of the Lord. Gird up your loins and don't be left out. Note one thing beloved, look back and you will know He is faithful and have faith, He's able us we move ahead .

A Prosperous 2017

Ephesians 5:11-12 "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret."

It absolutely saddens and disgusts me by the amount of fake Christians in Christianity. They’re rebellious towards the Word of God and when someone rebukes them they say, “thou shall not judge.”First, that verse is talking about hypocritical judging. Second, if you live a continuous sinful lifestyle you’re not a true Christian because you’re supposed to be a new creation. Most men of God have wrongly preached the message of grace.

People don’t like their evil exposed and people don’t like you exposing anyone else so you don’t expose them but the bible states in Psalm 94:16 ;Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against those who practice iniquity?
These so-called believers today will go against God’s Word and stand up for the devil and fight against God by condoning and supporting wickedness.Worldly Christians are always more worried about those exposing evil than the evil being exposed.

You are to hate everything that God hates. Every biblical leader stood up against evil and many even lost their lives for speaking against it. There is a reason Jesus says true believers will be hated and persecuted. If you desire to live a godly life you will be persecuted and there is no way around it. That is why many believers stay quiet whenever they’re on the hot seat they hush up in fear of man. Jesus spoke up, Stephen spoke up, Paul spoke up so why are we quiet? We must not be afraid to rebuke others.

The Holy Spirit will convict the world of its sins. If we stop defending Christianity, exposing evil, rebuking false teachers, and confronting believers we will have more people lost and led astray.
When you remain quiet then you start joining wickedness and remember God is not mocked[ Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.]

The person who truly loves Christ is the one who’s going to stand up for Christ no matter if we lose friends, family, or if the world hates us.

FALLING

“I was pushed hard, so that I was falling, but the LORD helped me. The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” Psalm 118:13-14

God is always working in the lives of Christians. He is faithful. When His children fall He will pick them up and dust them off. He will never forsake His faithful ones and with His mighty right hand He will hold you. He knows what you need, He knows what you’re going through, and He knows your pain. Commit to Him, continue to live by His Word, hold on to God’s promises in your heart and know that in all situations He will help you and with Him you will overcome.

I have lived and realized that people who fall the hardest, bounce back the highest. The bible states it clearly in Proverbs 24:16: “for though a righteous man falls seven times, he will rise again, but the wicked stumble into calamity”. Again the lord confirms His word saying in Psalm 37:23-24: "The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand."

It is very wrong to fall and never rise back on your feet. Yes! They will criticize you but don’t forget that they are not your God. “Psalm 20:8: Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm.”, This verse indicates that the lord never wants us giving up but rather pressing on. For He will help you out ,you can’t just depend on your own strength [2 Samuel 22:37 You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping]. I know its not easy when you feel so bad about the wrong you did yet you keep repeating it.

The lord promises to help us out but that does not give us the license to keep doing wrong[ Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee]. Many Christians are excited when their enemies fall which is a very bad habit [ Proverbs 24:17 Don’t gloat when your enemy falls, and don’t let your heart rejoice when he stumbles]. Lets pray for those that are weak and never give up on our walk with CHRIST.

Compassionate God and Father of all,
we are horrified at violence
in so many parts of the world.
It seems that none are safe, and some are terrified.
Hold back the hands that kill and maim;
turn around the hearts that hate.
Grant instead your strong Spirit of Peace -
peace that passes our understanding
but changes lives,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Make your ways known in Ghana, Lord God,
your saving power among all peoples.
Renew your Church in holiness
and help us to serve you with joy.
Guide the leaders of this nation,
that justice may prevail throughout Ghana.
Let not the needy be forgotten,
nor the hope of the poor be taken away.
Make us instruments of your peace
and let your glory be over all this nation.

Gracious God,
We pray for peace in our communities this day.
We commit to you all who work for peace and an end to tensions,
And those who work to uphold law and justice.
We pray for an end to fear,
For comfort and support to those who suffer.
For calm in our streets and cities,
That people may go about their lives in safety and peace.
In your mercy, hear our prayers,
now and always.
God our deliverer,
defender of the poor and needy;
when the foundations of the earth are shaking,
give strength to your people to uphold justice and fight all wrong,
in the name of your son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Isaiah 54:4 Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.

You can trust God. Many of you are going through the biggest storm of your life, but I want you to know that you can really trust God. I’m not a motivational speaker. I’m not trying to be cliche with things that all Christians may say. I’m not telling you something that I haven’t experienced. There have been many times where I had to trust God.

I’ve been through the fire. I know how it is. You can trust Him. He is faithful. If you are going through a job loss I want you to know that you are not the first and that's not the end.
If you are going through financial troubles I want you to know that there was a time in my walk with Christ where I literally had nothing, but Christ. If you lost a loved one I want you to know that I have lost a loved one.
If you have ever been disappointed I want you to know that I’ve failed, I’ve made mistakes, and I’ve been disappointed many times. If you have a broken heart I want you to know that I know how it feels to have a broken heart. If you are going through situations where your name is being slandered I’ve been through that pain. I’ve been through the fire, but God has been faithful one situation after another.

There has never been a time when God didn’t provide for me. Never! I’ve seen God move even though for some situations it took a while. He was building in me a faith unlike any other. He’s been working in me through the many hard times. Why do we cast so much doubt on the power of the living God? Why? Sometimes God’s blessing are not in what He gives; but in what He takes away. He knows best, trust Him.Sometimes when things are falling apart they may actually be falling into place. The more you trust God the more he amazes you.

When Things Don’t Go Your Way.

Learning to submit to God means learning to trust and follow him even when you don’t think his way makes sense. Think about it: have you ever prayed for something and it didn’t happen? How did you respond? When we don’t know how or don’t want to submit to God, we usually respond in one of the following ways:
• We stop praying for specific things or stop praying completely.
• We doubt that God really exists or if prayer works.
• We feel like God doesn’t really care about what we need.
If you relate to any of these, try these three tips and begin learning to submit to God in prayer. Jesus prayed: “Going a little ahead, he fell on his face, praying, “My Father, if there is any way, get me out of this. But please, not what I want. You, what do you want? ”Matthew 26:39 (MSG) .One thing that always surprises me about the cross is that Jesus didn’t want to go. I can relate to Him – God called Him to do something hard and he didn’t want to do it; He knew it would be painful and difficult. What I admire is how He handled it – He didn’t rebel or soldier on pretending to be fine. He told God that He disagreed, and He kept praying until his attitude changed.

In which areas of your life do you disagree with what God wants you to do? Maybe it’s your schedule, your future, how you treat your spouse, or how you believe you should practice your faith. How do you handle these disagreements? Prayer has the power to change our hearts. Submitting to God in any area requires our own personal, honest conversations with Him where we admit our feelings and keep talking until we agree. Decide to take some time of your own at a peaceful place, like the beach or a park, and wrestle with God [Genesis 32;24-28] about the specific area you need to submit to him. Don’t be afraid to tell Him how you really feel, and don’t give up until you decide to trust Him.

Trust that God’s plan is always better than yours..No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way [Hebrews 12:10-11] to submit to God, we have to fight to find the ways that his plan is better and ultimately for our good.
So many times God had to say no to my plan, because He had something better. As the scripture teaches, God’s discipline may be painful but it’s always good in the end. Why do you think God might be saying “no” to what you want right now? Who do you think He wants you to become? I know it’s not easy trusting God when you find yourself failing after obeying His command.

Ultimately, any challenge or struggle in our lives gives us purpose – we can give others the hope and comfort they need to make it through. I’ve found that any struggle in my life, big or small, becomes so much more meaningful when I see how I can help someone else. Pray to meet someone else who is going through the same battle you have before and you will appreciate God for helping you sail through. God will answer that prayer, and you will find new inspiration in having the ability to forever change someone’s life.

I've seen many people pray, fast and cry unto the Lord for answered prayers. Sometimes, these people in turn become angry with God when their prayers are being answered.

The Prophet Jonah was sent by God to minister the gospel to the people of Nineveh. They repented after hearing his message and God forgave them.
"And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did not". Jonah 3:10

But Jonah was displeased and very angry and bitter about what the Lord had done. Jonah 4:1
"But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry". We will always have to bear in mind that God has got the final say and He seeks no ones Counsel on what to do and how it ought to be done, because He's all knowing and will never put to shame those that call on His name.

People pray for breakthroughs and fight that same breakthrough when it comes. They pray for marriage and when their spouses find them they begin to fight them.Others pray for jobs and when the job comes they complain of tiredness. People don't agree with Gods will being done but do you know what tomorrow holds? None is wiser than Him and believe He knows the plans He's got for you.

Don't fight your prayer, but rather be thankful

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Isaiah 41:10

"But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded"
2 Chronicles 15:7

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to make u prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

Bible reading: 1 kings 3:16-28
There have been times when we've never had people to help us out of our issues but that never meant it's all come to an end. It's surprising how the first woman got to know the other lady had rolled over her baby and killed him after she had mentioned they both were asleep. There are times, without the spirit, you can barely know not what should be done in a situation. It was after there was light (Jesus) that she realized the baby wasn't hers. Until God comes into the situation, are you so sure of the decisions you are making?

There are a lot of people who have been misjudged but there is always one who never misjudge. Most Christians give up when they are down but this first woman never kept mute. She kept on pressing till she had that which was hers. She asked for her son to live even if she would lose him but we,on the other hand, give up without making sacrifices and blame our failure on God. Beloved if you ever have a reason to start something, never forget and never stop going. Sometimes it's our relationships , marriages, occupations and even families but we can't forget about the sword (bible).

Have you ever been in a situation where you have been accused wrongly and out of that your reputation has been stained and there was no way you could be vindicated? Never forget this, that there is a man who judges right and He will vindicate you. Just don't keep quite, summon them all before the king of kings and rest your case. Beloved never give up on your dreams and aspirations, your father is ever ready to help you. Move away from the accusing and discouraging voices and have faith, you can never be moved.

We tend to think at times that some stories we read from scriptures are not real. This is just because we are not willing to face facts. Are there times we have neglected the truth because of the multitude? Have you as a man of God spoken that which the Lord has not commanded, or done evil in the eyes of God just in helping others out? Then consider to these two scenarios from the scriptures.

Joshua had a number of nations rise up against him. This is a battle he could lose easily for he couldn't fight those mighty nations, but God instructed him with what to do in order to win the battle and the Bible states that Joshua did all that the Lord had commanded him. God being so truthful, Joshua won the war though he stood alone.

Now there lived a King who taught of himself small when he was elected by God to be King over Israel. There comes a time when God instructs Him as to how to war but he does as he pleases. He spares the life of the king he conquered and allows his soldiers gather his cattle. This is his choice and not the will of God. Is it because he sees himself above the one who instructed him and now calls the one who anointed him (Samuel's God) and not his?

Have you ever spoken lies in the name of God? Have you made God feel sorry for creating you as in Saul's case? Have you only looked out for the benefit you would get from the gift God has given you or you have used it purposefully? Never forget that He who has the ultimate power in making you can equally unmake you. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

"From the tribe of Issachar, there were 200 leaders of the tribe with their relatives. All these men understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take." I Chronicles 12:32

From observing daily activities in life, it is very easy to identify how important times and seasons are and their related course of action. A classic example can be seen in the art of driving. At the show of the red light on a traffic light, the best course of action of all cars from that direction is to come to a halt and at the showing of a green light, the best course of action is to move! We realise in this scenario that, moving at the wrong time and being still when you are supposed to move can have great consequences. And anytime one finds himself at ignoring the timings of the traffic light, there is a price to pay.

For many people around the world
the last 1 month has been tough weeks of preparation and decision making. Many have entered into new businesses, ventures, careers, higher level of education among others. Many have broken out of relationships, initiated new ones, resigned from their companies and gained appointment to others, recovered from ailment as well as discovered previously untapped opportunities. Some of also taken decisions that they are soon going to find out were taking without great preparation and All the same you have never been alone. These last few weeks have been the closing or final stages of the Israeli Calendar.
Isreal signifies the kingdom of God to which all Christians(gentile and Jew) have been called and every Christian must be interested in the spiritual seasons he or she is ushered into via the timings and season of the Holy Land.

I therefore encourage you to place importance on preparation and decision making in this season and I declare to you as today is the Isreali New year day , a fresh hope is dawning upon your soul, you shall make decisions that shall bring you great success, you shall enter into a season of new beginnings and you shall have yet another adventure with ever new mercies and graces of God. The key to aligning yourself to the good things that this new year brings is to praise God and let nothing stop your praise.

Today is New Year Holiday and to you I say, Happy New in advance. 😀

And from the pit they had dug for him, they heard a melody rise. Is he still singing! They enquired of each other, does this boy think he can insult us and go scot-free? Well if he thinks we will release him from this then he must be joking!
Then a voice from among their midst rose up and declared, Look! Slave masters draw near, lets sell him and see if he will be laughing at the wrong side of his mouth this time.

So they picked him up and sold him for a few pieces of gold while they carried a devilish smirk on their faces.
And with delight and a sense of accomplishment they watched the caravan take off and with clapping they heralded the sending off of their insolent brother into a life of slavery.
But!
Their joy was short-lived as they heard the same song they had heard from the pit lifted up once more, more gloriously and even angelic. It carried a measure of peace and joy that crushed their stony hearts.

Aah aah aah they chorused; Is he still singing! As they hurled stones at their brothers carriage in attempt to silence him but nothing would silence his praise as he continued to sing:

🎶🎼You can take my coat, but you can't take my destiny
And you can sell me out, but you can't steal my destiny🎼🎧🎶

🎷🎺🎻Oh You can soil my coat, but you can't stain my destiny
And you can claim am dead but you can't kill my destiny🎤🎹🎵

Though My life has not been easy and I wish i could actually sing the song above to your hearing so you would be encouraged also to take comfort in the fact that no one could shut Joseph's praise nor divert his destiny and this testimony, today, our testimony also.

NOTHING STOP YOUR PRAISE.
