KNOWING GOD: More Valuable than Gold or Silver

“I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death”
(Philippians 3:10, NIV).

Here it is in a nutshell: Knowing God through Christ is priority number one in the life of the Christian.

As we get to know God and store his Word in our heart, the Word of God will become personally operative in our life.

Paul wanted to know Christ and the power of his resurrection above all.

Every person is created to be a worshiper. God dwells and, I believe, manifests Himself in the praises of His people.

There is something inherent in the act of worship that enables us to encounter the power of God like nothing else.

When we worship, the invisible God is at work doing invisible and powerful things.
