COVENANT WITH GOD.
Instead of questioning God about her barrenness, Hannah chose to take her burden to the Lord. She didn’t spend her time asking, “Why me?”—she went before God with a sincere heart and a specific request: “Lord, give me a child.” Her faith was not in questioning but in seeking.
If Hannah had not gone to Shiloh, she would never have encountered her miracle. It was in the place of worship, prayer, and sacrifice that God remembered her. Sometimes your miracle is tied to your obedience to go where God’s presence dwells. The journey to Shiloh represents the place of surrender—where human effort ends and divine intervention begins.
What God does in our lives is never for showmanship, but for the glory of His name. Every testimony, every answered prayer, and every miracle has one purpose—to reveal the greatness of God. Hannah’s story reminds us that our blessings are not meant for display but to bring honor to the One who gave them.
When Hannah prayed and made a vow, promising that the child would belong to God, that was the turning point. Her prayer moved from personal desire to divine purpose. God answers when our prayers align with His will. The moment Hannah connected her need to God’s glory, heaven responded.
And when you have prayed all kinds of prayers and still see no result—don’t give up. Go deeper. Make a covenant with God. A covenant prayer says, “Lord, if You bless me, I will use the blessing for Your glory.” That’s when miracles happen.
May you, like Hannah, rise from the place of weeping to the place of worship. May your Shiloh moment bring forth your long-awaited miracle.
