What Will Your Concluding Remarks Be? — Elder Kwaku Boateng Urges Mankind To Reflect Deeply

Elder Philip Kwaku Boateng, Presiding Elder of the Redemption Assembly in the Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost, has challenged everyone to reflect on what their final words will be in their last moments on earth in relation to the fulfilment of their God-given assignments.

He posed this thought-provoking question during a sermon at the burial service of the late Elder J. B. Fordjour (Rtd), held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Mpatasie.

Preaching from 2 Timothy 4:6–8, Elder Boateng, who also serves as a District Executive Committee Member, emphasised the importance of one’s final words, noting that some parting words can be divisive, while others reflect victory and fulfilment. He cited Jesus’ declaration on the cross, “It is finished,” as the ultimate example of a life that fulfilled its divine purpose.

Reflecting on Apostle Paul’s words, he explained that Paul’s confident declaration of completing his mission stemmed from a life faithfully lived according to God’s will, stressing that every call from God is purposeful.

“Paul, knowing that he had successfully completed his God-given assignment, was able to make such a bold declaration,” he said.

Elder Boateng further drew from 1 Samuel 26:21 to contrast King Saul’s admission of his foolish actions with the victorious final words of Jesus and Paul, asking what your last words will be at your final breath—will they reflect a fulfilled purpose or a wasted life?

He also highlighted the consequences of dying without knowing Christ and urged all, especially non-believers, to accept Him as Lord and personal Saviour, so as to live fulfilled and impactful lives and ultimately receive the crown of righteousness.

God’s Miracle Power Still At Work Through Transformed Lives — Elder Addae Manu

Elder Daniel Addae Manu, the Presiding Elder of the Royal Assembly in the Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost, has affirmed that God’s miracle-working power remains active today, especially in the lives of transformed believers.

“God’s miracle power is still at work; if only you make yourself available, you will experience it,” he stated.

He made this remark on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, during a sermon at the ongoing New Tafo Area Week I programme at the Central Assembly Auditorium. The district-level event, themed, “Transformed by the Power of the Spirit,” draws inspiration from Acts 1:8 and 1 Corinthians 2:4–5.

Preaching on the topic, “The Transforming Power of the Spirit Brings Miracles,” Elder Addae Manu described transformation as a deep, inner change in a believer’s life, noting that such a person walks by the Spirit and aligns their lives with God’s Word daily. He emphasised that a transformed believer desires to live a life that pleases God.

He quoted Romans 12:1–2 to highlight the sacrificial nature of a transformed life, stressing the need for believers to approach God with a pure and clean hearts.

Referencing Galatians 5:22–23, Elder Addae Manu explained that transformed believers reflect the character of God, adding that this divine nature distinguishes them as true children of God. He noted that since the Spirit of God dwells in believers, their lives are marked by miracles, as indicated in Mark 16:17.

He further underscored the vital role of the Holy Spirit in convicting believers of wrongdoing and empowering them to overcome sin (Hebrews 1:9), cautioning that God cannot use a believer who embroils himself or herself in sin.

Elder Addae Manu also emphasised the authority in the name of Jesus and the power of God’s Word in overcoming the devil and his cohorts, citing Luke 10:18–19.

After the sermon, Elder Rockson Appiah Kubi led the church in a firebrand prayer session, resulting in a mighty move of the Spirit.

The event was graced by the presence of the Area Head and his wife, Prophet Samuel and Mrs. Victoria Tetteh Doku.

Christianity Is A Practical Way of Life — Elder Frank Amankwaah

Elder Frank Kwabena Amankwaah of the Royal Assembly in the Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost has called on Christians to reflect the transformation they have experienced through their faith in Christ Jesus in their daily lives.

Speaking at the morning session of the ongoing New Tafo Area Week I programme on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Central Assembly auditorium, he highlighted the practicality of Christian living, explaining that believers must ensure their lives are aligned with their profession of faith.

The district-level event, themed “Transformed by the Power of the Spirit,” is inspired by Acts 1:8 and 1 Corinthians 2:4–5.

Drawing from Romans 12:1–2, Elder Kwabena Amankwaah urged believers to present their bodies as a living sacrifice to God and cautioned against compartmentalising faith, where one lives differently in church and at home or at work.

He reminded the congregation that anyone in Christ is a new creation and must reflect that new identity, quoting 2 Corinthians 5:17. He stressed that genuine transformation begins with the renewal of the mind, which ultimately shapes behaviour.

Re-echoing the statement of the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Eric Nyamekye, that the workplace remains a key mission field for Christians, he emphasised that since many believers spend a significant portion of their time at the workplace, their co-workers could give a better account of their lives; hence, they should exhibit a godly lifestyle there.

Elder Frank Kwabena Amankwaah further explained that Christian living is not limited to church settings but extends to every sphere of believers’ lives, stating that “we come to church for teaching and practise it outside.” He underscored the significance of character in Christian life, noting that it either draws others to or repels them from Jesus Christ.

Sharing his personal testimony of a previously compromised lifestyle, Elder Kwabena Amankwaah illustrated how inconsistency in conduct can undermine one’s integrity, urging the congregation to live uprightly.

Supernatural Living Flows From Alignment With God’s Frequency — Pastor Adubofourh Reveals

Christians have been encouraged to strive to have an intimate connection with God in order to operate in the supernatural.

This exhortation was given by Pastor Maxwell Adubofourh Asiedu, the Yennyawoso District Minister of The Church of Pentecost, during the official opening of the ongoing New Tafo Area Week I, held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Central Assembly auditorium.

The district-level event, themed, “Transformed by the Power of the Spirit,” is inspired by Acts 1:8 and 1 Corinthians 2:4–5.

In his sermon, Pastor Adubofourh emphasised that operating in the supernatural requires alignment with God’s divine frequency, saying, “No one can demonstrate the power of God without being under the influence of the Holy Spirit.”

Expounding on the theme, the clergyman quoted copiously from Scripture to highlight the intense zeal Paul exhibited in defending Judaism by vehemently persecuting Christians.

According to him, Paul’s encounter with Christ brought about a total transformation that repositioned him for impactful ministry, marked by signs, wonders, and the power of the Holy Spirit, citing Acts 9:1–3; 13:6–11; and Romans 15:19.

In conclusion, Pastor Adubofourh stressed fasting and prayer, as well as righteous living, as essentials in attuning to God’s frequency for supernatural acts, and urged the congregation to prioritise these spiritual disciplines.

The Envied Are Those Who Die In The Lord — Pastor Adubofourh Asserts

The Minister in Charge of the Yennyawoso District of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Maxwell Adubofourh Asiedu, has affirmed that those who die in the Lord are truly blessed, characterising them as the most enviable.

Speaking at the burial service of Deaconess Theresah Gyimah (Rtd) of the Royal Assembly on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Yennyawoso Central Assembly auditorium, he preached on the topic, “Blessed Are They That Die in the Lord,” with Revelation 14:13 as his scriptural reference.

Pastor Adubofourh noted that the term “blessed” theologically connotes “happiness or being envied,” highlighting the profound significance of dying in Christ. He refuted the notion that affluence makes a person enviable, citing Revelation 7:15–17 to underscore that it is the dead in Christ who are indeed the most enviable. According to him, such people suffer neither hunger nor thirst, nor the scorching heat of the sun, for the Lord Himself is their Shepherd, leading them to life-giving springs and wiping away every tear from their eyes.

He concluded by emphasising that accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is central to entering the Kingdom of God, appealing to non-believers to embrace faith in Him and urging believers to serve faithfully so they may partake in these divine blessings after their earthly sojourn.

Deaconess Theresah Gyimah (Rtd), mother of Deaconess Janet Appau of Yennyawoso Central, passed on at the ripe age of 85.

The service recorded a massive turnout, including Pastor Ernest Wisdom Worlanyo, Pastor Simon Kankam and his wife, and Mama Joana (wife of the Yennyawoso District Minister), among others.
