Prophet Martinson Kwadwo Yeboah, born in 1924 in Ghana, was one of the quiet yet weighty voices God raised in a crucial season of the Church’s growth. From his early years, there was something noticeably different about him. He was calm, reflective, and deeply spiritual—a man whose strength was not in volume, but in depth.

When Prophet Yeboah spoke, he spoke with gentleness and composure. There was no haste in his words, no aggression in his tone. Yet his calm voice carried authority. Those who sat under his ministry often said, “He didn’t raise his voice, but he raised your conscience.” It felt as though God Himself was calmly addressing His people.

He was a man devoted to prayer and waiting on God. Long before he stood before congregations, he spent hours alone with Scripture and in fasting. As God’s call on his life became clearer, he responded in obedience and eventually entered full-time ministry, laying aside personal ambitions to serve God completely. From that point, his life was fully given to prayer, prophecy, and pastoral responsibility.

One of the striking features of his ministry was the way miracles happened quietly but powerfully. People came to meetings with long-standing sicknesses—conditions that had defied medical help and repeated prayers. At times, Prophet Yeboah would pause, look gently into the congregation, and describe someone’s situation with precise clarity. After prayer—often without drama—people testified that pain vanished, strength returned, and long-term afflictions disappeared. The miracles were undeniable, yet they unfolded with calm dignity.

There were also moments of deep prophetic insight. Hidden struggles, secret fears, and unspoken bondages were revealed—not to expose, but to deliver. Many testified that recurring nightmares stopped, spiritual oppression lifted, and peace entered their lives after one encounter with him. What amazed people most was how calmly he handled these moments, as though the supernatural was a normal part of walking with God.

More than anything else, Prophet Martinson Kwadwo Yeboah carried a burden for the future of the Church. Again and again, he spoke words that would later define his legacy:

Asɔre yi daakye…”
The future of the Church…

He warned that the Church’s future would not be secured by numbers, impressive buildings, or activity alone, but by holiness, prayer, obedience, and faithfulness to the Holy Spirit. He foresaw a time when the Church would be tested—not by persecution, but by comfort; not by opposition, but by popularity. At the time, these words sounded sobering. Years later, many would admit that his warnings were prophetic.

Because of his spiritual maturity, wisdom, and proven leadership, God elevated him to serve as Chairman of The Church of Pentecost. In that role, he remained the same calm, prayerful man—balancing prophetic insight with administrative responsibility. He consistently reminded the Church that structure must never replace the Spirit, and leadership must never drift from dependence on God.

He did not seek attention. He did not build his ministry around personality. His focus was always alignment with God’s will and preparation of the Church for what lay ahead.

Prophet Martinson Kwadwo Yeboah will always be remembered as
a calm but piercing prophetic voice,
a leader who carried God’s heart for the Church, and a man who saw beyond his generation and warned with love.

And his words continue to echo with relevance and urgency:

“Asɔre yi daakye.”
