God not only wants you to see His works of greatness but He also wants you to know the ways of His heart. To know God's works means that you know Him from a distance through observation. To know God's ways means that you know Him personally through intimacy. Knowing His heart means understanding what is important to Him and living with His approval.

There are some things that God wants you to hold on to and never release your grip upon. They include the confidence that you have in Him, and the certainty of hope that you have received from Him. Don’t let your confidence in God slip away for any reason, child of God.

Even though the circumstances you are walking through may be difficult and the burden may be great, Jesus’ yoke upon you will be easy and His burden will be light. His will for you during hard times is never retreat or defeat, but steadfastness and patient endurance.

Jesus, You are my life. You are the reason I live. You are my gladness and my song of songs. You are closer to me than my very breath, for You have joined Your spirit to my spirit. You know me at my deepest level, and I know that You are revealing Yourself to me at the deepest level of Your being. I abide in You, I am one with You. You are the subject of my thoughts, the centre of my motivation, the object of my inspiration and the fulfilment of all my heart knows to be true.

Jesus never wants you to be isolated from Him. Jesus is joined to your life in a way that is closer than any person and dearer than a friend. Jesus said, “I am in the Father.” That means that Jesus is as close to the Father as He can possibly be. Jesus said, “You are in Me”. That means that you are as close to the Father as Jesus is. It also means that you are as close to Jesus as you can possibly be.

Jesus said that without Him you could do nothing, but that also means that with Him you can do all things. When He asks you to speak for Him, He will give you the words, when He asks you to follow Him, He will give you the direction, when He asks you to bless others, He will provide the resources needed.
