Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

One thing that steals the joy of many people is comparison.

People compare their success with others, many compare their challenges with others, many compare their relationships with others, etc.

Let me ask you:
why the comparison?
Is it to motivate you to be a better version of yourself?
Or to give you more reasons to be grateful to God?

If the above are your reasons then its okay.

However, if you are comparing yourself to others to feel bitter, be ungrateful, tell the world how unfortunate you are, then its not healthy.

Our mission on earth is unique, our battles may look similar but not the same.

Your assignment and what it requires is different from any other person. Gal 6:4-5 puts it right.

Your time for marriage is different, time for child birth is different, time for promotion is different, battles of life is different.

Remember, what you have freely that you don't value may be the daily prayer point of someone.

God bless you

When God is With You

People experience very challenging issues in life. Sometimes the pain we go through seems to take forever.

Tell me a single individual so blessed by God who has no bitter story to tell.

As followers of Christ all things work together for our good. Rom 8:28

Those bad moments, bitter experiences are all part of the great lessons that God has allowed us to pass through if we are truly dependent on Him.

Don't be bitter because you may not understand Him now.

Don't give up on God, sometimes you need to pass through prison to become a Prime Minister.

However, all these assurances are valid when God is with us.

You are not the first to be in the situation you are in now and will never be the last.

God cares for you
Keep trusting in Him

God bless you

THE REWARD OF HUMILITY

The ultimate goal of every Christian should be able to imitate Christ in all we do (disciple).

The criteria is to ask ourselves constantly: what would have Christ done in this situation?

In the letter to the church at Philippi, the writer admonished that there is a need to let this mind that was in Christ Jesus be with us too.

The mind here was a mind of Humility.

What perception do you have about yourself and about others?
How do people see you?

Christ humbled Himself despite His position as God till the cross.

Do you think about yourself better than every other person?

Proverbs 15:33 says honor follows humility.

I pray that we will all have this mind of Christ as we journey through the world.

IT SHALL NOT REMAIN LIKE THIS FOREVER

One thing is certained in life; no situation or state is permanent.

Life has different seasons, at a point one is so happy and wishes that moment never leaves. At a point life feels so unbearable that we wished that season had never come.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, says there is time for everything.

Beloved, what season are you in right now?

Many are in season of pain, disappointment, joblessness, loneliness, sickness, etc.

Remember, just like what happened to Job this season shall pass.

Others are in a season of happiness, strength, influence, abundance, etc. Kindly, remember things change.

Therefore, as believers let us not reject God no matter the season we are in. Let us submit to Him daily whether things are good or bad.

God bless you so much

Push Harder, God is With You

"Many people never knew how close they were to success when they gave up"

Our Bible says '... Whatever your hands finds to do, do it with all your might...'

Consistency and being excellent with what we have been entrusted is one of what God expects of us.

As we journey this week let us all put in our best effort in whatever God has entrusted to us.

Remember, whatever you do, do it as unto God. Col 3:23

Don't give up for failing, keep pushing till you get there. You may be very close to the dream so don't surrender!

Let every word from your mouth be the best that drives you positively.

God bless you
Have a wonderful week.
Good morning

Finishing Well

God has called us to Himself to begin the journey of faith in Him and finish in Him as well.

Many accept this great call from Christ, live like Christ for a while but fail to remain faithful till the end.

Demas started his journey of faith well but unfortunately couldn't hold fast till the end.

Revelation 2:10 admonished the early Christians not to fear any challenges that will come their way.

The only way we could receive the crown of life is to be faithful till the end.

Let me ask you briefly:
1. How was your commitment towards things of God when you first encountered Him?
2. How is your commitment to Him today?
3. Are you growing more closer to Him or farther from Him?

I pray that God help us all to live in Him.

Good morning

Maintain a Good Relationship With God

There are two major relationships we must maintain as human: A good personal relationship with man (horizontal relationship) and a great relationship with God (vertical relationship)

Our success in life depends on these relationship.

God is our creator and the source of all our resources therefore we must be conscious in having a good relationship with Him.

James puts it right by saying *".... draw near to God and He will draw near to you ....."*

We can draw near to God via obedience through Christ, prayer and daily meditation of His Word.

The nearer we draw to God, the nearer He draws to us too.

Let's all deliberately do everything possible to draw nearer to God and we will love the relationship with Him.

Have a fruitful week
