*MEDITATE ON THE WORD*

Psalm 17:6

I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

King David the Psalmist made a supplication to God and asked that He would attend to his cry. He spoke of how God tested his heart and tried him, yet nothing was found in him. The psalmist proposed that He would not transgress with his mouth and he went further, asking God to uphold his steps in the path of God, so that he will not slip. David had confidence while praying, he said he has called on God and God will hear him.

Whenever we make supplications to God, we should do so with a clean heart. Ask God for forgiveness and ask Him to cleanse you from unrighteousness. Be willing and ready to please Him, turn away from sin because it hinders prayers. Then pray to God with confidence that He will hear. While praying, do not speak to God doubting, or with insincerity, as if you are just reciting codes. Pray to God with confidence that the prayers have ascended to His ears and believe that He will answer. _"‭Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1st John 5:14."_

Dear Father, thank You so much for being attentive to the cries of Your children. Please Lord, help us to pray to You, in any moment of weakness or strength, and be confident that You will answer in Jesus name, Amen!

‭Numbers 10:9

When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

The children of Israel blew trumpets on several occasions; during feasts of trumpets, to call up an assembly, as a praise and worship to God. It was also blown in times of war, the sound of the trumpet helped raise an alarm before God, so that they will be remembered by the Lord and be saved from their enemies. When raising a voice in worship to God, do not also hesitate to raise a sound of alarm to Him during difficult times.

Dear child of God, never attempt fighting through life's struggles by yourself, because you can only win through the intervention of Jesus. Therefore, whenever there's war against your walk with God, your business and finance, academics or anything else, do not shy away from it. Sound an alarm to the Almighty Warrior and you will be remembered before the LORD your God and be saved, because it is written, _"He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. Psalms 91:15."_

Almighty and Everlasting Father, thank You so much for fighting our battles. Please Lord, give us the grace to always stand and be conquers in You, in Jesus name, Amen!

‭Deuteronomy 31:8

And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

While doing the work God has blessed you with, when achieving goals becomes difficult, fear should not be an option for success. Fear can lead to discouragement which slows down progress. Do not give in to anxiety, instead, pray about it and cast all your worries at the feet of the Lord Jesus.

Dear Child of God, do not let anxiety control you. God is the One who promised to be with you, He goes before you, orders your steps and all you need to do is follow Him. When you do not see any result or feel nothing is working, handover everything to the Master who will not abandon you on the way. He is with you and when the Almighty walks with you, He makes the way straight. Have faith and let fear vanish away. ‭ _"For the Lord will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. Psalm 94:14."_

‭Joshua 21:45

Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

God always fulfill what He says, He promised His people of their freedom from the bo***ge in Egypt and rescued them. In their journey through the wilderness, God healed, fed and sheltered them. They never lacked any good thing because God was with them, and despite the oppositions and unbelief, He preserved and brought the Israelites to the promised land.

God is faithful, He will accomplish every good thing He has spoken, just believe His Word over your life and proclaim them. Seek to please God in living according to His Word and open your heart to receive from Him. Do not delay or ruin His good thing for you by living in sin and unbelief, surrender to the Lord and He will bring His Word to pass over your life. _"Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses. 1Kings 8:56."_

‭Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

God is not a man, He is the Almighty. Humans are so restricted and are not always dependable. When making deals with people, they can't always be fully trusted to deliver, they can change and disappoint along the way, intentionally or not, because the human is limited by default.

Trust in God, and believe that His plans for you are perfect. God is unlimited and more than able to do what He said He will, He is able to carry you through to the end, stop downgrading God's capability. While dealing with men, plan Bs are advisable but with God, all your eggs are safe in His basket. Hold on to His promises for your life despite your current situation, surrender all to Him and don't doubt Him because of what you see, have faith in Jesus. _"For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2nd Corinthians 5:7"_

Almighty and Everlasting Father, thank You so much for Your perfect plans and for seeing us through along the way. Please Lord, forgive us for all the times we doubted You, please increase our faith and give us grace to trust You more and follow Your way, in Jesus name, Amen.

John 15:4

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

We give our lives meaning by always staying connected and dependant on Jesus, as the branch stays connected with the vine to be fruitful. This deep and intimate relationship can be attained when we consistently study and meditate on His Word, pray to God about anything and live in obedience to His commands. We need to yearn for a continuous communion with Jesus.

Do you want to live a fruitful life of purpose and prosperity, one which is rewarding? do not fail to remain in Jesus, stay connected as all you need to live a meaningful life flows from Him. You cannot successfully live in the nature of Christ, obey His commands, do His good works, win souls and glorify God by your own power, but it can be achieved by maintaining this connection with Jesus because without Him, we can do nothing. _"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5."_

Proverbs 1:10

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

There are many voices presenting ideas that are contrary to God's will and do not align to His Word. Some opinions could appear as a smart idea, subtle and not looking like an outright sin, yet it entices believers to disobey God. Do not be close to people who refused to live for Christ, to avoid being in situations of getting such advices that could make believers lose guard.

This is an instruction to not agree with sinners in their folly. Trust the wisdom of God for any solution you need and follow His directions. Be friends with children of God who can give you wise counsel that brings blessings to your life. While seeking for revelation that can transform any aspect of your life, ask God first, not social media. God is not outdated, He is Omniscient and knows all things. Talk with God always and make friends with His children. _"The righteous should chose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray. Proverbs 12:26."_

Thank You Lord Jesus for giving us directions to follow. Please Lord, preserve us from wrong counsels and open our hearts to listen and follow Your will, in Jesus name, Amen.

Psalms 139:14

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

When God created man, God formed him in His image. How honourable it is to be created by the Almighty, designed marvellously in His magnificent likeness. God perfectly and intentionally made each individual uniquely different in special ways He made us; various facial looks, complexion, hair, physiques, voice, fingerprints, shapes, and good personality.

We need to glorify God and never try to compare ourselves according to the standard the world recognized as perfect beauty, nor think we were not beautiful enough like the world models, seeing the need to redo, change, or modify God's perfect art; adding substances to the body, redoing the hair to make it better, longer, improving the texture, high heels to increase body height, using jewelries, makeups to enhance or look more beautiful can show lack of contentment and confidence in God's awesome masterpiece which He wonderfully designed. _"Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Isaiah 43:7"_

Almighty Father, thank you so much for beautifully and carefully creating us in Your glorious image. Please Lord, help us to accomplish the good thing You created us for and glorify Your name, in Jesus name, Amen.

Those who have the knowledge of the joyful sound of the Gospel, Promises and Praises of Jesus will be blessed. They are also going to walk in the light of His countenance that brings so much blessings we need as we walk with God.

Do you want to be blessed as you walk in the countenance of God and enjoy all of His presence, goodness, favour, guidance, protection, blessings and support in your life? Then you should delight in His joyful sound and get acquainted with His Word to experience the benefits that comes with walking in the light of His countenance. _"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6._

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

Grace is unmerited favour that we receive from God. When God wants to show mercy, He gives grace and peace that surpasses all understanding. In the knowledge of Jesus, we have everything we need for life and godliness. His knowledge in us is an invaluable treasure that enrich us, and when we abound in it, we will not be barren or unfruitful.

A person who lacks this knowledge of Jesus and the attributes that makes us abound in the knowledge is blind and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. We are enabled in this knowledge to abound and be established with these supplementary attributes; diligence, virtue, knowledge, self control, patience, godliness, love and kindness. When we do all these, we will be able to stand and be ministered into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. _"For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2nd Peter 1:11."_

Psalms 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

*FOOD FOR THOUGHT*

There is a need for us to be cautious of our heart and pray to God to purify it. The psalmist, King David, acknowledged the impurity of his heart. He sinned against God, asked Him for mercy and cleansing away of iniquity. He went further to ask God to create in Him a clean heart and renew a right spirit in Him.

God has the capacity to create. He created the world by the Words of His mouth, and created the heart of man. He is able to create a clean heart, making it new again with His Word, and also renew the spirit, refreshing it from spiritual rot it acquired from sin. Considering this, let us abide in His Word to be made new again. We ought to also make it a duty to abstain from sin that afflicts the spirit and introduce rot to it, instead let us make Righteousness and Holiness a conscious habit, and live by the Word that renews the spirit. _"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, Ephesians 5:26."_
