ANSDACK Youth Ministries Bring Health and Hope to Kokoben Community
Kokoben, Atwima Kwanwoma District โ May 9, 2026
It was a day of smiles, gratitude, and godly love in Kokoben as the Youth Ministries of ANSDACK carried out a community evangelism outreach on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The program combined free health screenings with the distribution of kind donations to community members and church congregants in the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly.
The outreach, organized and led by the ANSDACK youth, aimed to โput a smile on the face of the peopleโ โ and it did just that. Residents turned out in large numbers, receiving basic health checks, including blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and general health counseling from volunteer medical personnel.
Alongside the screening, beneficiaries received donations of clothing, shoes, and other essentials. The joy was evident as community members expressed heartfelt appreciation. โIt was a memorable moment as the community members gladly accepted the donations with gratitude,โ one organizer noted.
The initiative was made possible through the wholehearted support of church members and well-wishers who donated generously to the project. Leaders of the Youth Ministries emphasized that the outreach was more than charity โ it was evangelism in action, demonstrating Christโs love through service.
โWe believe ministry goes beyond the pulpit. When we meet physical needs, we open doors to share hope,โ said a youth leader.
The event ended with prayers, fellowship, and renewed bonds between the church and the Kokoben community. ANSDACK Youth Ministries say this is only the beginning, with more community impact projects planned for the year.
