OUR YEAR OF FULFILLING DREAMS

CONNECTION BETWEEN AUTHORITY AND FAITHFULNESS
"And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities."
(Luke 19:17)
The second fact about authority is that your level of authority is determined by your level of faithfulness. The more faithful you are, the greater your authority becomes.
You can not handle certain situations if you lack the necessary authority. Authority is granted only when your faithfulness has been proven.
Faithfulness means being reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. It also means being committed to whatever is entrusted to you, performing it consistently, effectively, and efficiently.
●You are not faithful in your department.
●You are not faithful even to yourself
● You are not faithful in your marriage
●You are not faithful to your father
●You are not faithful to laws, rules, and regulations.
If you are doing nothing in the church yet expect to exercise authority, think again — the devil knows who you are very well. ⚠️ You do not have the right to exercise authority until your faithfulness has been tested and proven wealthy.
*Consider Jimmy Carter, a former president of the United States*, who served as an usher in his church in Georgia⛪.
Every Friday, he would fly by helicopter to Georgia to carry the offering plate as an usher on Sundays. He was not even the head of ushers.
When he became president, people feared him, and they offered to make him the head usher, but he refused. He told his pastor that he had served under his leadership before and would continue to do so without pride or ego that he is now a president, distinguishing between church service, kingdom of God and government leadership.
Values will point out people's clear behaviour .
At ninety years old, after undergoing surgery, the first thing he asked about when he awoke was the usher's ministry, where he served well and in humility.
If God can not trust you with service to your pastor, your church, and other works in the kingdom, why should He trust you with authority? The question is AUTHORITY over who or over what?
Satan failed God, so God is careful. Men have failed their bosses, so many men are very careful too as well.
May God water this seed this morning in your heart in a tangible way
