📌✍️
Since 2018, when I formally joined the clergy, I have learnt 7 valuable lessons I want to share with all up and coming pastors. Stick to these and you will do well and advance the ministry of Jesus Christ!!
Today I will share the second lesson
Lesson 2: A plurality of trained leaders is better than dependence on one person.
Every pastor eventually leaves through death, transfer, or a new call.
Acts 20:28 and the Pastoral Epistles are clear: churches were never meant to run on one man's gifts. They were meant to survive without him.
A church held together by one person's charisma isn't strong. It's just still standing, for now.
The real test of pastoral leadership isn't how the church runs while you're there. It's how it runs after you're gone.
Build a legacy that outlives you ; not one you outlive!
