*A Family Reborn: The Church of Pentecost, Konongo Central Assembly.Testimony of God's Love, Redemption, and Restoration*

During the Christmas convention on December 26, 2024, the church's Evangelism Team embarked on a mission to spread the Gospel. They visited a family of four (a single father and three children) and preached the Gospel to them, marking the beginning of a transformative journey for the family.

Later, Deaconess Gladys Bawa, a member of the team, that visited the family played a pivotal motherly role as led by the spirit. The Lord laid it on her heart to provide for the family's feeding needs, and she obediently responded by providing assistance to the family. This act of kindness was just the beginning of the church's involvement in the family's transformative life. The Children accepted Christ and were brought to the Children Ministry of the Church (Sunday School)

The attention of the Presiding Elder, Elder George Afedi was drawn to the family's situation. Moved by compassion, he instructed the church to provide additional financial assistance to the family's feeding. The church generously responded by providing food items for the family.

As the church continued to show God's love and support, the children who had dropped out from school for more than two years were elated and decided to attend School.

This situation was very sad and alarming.
Before enrolling the children in school, the church leadership invited the father to the church to inform him of their decision and obtain his consent. During his visit, he was introduced to the Gospel and he accepted Christ.

As he surrendered his life to Christ, he also experienced a remarkable deliverance from his addiction to alcohol and other hard drugs. Has was then baptised in water by the Konongo District Pastor (Peter Ansah)

With the father's consent, the children were enrolled in Konongo M/A Mines Model Basic 'B'. The church leadership continues to provide support, and ensuring that the family's needs are met. As a result, the family's life began to transform in remarkable ways.

The children are now adapted in their new educational environment, and the entire family now gives glory to God.

In a remarkable turn of events, Deaconess Gladys Bawa, who has been very instrumental in their journey to Christ received her own miracle. After suffering from severe waist pain for 24 years, has experienced instant healing, attributing it to her obedience to the Holy Spirit's leading.

This story stands as a testament to the transformative power of God's love and the importance of obeying His command.

May His Name be praised now and forever more.

*SUMMARY OF THE MESSAGE*
This morning, I bring you special greetings from Freetown assembly and the evangelism team there. God bless you all for the work you're doing starting from the district pastor through to the members as well as the officers who have worked tirelessly and have gone on retirement. I say God bless you all for taken upon yourself to work for the Lord.

There was a time I joined an evangelism team to visit a village. We saw that someone was wearing a ring. this made us ask him why he was wearing it. It was confirmed that it had been given by a fe**sh priest in order for him not to attend church and truly, he had never attempted to attend church. We took off the ring and he was set free. Do you think without the power of God, we could have taken off the ring? never.

Today, I would want us to talk about, "giving out our wealth for the kingdom of God."

Here, being the church is our home and we ought to do everything possible to make sure that we bring our wealth to support the work that goes on here and it's monetary aspect of support the evangelism team needs to pursue such a wonderful work of soul winning.

We have so many departments and units in the church and all of them need money to buttress their work. This makes the church gallop and develop as well. The evangelism team need money as well to work in order to win more souls into the kingdom.

We have been called into the kingdom irrespective of our transgressions being thieves, killers, etc but hadn't been the grace of God, we would've got rotten in our sins.

Gentiles are called into the kingdom through evangelism
Work for the Lord with everything you have. The devil is still in the business of destroying people but it takes only evangelism to rescue them. most of the people are destroyed and killed in their sins. In that case, we ought to win souls and rescue them from bondages.
We have to give special offerings to help those people in bondages. Most them have become robbers and they attach we same people. The sad thing is most them are young and they need to change their mindset through evangelism.

It's only grace that can rescue them and we can have that grace on them through giving. Most of them are doing that as a result of hardship and some get killed in the act. Such persons need Christ and it's the task of the evangelism team to win them. Let's support the team and pray for them as well

People need Christ, we have to present Christ to their doorstep. They are dying and must have Christ before their demises. What would we gain when we win souls?
When we win souls for Christ, we have a share in his kingdom and the souls would also have a share in heaven.

Apostle Obediah said, through their evangelism, there were only two things he said to a fe**sh priest and he changed his mind.

When you win souls, you'd have a reward to be paid to you in a form of divine award.
So whoever goes through trials, when they stand firm and win souls for Christ, they get a share in the kingdom. The one won should be protected from leaving and he must also join the evangelism team to win another souls which are in bondages. Bring souls in your vicinity, at your workplace, etc to the kingdom so you could get a share in heaves.

Being active in Christ and soul winning has its own special rewards from God. Let your activeness been exhibited and must be seen in the evangelism team. I therefore pray to request for strength from God to you. Your toil in the evangelism ministry would not be in vain. You'd get a reward through the evangelism. Work till you demise from the earth. Your rewards await you so work hard to possess nations for Christ. God bless you all.
