In the morning, new mercies fall on me
And they remain until the setting of the sun
Oh what a wonder and a beauty to behold
When in the eyes of everyman, you're the holiest of all.

Ephesians 2:4-5
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love for us

5 even when we were dead because of our offenses, made us alive together with the Christ (by grace you have been saved),


God is so rich in mercies. He never runs out of it, He has never run out of it and He will never run out of it.

Don't go to bed in the state of unrepaired and unrestored fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Speak to him.

The sinner in the temple didn't know how to pray but God listened to his heart through the words that he spoke (scripture reference; Luke 18:9-14).

The thief who hang with Jesus on the cross didn't know how to pray, perhaps had never prayed a single prayer in his life before but when he said remember me, God heard his heart in the midst of the lack of abundance of words and remembered him (Scripture reference; Luke 23:42-43).

Say a word of prayer.
Say Help me dear Holy Spirit.
Pray draw me nearer to you and see Him come in to embrace you.

Repair that broken fellowship.
Jesus loves you!

After carefully studying the scriptures, I have come to one realization that God has never considered sin on the basis of morality but on the basis of Faith.

Sin is not immorality. Sin has nothing to do with morality. As a matter of fact, a thing can be moral but yet sinful.

What is the Bible's take on sin?
Romans 14:23 - "... FOR WHATSOEVER IS NOT OF FAITH IS SIN."

It doesn't emphasize morality but FAITH.
Society decides on moral standards but God decides on what is good. Morality is not the standard for goodness but God.
Jesus makes this known in "Matthew 10:18 - And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.

Focusing on what sin is and is not can be confusing at times and may never get it right enough not to do it.

So why not focus on what Faith is; the instrument by which a man pleases God.
Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him (God): for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

So in simple terms, if it does not please God -it is sin.

Can you imagine the wide array of things that might be displeasing to God. Hweeeeeeew😅 ikr.

Is it then impossible for a man to be pleasing to God (be without sin)?
Certainly not! A man can please God absolutely. Only have faith in God.

Do you now understand why Jesus while on earth constantly addressed the faith of men. They had lost their instrument by which they could please God and had resorted to offerings and tithes and laws. But Jesus said NOT SO. GOD REQUIRES YOUR FAITH.

How then do I cultivate my faith?
The word of God is your only key.
Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Study the word of God. Read your Bible (and pray).
Study to show yourself approved unto God (2Timothy 2:15)

A man who has built his faith and focuses on the source of his faith, Jesus (Hebrews 12:2 - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;), cannot sin for he has the perfect example.

So instead of worrying your head over what is and what is not sin, spend your time brewing faith unto God and you will eliminate all the factors of sim from your life.

We have peace with God through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. This grace can only be accessed by FAITH. By faith, we access all of God's promises to us. It will be a great blessing hearing wonderful testimonies of the faithfulness of God and infallibility of His word on Saturday the 26th of October at exactly 2pm. The preaching of the cross is foolishness to them who are perishing, but to us it is the power and wisdom of God. Faith in the cross brings us into fellowship with God. Make a date with us this Saturday, 26th October at 2pm at the University of Ghana - Legon Central Cuisine. It's a blessing.
