Luke 2;42-50, 10: 38-42.
*Never take the things of God normal. God is searching for those who are passionate about him.
*Avoid over-business. Working for God is not a replacement for fellowship with Him.
- Some people are interested in sitting in committee meetings but not committed to God
- Some people are busy planning programs but their lives are not programmed (to conform to God's will)
*Never use others as your standard with your walk with God. Christ is our standard. Amen.

God is never in a hurry
"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth"
Deuteronomy 28:1 KJV

*Most times God speaks to us but we tend not to hear clearly because we do not yet know His Voice
"To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers."

It is not sufficient to read the Bible.. One can read the Bible and not hear God's Voice. Sometime we read the Bible just to satisfy our conscience that we have read the Bible.

The mark of the true follower of God is the ability to Hear God's voice.

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
